Bao Bao House Reviews
This is one of my favorite dinner spots! I super love the ginger goji berry tea served in the winter. I also love the beef noodle soup with sauerkraut here. I also love the chili oil dumplings and cucumber salad here.
If there's any complaint, it's not much but we often have to wait a long time for our food - most of the dishes are served but there's always a dish ...... that isn't served.
Recommended by a good friend and did not disappoint! Wontons, bao buns, and dumplings are all fantastic and full of flavor. Did a pickup order and got fast, hot food to go! Going to be a regular here for sure now.
We love Bao Bao house and can’t say enough about the service. The staff is the most friendly. So attentive and genuinely kind. The food is amazing. We especially love the beef curry bao and the pan fried wontons. Food is always fresh. You can literally watch a woman make baos at the counter! We have loved everything we’ve ordered. HIGHLY recommend.

Bao Bao House in Eugene, Oregon, offers delightful Chinese cuisine that will satisfy any craving. Their vegetable and pork wonton soup is a popular comfort food, while their char siu bao is a must-try. The restaurant provides flavorful options for vegetarians, such as vegetarian fried rice, vegetarian dumplings, and vegetarian-stuffed bao. Customers praise the delicious custard buns, noodle dishes, and baozi. The owner and staff are known for their friendly and attentive service, making the dining experience worthwhile. Bao Bao House is a cozy spot with brick walls and big windows, perfect for enjoying authentic Chinese flavors.
The beef curry bao is well-shaped, perfectly soft, and paired nicely with the freshly squeezed soy milk. The fried rice is also thoroughly enjoyed. The curry beef bao buns have a nice crisp on the bottom, fluffy and chewy on top, and are mildly seasoned. The pork wonton soup has a perfectly salted and flavorful broth, as are the wontons. The portion sizes are pretty good. The sour plum juice is delicious, and the children's artwork on the wall is appreciated.
The baozi is really good, with a legit Shanghai style. The shengjian, with a crispy bottom and just the right thickness wrap, is some of the best the reviewer has had. The curry beef is a bit bland but has lots of tender meat. The Taiwan pork rice is mediocre and could be better with cut pork instead of ground pork. The pan-fried dumplings are well-done and affordable, and the Shanghai dumplings and shrimp pan-fried are highly recommended. The beef soup has a solid flavor with fresh ingredients, and the spicy wontons are very good, along with the steamed dumplings.
