The only thing wrong with Newman's Grotto is the indoor seating shortage for cold and rainy winter days. There is ample outdoor seating for when it's nicer. The food is excellent! The service was great! If this isn't your go to fish and chips spot, you're doing it wrong.
Service is very quick, especially if you order online for pick up. My favorite is the halibut and fries basket and it is a very, very generous portion of halibut. Perfectly cooked. I usually feel like I don’t need to eat anything for the rest of the day when I have lunch there because the portions are that generous. Fish is extremely fresh and top quality.
