“I was in Tigard to visit grandkids for Christmas and stayed nearby. Shari’s has always been good but the breakfast I had yesterday with my granddaughter and my breakfast this morning before heading to the airport were outstanding! That’s how you make hash browns, that’s how you make eggs, and idk how they make it so good but the coffee is the best anywhere, for real. The servers and Toni, whom I believe may be the owner or certainly a manager, are all wonderful people and I highly recommend this Shari’s. Treat yourself and ride out there for a meal. “Had an evening food tasting here - there were several courses of delicious food provided with the experience. We added on the apple cider vinegar drink, which was the right choice to warm us up for the winter food tasting.Although I had noted with my booking that I'm gluten-free, they brought me a few courses with gluten. I had to keep checking and waiting for a revised course to be provided when the mistake was made. If you have a food sensitivity/allergy, keep this in mind and make sure you check with each serving/meal.If you do a group booking, make sure to let them know you want separate servings as they were bringing us one plate for each course for our group, until we asked them to bring us separate ones. Considering the food tasting is an expensive experience and they charge per person, this was the first time I was brought a single plate/serving for a group booking.”

The strawberry balsamic was hands down my favorite because the flavor was so intense. The passion fruit one would be my second choice.I would happily come back, but there are many other places I want to try while we're in Portland too. “This is a family owned and operated business with a very unique take on wood fired pizza. All of their pizzas are good with amazing crust. The Banh Mi pizza is very popular for a reason. I liked it best and the Burrata was also very tasty. Good beer too. The only downside to this place is that it is small and busy. So happy for the family and hope they get a bigger place to spread out.”

“My son and daughter in law chose this venue for the reception following their wedding. We had a group of less than 20 people in the private dining room. Fantastic experience. Everyone at the restaurant was helpful on coordinating setup prior to the event. The appetizers, cocktails, entrees and desserts all received rave reviews from the wedding guests. Service was on point and we were extremely pleased with everything. Highly recommended for a small group gathering space (the private room is the perfect size for a group of 20). We will dine here again during our next trip to Portland.”

“I have lived in Morocco and been traveling there since the 1970s. my lunch yesterday at Kasbah Moroccan Cafe was undoubtedly the best Moroccan food I have eaten in the US. The food was delicious and authentic. Portions were generous. While we had to eat outside due to Covid, we could see that the inside of the cafe was attractively done in Moroccan style. The owner was very friendly. My son-in-law is Moroccan and he loved the food as well. I unreservedly recommend this place and will make a point of eating there next time I visit Portland.”

Fresh handmade tortillas??? Yo, you’re trippin if you think this place is mid. Will definitely be coming back to try the habanero sauce. “The cutest subway station turned into a coffee spot! My friends and I ordered chai tea, spanish and tiramisu latte.The service took 30 minutes and the line wasn’t that long, but the lattes were absolutely worth it. Chai had the perfect amount of spice.”

“First of all, wow! Best poke bowls I’ve ever had. My friend and I came here and ordered the Tomyum Salmon Poke and the Aburi Salmon Don, along with some baked mussels. The fish is so fresh and they even give you free miso soup with every bowl and a little utensil bag with a hand towel and toothpick. I also recommend the onigiri (perfect snack). I’ll definitely be back soon!”

“I loved the atmosphere they created. They even went as far as to decorate the bathrooms with the same aesthetic. The mood setting was lovely, from the overhead lights to the mini tableside lamps, to the comfortable booths and chairs, the leather-bound menus, as well as the waiters kindness and amicableness. The 3 plates we ordered to share were perfect and quite delightful! Compliments to the prep cooks and chefs! I wouldn't change anything.The Mezza Platter Sampler was a perfect appetizer, my personal favorite was the Baba Gannouj. I loved the creamyness and slight tang that it had. But they were all a great try! We had it along with the Queen's Karak (hot saffron milk tea) and it was a perfect tummy warmer along with the freshness of the platter. It was quite aromatic and earthy and creamy all at the same time. Make sure to continuously stir, as it's hot and the spices fall to the bottom, making a delightful tongue punch to end the cup with.The "friday special" Lamb Shank Mandi was an absolutely delicious main entrée, with it's smoked lamb shank, aromatic rice, spiced and spicy dipping sauce and their vegestable stew. All the flavors mixed so perfectly together and filled us up quite nicely.We ended our lovely night in this cozy, beautiful atmosphere with a Date Cake & Ice Cream dessert. The nuts on top were a perfect flavor and crunch alongside the creamy, vanilla carmel ice cream, and the date cake underneath was a perfect pair to the rest of the dessert. Be careful ordering one; you'll get addicted and want more. I did, but unfortunately I was too full of the rest of the yummylicious Saudi Arabian food to get another. (Don't take the stick out of the ice cream, just eat around it carefully. It keeps the ice cream on top of the cake perfectly; no details forgotten.)Vegetarian options: There is one vegetarian appetizer that I saw and one vegan main entrée that I saw. The flavors and aromatics are to die for, so try it once, and if it's not the best, at least you tried it.Dietary restrictions: Dietary Restrictions? Bring your eating pants; everything is worth it and delicious.Parking: Free street parking after a certain point of time in the night; might have to walk a couple of blocks.Paid street parking during the day. If you can order and consume everything in under 2 hours, might be your best choice financially as the lots and garages are pretty pricey. Otherwise you can always move your vehicle and pay for another 2 hours on a different street.Paid lots and garages are scattered about along the streets. Current pricing is $6.00 first hour and $14.00 all day to my knowledge. Could change as years progress.Kid-friendliness: Well-behaved kids at this establishment... Not meant for the rowdy bunch. If you know, you know.Wheelchair accessibility: Completely wheelchair accessible; all on the first floor.”

“We showed up to Portland with a hungry track team of 40. We called Mother’s very last minute, and they were more than willing to accommodate us! We showed up and they had already set up seating for us, and were extremely efficient and kind with rounding up all of the orders. The food came out shockingly fast and was to die for. Me and one of the other coaches split the Mike’s Scramble and it was bliss after one bite. Even with the huge group, the staff was great about checking on everyone and making sure we all had drinks and were served.Overall it was a great experience during a very hectic trip to Oregon. I would highly recommend Mother’s to anyone who is visiting the area and give a huge thank you from Boise High Track & Field!”
