“Wow the food is great! Always enjoy going there, on more than one occasion we'd be turned away at the door because it was too late. I always took the closing time to be if you got there before it everything was fine. It must have caught a few people because on the door now is a last seating time, so a bit more clear. Another oddity is simply the feeling. Everything is measured, just an odd feel, didn't feel welcoming. Didn't feel cold shoulder either, just not the place you go when you just want something that feels comfortable.”

I usually do carry out and they don't skimp on the ingredients. Such a welcoming atmosphere by far the best brunch I've had!!!!! Thanks so much hen. On the side, no, I did used to have it when it was closer to Dundee. I'm glad that there's one in LO. It is so yummy!”

“An authentic hidden gem in Lake Oswego! Identical to what one might experience in Japan. Quaint place, spectacular sushi, rolls, and seaweed salad options. Would highly recommend this restaurant and establishment. As one who lived in Tokyo, this place is the real deal. We went here for a small birthday party, 4 people, ordered specialty rolls, sushi, and salads. Impeccable quality and atmosphere.”

“Couldn’t help but see a misinformed review-reply from management 2 months ago.Do not say the fish does not have additives or added color. That is false information. I don’t care about your MSC-certification. Be clear and be honest about your sushi.It is a farmed fish. It has added color. For example, more than any other fish on the menu, its the almighty “King Salmon.” Color added through the food pellets they consume in water-pens. Period. Look it up yourself folks. That beautiful color isn’t so natural. Neither is that fat content.You should really consider where you eat with misinformation floating around like this…Ps: You’re probably just doing your job, but this this is not OK as a customer.”

“Super cute spot in Westlake off the beaten path. The wine is wonderful and the owner is so nice and accommodating. My husband and I dipped really quick while our son was at basketball practice, and she was doing a wine tasting event, and even though her event was full and we didn't have reservations, she encouraged us to say, and I'm so glad she did. We learned a LOT about wine that night, and we got to take home some delicious new wine.”

“Went here for dinner with family and it was amazing. Best Persian food in town. The server was super friendly and gave us great service. The place was clean and they had a live DJ and belly dancer it was a great night to eat dance and enjoy some great Persian culture. I got the chicken barg soltani and it was delicious. This place has lots of parking so that was not an issue. I highly recommend this restaurant you will not be disappointed.”

“We recently dined for our Wedding Anniversary. I tasked my husband with selecting a spot we'd never been with great food and a casual atmosphere. While he would've happily taken me to an upscale establishment, we simply wanted to celebrate in a laid back way. He made reservations to sit in the bar and they were very accommodating. We ended up at the bar, which we prefer. The atmosphere is very unique with a lot of beautiful wood. The structure is what I think is an old house and includes quaint outdoor seating. Had the temp not been in the 90s, we would've definitely sat outside. The Bartender was friendly and helpful with menu selections. I enjoyed a martini and my husband chose wine. We began with crabcakes which were flawless! The Caesar salad was wonderful as well. It included more of the leafy part of the romaine where I prefer the hearts but small thing really. Our shared entree was Alaskan halibut which was prepared simply and beautifully. We were treated by the house to a small lava cake, topped with high quality vanilla ice cream and fresh berries and it was delightful! All in all, we would definitely return to Baird's on B. We could tell that many customers were regular locals and I can see why. What a cute place to be able to walk to. On a sidenote: a group of young ladies, under legal drinking age were seated at a table nearby and they ordered various mocktails. We watched the preparation and these drinks were works of art - including fresh muddled fruit. With a growing trend of adults choosing to forego alcohol, nice option!”

“Good food, nice atmosphere, excellent service.Definitely on the expensive side, easy to spend $100-150/person for one or two glasses of wine and dinner.My biggest complaint, as other reviewers have noted, is the lack of transparency on prices of wine by the glass. Recommendations are given without mentioning the cost, so you have to ask for a price after each recommendation, and you have to rely on recommendations, since there's not a printed list to refer to.Nice, but once was enough for me.”

“My wife and I had dinner here on Tom Grant Tuesday as Tom was playing music during dinner. It was great to see and hear him in action as he played at our reception over two decades ago. We had a chance to chat with him and snapped a photo. Dinner was great as was the service. We will definitely be back again on Tom Grant Tuesday!”

“Stopped in because of Portland Mercury Sandwich Week. They were offering the Kimcheesesteak sandwich. It was ok, what i beleive was American cheese didn't quite work for me. Also had the lettuce wraps, where the ground chicken filling was very tasty! Enjoyed the service, very friendly. The restaurant has 2 garage roll up doors that they can open when it's warmer out. They also have a nice bar. I'd definitely consider going back to try some of their other menu items.Parking: There is more parking on the side of the building”

“Our family really loves this pizzeria! They have the best wings and kale salad in addition to their pizzas. I love the garlic bread and we always order the Soprasetta And the Italian sausage pizzas to share.! This is our favorite pizza place!”

“We ordered the spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer. The dip and bread tastes good. The dip was unique with the spice they added.I ordered the Mama Calda pizza. Definitely a two or three person meal. I ate one slice and I was full. It was a bit too heavy on the cheese and toppings for me.My husband ordered the gnocchi. The flavor of the sauce was fantastic.”

“This place is really cute! The staff was super friendly, and the service was great. They even provided us with some complimentary appetizers. A really hospitable and kind vibe overall. The food is also nicely plated. Very conveniently located next to Beso Wine Bar, which we went to afterward to finish off the night. Great location in the downtown area.Vegetarian options: I'm vegetarian and they were very accomodating.They added tofu to the vegetable rolls even though it wasn't on the menu. Miso and Edamame were also great!”

“I'm so sad that Oven & Shaker changed their kale salad. I loved the old salad with the finely shredded kale, grapefruit, delicious dressing and crunchy bread crumbs. The new salad has large pieces of kale, a boring balsamic dressing, and way too many hazelnuts. It lacks the sweet counterpart to the bitter greens. The kale salad used to be one of the main reasons I came to O&S.”

Be sure to try the french fries and the barbecue pulled pork sandwich, they've been out of the barbecued pulled pork last few times I've stopped by should tell you how popular it is.Parking: Parking can be difficult to find at times depending on time of day and the spots are kind of small.”

“This is one of my favorite Lake Oswego staples. I started going here a few years ago for brunch and loved it. Now I go all times of the day. The staff are friendly, the food is great, and the space is clean/elegant inside but not over the top. You will be comfy in your spring brunch wear out on their patio. I love to stop in here for there Fried chicken, mac n' cheese, and greens!”

“Someone purchased Szechuan Kitchen for a group dinner and it was very good. I especially loved the green beans (great flavor and perfectly cooked) but the General Tso & Sweet & Sour were extremely good as well. Look forward to trying more dishes ...especially their hot pot.”

We ordered ahead and came when it should have been ready, but it took longer than planned, but the excellent pizza was worth the wait.Kid-friendliness: Half of the area that customers are allowed in is adults only(no minors). It was only mildly inconvenient.”
