“Fantastic dinner for 4! Dario, one of the owners, welcomed us as we sat down with amazing Italian enthusiasm. We went on a Sunday night, when they serve a variety of gnocchi dishes and pizzas. We had a caprese salad and the beets and truffle salad. Both delicious. We each ordered a different type of gnocchi dish. Co-owner, Sheena, helped us pick out a wine which went perfect with our meal. Dessert was great too. We are already planning to go back.”

“We're locals from Hillsboro and every few years we use our September anniversary as an excuse to get away from the kids and drink wine in Yamhill county. Every trip is to a different BnB and each day is spent discovering new vineyards.

This most recent trip we were keen on good wine with a view, and got no less than four separate recommendations to visit Penner-Ash. We swung by on a Saturday afternoon as walk-ins but were told they had no availability for tastings. We were offered bottle service but decided to make a reservation for Sunday morning to try again, and boy are we glad we did!

The view from the patio is absolutely amazing! The sommelier was charming and delightful! I'm a sucker for any opportunity to learn and she was an absolute treasure trove of knowledge about wine making, which meshed very well with the structure of our tasting: 3 wines, exactly identical but with different soil? Wow, I have been to dozens of these at other vineyards and never learned as much as I did here.

We will definitely make a point of returning, thanks again for such a wonderful morning!”

“Rex Hill Winery was an absolutely wonderful wine tasting experience! The setting is gorgeous, and the wines were outstanding—we enjoyed a flight of five, each one unique and delicious. What truly made the experience unforgettable was Zoe. She is passionate, knowledgeable, and has such a gift for explaining the wines in a way that is engaging and approachable. Her warmth and expertise elevated the entire visit and made it so special. We left not only with a bottle of wine, but also with a deeper appreciation for them thanks to Zoe’s care. Highly recommend Rex Hill Winery, especially if you’re lucky enough to be guided by Zoe!”

“This place is okay. The food is nothing fancy at all. Mediocre at best. But they're usually busy and it's nice to see a small business busy. I always feel bad for the staff. They constantly seem short staffed. It definitely limits the amount we order. We usually do one and done since they're always so overwhelmed. I could do without the political stuff too. But we like the pretzel and the soup and salads are good.”

“I have gone a couple times now. My friend and I attended Bingo night and it was so fun! It is a beautiful space and recently enjoyed the covered patio with 2 other moms with our young babies in their strollers and felt very comfortable and relaxed. I really enjoyed the Stoller 2022 Pinot Noir and my friend had the Chehalem Valley Chardonnay. They have a refreshing cocktail menu and I liked the Lavender Lemon Drop. The pork belly BLT was delicious!!! My favorite sandwich right now. They have a veggie sandwich as well that is loaded. Everyone in the group loved the cookies. I highly recommend this spot and looking forward to checking out some of their other event nights.”

“This restaurant has been on my mind since they opened. I drive by this unique establishment 5 days a week on my way to work. I finally ordered pizza to go today, and I wish I had decided to dine in. There is adequate outdoor seating but the indoor space is fabulous! Had I known, rather than call ahead I should have dropped in, ordered a cocktail while waiting for my food to be prepared, enjoying the ambience. The pizza is fabulous! Perfect crust and filling ratio is perfect. Leave room for the fabulous desserts. Looking forward to going back, but this time will dine in.”

“Long Brewing has some of the best quality beers. Made in small batches, they are elegant, classic brews that don't club you over the head with hops or malts. The subtle flavors are very balanced and satisfying. If you appreciate well-made beers, these are beers you can sip and each taste is better than the previous sip.The brewmaster and owner, Paul, is a super nice and smart guy who knows what he is doing.”

They offer tons of yummy snacks; blended drinks are refreshing on warm summer days! My favorite is Pina Colada with strawberry bobas! My taste buds literally explode from the flavor. Boba Fett would approve after a long day of bounty hunting!The dark haired lady is especially kind and hardworking, she for sure deserves a raise! She’s always cute and friendly too, as she blends you creamy ball drinks with a smile. You can tell the owner cares about providing a consistent, quick, and yummy in my tummy experience. “A shout out to Graham at Stumptown Taps! We had a group event there last night and it went super smooth. Reserving tables was easy. Although they don't serve food, you can bring in your own, or there are great options in the same parking lot (and some will bring your order to you -Taco Fuego does for sure) Their beer selection is great, and has unique options you don't see in stores. A big perk for beer nerds like me. Convenient for a group as you order individually at the counter, so everyone can close out when they want without the complication of splitting bills at the table. Also, a comfortable atmosphere to go solo too. If you haven't stopped in yet, you should! I will definitely be back!”

Also if you get a chance, buy a round of focaccia. They’re all SO good.”

“We can't say enough good things about Natalie's! We had a barrel tasting and was really impressed with everything we tried. Jeff made the experience highly customizable, taking our initial thoughts on what we enjoy and giving us the chance to try different levels of tannin, oak, age, etc. We brought home a Barbera an Malbec and wish we could have grabbed more. Worth every penny!”

“Our "koffee klatch" group was going to visit a small creamery just outside of Newberg, so we "made a morning of it." We met at the Coffee Cottage for a quick nibble and - obviously - a caffeinated beverage. This was one busy establishment! Both the walk-in and drive-thru portions were doing a land office business. They even sold out of some of their menu items (!). Fortunately, other options were available. The staff kept a very cheerful attitude throughout the hustle and bustle, an outward sign they work well as a team. We will definitely return.”

“Fantastic homemade ice cream with unusual flavors. Gluten free waffle cones and dairy free make it even more special. We bring our great granddaughter once a week from Tualatin to enjoy the delicious treat. Great way to spend time after a day of horse camp (that’s why she’s so dirty!).”

“I was a club member years ago when Dave and Mary opened this vineyard. I went back yesterday under the new ownership, Cooper Mountain, and it is still lovely with great tasting wines. I don’t like tannic reds or oaky Charonneys where as my boyfriend does. We both found wines we both enjoyed and some we each liked more than each other. Arborbrook continues with a very wide range of flavors!! They also are all organic and biodynamic, I highly recommend !”

The Human Bean Drive Through Cafe is sparkling clean: ❤ I had to long-neck to get a look inside from my vehicle window. ?No beverage spills or gunk at pick-up windows as seen in various other popular name drive-through cafes. I drove across the USA & Canada in my 2012, manual stick shift, glass-roof black Mustang in 2023, and frequently utilized drive-through cafes. All said, now back to home base... the Newberg, OR Human Bean outlet has outstanding staff who are experts at whipping-up the best beverages (hot & cold) and serves a super line of healthy (my opinion) snacks...all served with great humor and smiles!?”

“Whitney is the kindest barista I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her americanos are the absolute best in town, always the perfect drinking temperature. When we moved a couple years ago, I had to find a new coffee stand and this was recommended to me by a coworker whose husband had been going for years and loved it. I’m so glad that I took that advice. I often need a second cup of coffee in the morning during the dark months, and after two years of seasonal attendance on my part, Whitney still remembers exactly how I like my drink. 11/10 would recommend!!”

My fiancé ordered dinner combo #11 and mentioned that this is a time where every single item in his combo he absolutely loved. Not all restaurants can nail every single dish, but Lucky Fortune did. I ate the crab puffs which were perfectly crisp with a savory, creamy filling. The beef in the lo mein I ate was so tender that I could cut it with my chopsticks. Absolutely delicious. The egg rolls from my fiancé's combo was extra crispy and delicious, and the cabbage within was well seasoned. I mentioned how good it was to the woman working here and she said they make the crab puffs and egg rolls by hand daily. The commitment to quality, handmade food is something you can taste. We will definitely be back again.”

“On our way to the coast, my family and I stopped in here for dinner, and I was immediately impressed with the pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. We were seated quickly and our server was very attentive.

The food was amazing...my wife and I both had the daily special: a spicy chicken teriyaki bowl that had a lovely heat to it, the expertly grilled chicken and some of the tastiest crab Rangoon's I've ever had. (The Thai basil is a fantastic touch!) My kids loved it, too, which is an amazing feat, all things considered... ;)

“Very traditional Chinese American food. The service was excellent. We got a meal for 4 to go. The portions are very generous. While we waited I had asked for some soup I was really hungry. They generously provided me a cup of soup. The inside is not fancy, but they do have a nice bar (I did not go into the bar. But seemed decent enough) I would really recommend this place. STOP and get a meal to go for the coast. You won't regret it. Oh yes, its super affordable too!”

“I like the newberg location more then the mcminnville location but there's a language barrier issue and my orders are wrong more then they are right. If you can't speak good enough English to take an order correctly then have someone else who can!”

“I got a Greek salad (medium size). The lettuce has a lot of core chunks. There were plenty of toppings though and the Tomato Vinaigrette was tasty. The pizza crust is thin and crispy (not my favorite), the toppings are applied sparingly. I had ice tea and also tried the pear tea, both were very good.”
