“This restaurant has been on my mind since they opened. I drive by this unique establishment 5 days a week on my way to work. I finally ordered pizza to go today, and I wish I had decided to dine in. There is adequate outdoor seating but the indoor space is fabulous! Had I known, rather than call ahead I should have dropped in, ordered a cocktail while waiting for my food to be prepared, enjoying the ambience. The pizza is fabulous! Perfect crust and filling ratio is perfect. Leave room for the fabulous desserts. Looking forward to going back, but this time will dine in.”

“Rex Hill Winery was an absolutely wonderful wine tasting experience! The setting is gorgeous, and the wines were outstanding—we enjoyed a flight of five, each one unique and delicious. What truly made the experience unforgettable was Zoe. She is passionate, knowledgeable, and has such a gift for explaining the wines in a way that is engaging and approachable. Her warmth and expertise elevated the entire visit and made it so special. We left not only with a bottle of wine, but also with a deeper appreciation for them thanks to Zoe’s care. Highly recommend Rex Hill Winery, especially if you’re lucky enough to be guided by Zoe!”

“I have gone a couple times now. My friend and I attended Bingo night and it was so fun! It is a beautiful space and recently enjoyed the covered patio with 2 other moms with our young babies in their strollers and felt very comfortable and relaxed. I really enjoyed the Stoller 2022 Pinot Noir and my friend had the Chehalem Valley Chardonnay. They have a refreshing cocktail menu and I liked the Lavender Lemon Drop. The pork belly BLT was delicious!!! My favorite sandwich right now. They have a veggie sandwich as well that is loaded. Everyone in the group loved the cookies. I highly recommend this spot and looking forward to checking out some of their other event nights.”

“This place is okay. The food is nothing fancy at all. Mediocre at best. But they're usually busy and it's nice to see a small business busy. I always feel bad for the staff. They constantly seem short staffed. It definitely limits the amount we order. We usually do one and done since they're always so overwhelmed. I could do without the political stuff too. But we like the pretzel and the soup and salads are good.”

Boba Fett would approve after a long day of bounty hunting!The dark haired lady is especially kind and hardworking, she for sure deserves a raise! She’s always cute and friendly too, as she blends you creamy ball drinks with a smile. You can tell the owner cares about providing a consistent, quick, and yummy in my tummy experience. With so many food options at this community truck pod, Boba tea is always the perfect choice to wash down your meal hole with.Highly recommend your next family meal, hangout, date night, or refreshment pit stop at Bobablastic in the Newberg Food Truck Pod right in Historic Downtown!DOGS ARE ALLOWED!!!!!!!”

“A shout out to Graham at Stumptown Taps! We had a group event there last night and it went super smooth. Reserving tables was easy. Although they don't serve food, you can bring in your own, or there are great options in the same parking lot (and some will bring your order to you -Taco Fuego does for sure) Their beer selection is great, and has unique options you don't see in stores. A big perk for beer nerds like me. Convenient for a group as you order individually at the counter, so everyone can close out when they want without the complication of splitting bills at the table. Also, a comfortable atmosphere to go solo too. If you haven't stopped in yet, you should! I will definitely be back!”

The wines are more to my taste (bold, flavorful and striking) and stood out amongst any of the thin, pedestrian, unremarkable and terribly similar wines from any of the other 11 vineyards I visited during the course of my trip (head and shoulders above even some of the big, elite vineyards).”

Coffee was excellent and service was fast and friendly. Cute little trinkets to look at and purchase and lots of seating throughout to find a nook. A little warm inside as Newberg was having a heat wave, but understandable. Estimated time, 20 minutes and it was spot on. Worth the wait, food was fresh, hot and tasted just like I remembered. One of my favorite places to go when we come to Newberg.”

“Whitney is the kindest barista I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her americanos are the absolute best in town, always the perfect drinking temperature. When we moved a couple years ago, I had to find a new coffee stand and this was recommended to me by a coworker whose husband had been going for years and loved it. I often need a second cup of coffee in the morning during the dark months, and after two years of seasonal attendance on my part, Whitney still remembers exactly how I like my drink. 11/10 would recommend!!”

My fiancé ordered dinner combo #11 and mentioned that this is a time where every single item in his combo he absolutely loved. Not all restaurants can nail every single dish, but Lucky Fortune did. I ate the crab puffs which were perfectly crisp with a savory, creamy filling. The beef in the lo mein I ate was so tender that I could cut it with my chopsticks. Absolutely delicious. The egg rolls from my fiancé's combo was extra crispy and delicious, and the cabbage within was well seasoned. I mentioned how good it was to the woman working here and she said they make the crab puffs and egg rolls by hand daily. The commitment to quality, handmade food is something you can taste. We will definitely be back again.”

“Very traditional Chinese American food. The service was excellent. We got a meal for 4 to go. The portions are very generous. While we waited I had asked for some soup I was really hungry. They generously provided me a cup of soup. The inside is not fancy, but they do have a nice bar (I did not go into the bar. But seemed decent enough) I would really recommend this place. STOP and get a meal to go for the coast. You won't regret it. Oh yes, its super affordable too!”

“I got a Greek salad (medium size). The lettuce has a lot of core chunks. There were plenty of toppings though and the Tomato Vinaigrette was tasty. The pizza crust is thin and crispy (not my favorite), the toppings are applied sparingly. I had ice tea and also tried the pear tea, both were very good.”
