“We spent a week with another couple in Willamette Valley tasting wines at 20 different wineries, and Penner-Ash was definitely one of our top three favorite tastings!
The weather was perfect for us to enjoy tasting wine on the deck in the sunshine and with beautiful views of the winery and surrounding mountains. Our host Joseph was very knowledgeable about each wine presented, and answered all of our questions with ease. To top off the experience, we purchased an additional bottle of wine to enjoy with our picnic lunch in the grove at the winery. We enjoyed so many of the wines that we decided to have some shipped home, which arrived a few days after we returned, in perfect condition. If you are planning a trip to Willamette Valley wine tasting, this is a place that represents superb Oregon wines (12 single vineyards Pinot's, as well as great Sauvignon Blanc and Rose) and should be on everyone's list!”

“We did a vacation road trip and could only visit a couple of wineries on our way through to Portland. It was also a Tuesday which made it harder to find places that were open. We took a chance and stopped at Rex Hill and we are SO glad we did! The grounds and building are beautiful, the staff were friendly (specifically Zoe) and the wine was wonderful. We relaxed for a couple of hours outside, luxuriating in our tasting and chatting with our host, Gene (who was great). We also had the jamón ibérico board which was excellent. Thanks for making one of our few experiences in the Willamette wine region really memorable!”

“The JK Winery was our 1st stop on our williammette valley wine tour. This place is in the middle of nowwhere after miles if windy roads but we'll worth it. We got there late afternoon and there was nobody there.
Our wine tasting assistant was very nice and informative. I mentioned a couple times that my friends were wine club members for many years. She sneaked of and got the owner Jeff Carrie to come up and meet us.
Jeff was very gracious and spent a long time explaining all aspects of his vineyard. He drew graphs & charts and took us into the vineyard to taste the grapes and review the various processes.
His wines (pilots & whites) are delicious. JK Carrie Winery is well worth the drive.”

“I have gone a couple times now. My friend and I attended Bingo night and it was so fun! It is a beautiful space and recently enjoyed the covered patio with 2 other moms with our young babies in their strollers and felt very comfortable and relaxed. I really enjoyed the Stoller 2022 Pinot Noir and my friend had the Chehalem Valley Chardonnay. They have a refreshing cocktail menu and I liked the Lavender Lemon Drop. The pork belly BLT was delicious!!! My favorite sandwich right now. They have a veggie sandwich as well that is loaded. Everyone in the group loved the cookies. I highly recommend this spot and looking forward to checking out some of their other event nights.”

“This restaurant has been on my mind since they opened. I drive by this unique establishment 5 days a week on my way to work. I finally ordered pizza to go today, and I wish I had decided to dine in. There is adequate outdoor seating but the indoor space is fabulous! Had I known, rather than call ahead I should have dropped in, ordered a cocktail while waiting for my food to be prepared, enjoying the ambience. The pizza is fabulous! Perfect crust and filling ratio is perfect. Leave room for the fabulous desserts. Looking forward to going back, but this time will dine in.”

“I was so excited when BubbleBear opened, I think it’s such a fantastic addition to Newberg. It’s one of my favorite places to eat. The waffles are so delicious and toppings are top notch and so fresh! Every item I’ve tried has been a massive hit, I’m constantly talking about them and the new waffles I’ve tried to all of my coworkers (and pretty much anyone that will listen!). I love boba as well and every drink from BubbleBear is perfect through and through. 100000/10 recommend!!!”

“Renae made our wedding cake and cupcakes this past weekend and we were beyond impressed at how well it turned out. Our wedding cake was raspberry Pinot noir with white chocolate ganache, and looked and tasted beautiful. All of our guests raved about the cupcakes, and overall became the highlight of the night. We absolutely recommend her cakes and her service and will definitely be reaching out again for our daughters first birthday cake in the spring.”

“Long Brewing has some of the best quality beers. Made in small batches, they are elegant, classic brews that don't club you over the head with hops or malts. The subtle flavors are very balanced and satisfying. If you appreciate well-made beers, these are beers you can sip and each taste is better than the previous sip.The brewmaster and owner, Paul, is a super nice and smart guy who knows what he is doing.”

“If your in Newberg Nara Teriyaki has the best spicey chicken teriyaki for as long as I have gone there since 2008. If you go during lunch call your order in. If the phone is busy, call again. They have a large menu, but I have only ordered there spicey chicken teriyaki with white or brown rice and salad. It worth it. Parking can be scarce. I've parked a couple blocks away at least a dozen times during lunch time.”

I’m at the shop. I like to sit and study for hours on end and they’re always so supportive asking me if I need anything during my cram sessions. I like this location most in Newberg because it’s the most quiet, has an open atmosphere, and is warm and welcoming. Nice job crestview team :)”

“One of the few restaurants in the Sherwood / Newberg / Dundee area. Restaurant is unassuming bit offers plenty of comfortable seating and attentive service. Food is usually good to very good but can be inconsistent depending on the available cook. One of the few restaurants that sorted it's menu by cooking style (sesame, kung Pao, mu shu, etc) instead of main ingredient (beef, chicken, pork, etc) which simplifies ordering . It's not the very best Chinese restaurant in the greater Portland area, but it is among the best in this area”

“We've been going to Burgerville for many years. We love their fish and chips basket. It used to be Halibut, but now it's Cod. One of the employees told us, that we have overfished the Halibut. Sad, but the Cod is also good. We like it. And the Shakes are delicious too, plus all the other items. They also give you Senior Discount, which I want to point out, is very much appreciated 👏.
