I had a mixed experience at Boxwood Cafe. The food was delicious and the service was attentive, but I felt the prices were a bit high. What I ordered was cooked perfectly and had a great flavor. The server was very friendly and helpful, and she made sure that our drinks were always full. However, I felt that the prices were a bit steep. Overall, I had a good experience, but I would have liked the prices to be a bit lower.
A little pricey, my chicken was fairly tough, but tasted good, potatoes were delicious and cooked just right, green beans were fresh not canned, as were the mushrooms. Portion was good, although I could have eaten more ? ?

This place is low key great. I don't tend to eat at the hotel restaurants, perhaps a drink, but never food. This is actually one of the best burgers in Portland. For sure there chilaquiles is legit. Great little beer and cocktail selection. Worth it. I'd eat here without staying in this hotel.
