“I had lunch there yesterday with a friend and it was beyond our expectations. The food was delicious, and the portions were huge. We ordered the shrimp ceviche and steak fajitas and had leftovers enough for another meal. Also, the staff was pleasant and Betty, who is part of the Margarita Factory family, who gracious and took the time to talk with us. “We went to Cascadia for their Easter brunch, the first time Cascadia was doing this in a couple of years I was told. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with smiles and staff welcoming us, directing us where the brunch was taking place and seating us at our table. Serious kudos to the staff for their welcoming attitude. The brunch itself had excellent food with entire stations for appetizers, main courses, a carving station and of course dessert (see vid for the dessert station, yeh!). Added bonus points for photographers walking around taking pictures of people enjoying their meals with their families, the live music that was at the perfect volume to still enjoy conversations and the champagne/mimosas that were included in the price. We had a fantastic time and looking forward to making this an annual tradition.“

They were very accommodating as our party number grew while we waited for a table as more people showed we weren’t expecting. Staff offered to put our cake in the refrigerator for after dinner — so kind, and even sang to me and lit a candle when they brought the cake out. Highlight of our visit to Portland and visited twice in 2 weeks.The food was unbelievably tasty — they really didn’t compromise on Texan barbecue quality with their Thai focus. The white curry with brisket burnt ends was one of the best dishes I’ve had all year. The massaman lamb curry was phenomenal too.The cocktails (Shoulda Woulda Coulda and Life of Luxury) were unfortunately overly sweet and candy-like. I would skip them and just get a cold Singha draft or their alcohol-based slushies instead.We received cold service on our first visit but super friendly and attentive service on the second. We walked in with no wait on a Monday at 4:30pm and waited 1h30 on Saturday evening at a great wine bar across the street.“

“I had so wanted to come here for the Miracle Pop-Up, but I was too late to the game to get a reservation. I had read that they are reserving some tables for walk-ins, so we got there a few minutes after they opened. I already had concerns as there was already a small line forming, so I wasn't sure they could take us. Thankfully, they allowed us to sit at the bar. It was a fun spot, as there was only two of us, and we got to watch the bartender making all the festive drinks. He was very chatty and nice. I had the Marshmallow and Unicorn and my husband had Santa's Secrets, which was zero-proof. Of course, true to Miracle Fashion both were served in fun mugs/glasses. Of course all the staff and the bar looks like Christmas threw-up on it (in a good way), but what we really got a kick out of, was how well decorated the bathroom was. Even Hallmark movies you don't see decorated bathrooms. I can't recall ever taking a picture in a public bathroom, but this one was absolutely photo worthy.The bartender did mention we were smart to arrive early, and he was right, as when we were leaving I only saw two seats free. Word to the wise, unless you have a reservation I would not attempt to go here on the weekends through the end of the year unless your bring a lot of patience with you.“

From the smoked chicken wings, to the burgers, to the properly layered and piled high nachos, you will not be disappointed with anything you get on the menu. This is the must-order.Fried beef /w rice is very well cook and delicious.Lentil Soup is nice but the roti seems to be the frozen-type...not authentic for roti :)Beef masala skew is well made, taste very much like 'satay' in Malaysia:) and the fish is good.The restaurant is pretty small and limited tables, make sure you prebook!“

“This was my family’s first time eating at Mestizo and we were not disappointed. I have Celiac and my daughter has a severe dairy intolerance. For once, all 3 of us were able to order several dishes to SHARE! This never happens at restaurants with our many dietary restrictions. My non-GF/DF husband loved everything, too. Note: the entire restaurant is 100% gluten free and Celiac safe, but there is dairy present in some of the dishes. However, it was very easy for them to accommodate us by taking an ingredient off, etc. Our favorites were the fried shrimp, elote, fish tacos, and the chicken tinga tostados. The drinks were also amazing. The waitstaff is attentive and kind and our food came out super fast, but still incredibly fresh. The flavors are what put this restaurant over the top for me. Everything had a very specific (delicious) flavor that made the dish special. Do NOT miss out on the GF gem! (I suggest getting a reservation for weekend nights and possibly even weekday night.) “Went here on a Tuesday night and I'm super glad because it is fairly small. Thankfully not a lot of people came out at happy hour time for cocktails so there were only four other sets of folks in there with us. The noise level was perfect for me who is struggling with some minor hearing loss due to my 40 years of living. I like very simple drinks so I ordered an Old Fashioned. It was delicious. And they use Old Forester as their "well bourbon." I love Old Forester. Our server/bartender (doing both jobs) was very nice. He was patient with us. He also wanted to make sure I knew that the Brie was covered in a puff pastry since I said I needed cucumbers instead of bread. I have a gluten and dairy intolerance so there's not a ton of the menu I can eat. That's fine. I went for the booze. All in all it was a good experience. It's definitely not a place I would go on a Friday night. But I will definitely go back during the week. (I don't like bumping elbows with strangers. I'm too old for that crap.) I say if you like premium cocktails, you should totally try it.“

We tried the empanada plate that had a variety - each yummy. It's a combo of Peruvian and Colombian food - my dish, the sopa de costillo was beyond delicious. “Tini's was a fun cocktail experience! Came in with a few friends and ended up ordering 1 of everything within 4 flights. It was cool tasting all the fun recipes and flavors. Some of them were out there but still good to try. It was a great place to hang out and kill a few hours with some friends. They have a projector and games to play as well as some snacks! They also give you all the recipes for all the drinks so you can make them at home! Option to purchase their vodka too! Very cool place, I would definitely go back.“
