“I found this pub by googling darts in West Lynn. They have a nice dart board and a smaller sized shuffleboard, both tucked in the back in their own rooms. There's no charge to play. They have a decent selection of beers on tap and a non-alcoholic CBD option. I didn't notice the food or other drinks, but they had a few bottles of alcohol on display, so they do some cocktails too. We got gyros from the place next door. It's great that they allow you to bring food in! The owners weren't there that night, but Katie was managing the place by herself and she was very attentive and friendly. This is a great place to meet some locals at the bar, play some games, or watch some sports.“
“Things to dig about the Record Pub: - Music for every type of listener. -Bar to sit down for a drink and think about what records you need to add to your arsenal. -Staff to talk about your selections with. -Educated suggestions for additional beats based upon the ensuing conversation of music you’ll have with the bartender. -Finishing another beverage all happy and giddy about the new vinyl you’re taking home.“

“We ended up here on Mother's Day around 2pm. The breakfast/lunch crowd was mostly gone and shift change was happening. The covered picnic tables offered a great view and a nice breeze. The waitstaff were very friendly and attentive, but not distractingly so. We ordered drinks and they were delivered very quickly. I was not unhappy with my choice and I love the glass it was served in. We realized we were a bit hungry so we ordered of the appetizer menu. My husband got the curry vegetarian pastie and I ordered "Nessie Tenders" (chicken fingers, basically) with mashed potatoes. They bread and fry the chicken the same way, with the same ingredients (I think) as the fried fish they serve and it was DELICIOUS; really hit the spot. I could only eat three of the five although I nearly polished off those potatoes - garlic mashed with skin on - so good! Overall we were very happy we stopped by. We love the outdoor seating and to be honest, I've never seen the inside of the place! (Maybe this fall/winter, LOL.)“

“Cozy hometown bar. Very friendly staff. Huge selection of flavored Jello shots. Most drinks reasonably priced. Excellent food. Housemade ranch dip that is dynamite with the beer battered fries. Highly recommend this establishment. If anything this cozy place gets better everytime I return. Today, 4/15/2004, I revisted this wonderful establishment, and my expectations were more than satisfied. The duty bartender Nate is an old acquaintance, and his skills at cocktail preparation are very good. I only had a couple of drinks, but my White Russian, and Bay Breeze were very delicious and balanced.Parking: The basic parking area/lot is close and finding a place to park is almost never a problem.“

“It's kind of a idk, run down joint but the people that go there are really kewl and the bartenders are very friendly. I won 200 off of a twenty in one of their machines and now they are my favorite spot! I didn't eat there so idk about the food. Go there for the atmosphere!“

“Fantastic brews! So good that I had to order some bottles to go. Service was awesome. Our order was taken promptly, set up with condiments and silverware, food came out timely. A real chill and relaxed setting to enjoy some beers. The sandwich wasn't my favorite but I was there for the brews which exceeded expectations so no complaints.“

“The sandwiches and burgers here are so phenomenal I've been thinking about them for days after. There are a variety of beer styles -- not just IPAs -- and the beers on tap are excellent. If you're looking for a large tap list or frequent new things to try this isn't the place to go.“

“The best beer bar in Portland as far as I'm concerned.Welcoming atmosphere, friendly peeps, and GREAT beers, both on tap and packaged. Prices are extremely reasonable. There's usually a 3rd party food vendor, but you can also bring your own. And they've been open everyday for the last 5000+ days!If you like beer and/or bar culture, you should have already visited this place. But if you haven't, there's no time like the present!“

“Just moved to the neighborhood a few months ago and found this gem across the street. Didn't expect to feel so welcome at a bar where the walls have elk heads mounted along with old shotguns above the urinal. Never judge a book by it's cover. Try the chowder on Fridays and the collards on any day!“

“For a tavern type place this is 5 star. Small and quirky. Funky bar top, a pool table and a pretty diverse set of slots, this is a good midday stop. Cheeseburger, chicken fried steak, onion rings and tots were all good. Will swing by again when we are in the area.“

“Was in there this past week. Got pretzel app with a jalapeño cheese dip instead of a beer cheese dip listed on the menu. Whe I switched to mozzarella sticks, they were way overdone. Not a good experience although my friend enjoyed his chili and jalapeño poppers.“

“Not sure what you would expect from a pub and grill- the food was great, the service was great, and the atmosphere was that of a friendly, local bar. Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Have driven by this place for years and finally stopped in and I was NOT disappointed! Will definitely be back!“

“Met old friends here, they recommended the fish and chips, possibly the best I have ever had! One giant piece of fresh fish in a crisp batter.Parking: We parked two blocks away on the street, I could see it being more of an issue at popular times.“

“Hands down, best Prime Rib Dip (French Dip)of my life. Could take or leave the mozzarella sticks and fried pickles. But the prime rib dip so far out shadows the mediocrity of the sides that it deserves a 5/5. The huckleberry lemon drop was also exceptional and the vodka tonic fully met my expectations. But the Tuesday special prime rib dip was so good I’ll be back just for that! Service was also exceptionally responsive.Parking: Easy to find a spot on a Tuesday night“

“Just moved to the area I live half a mile away thought I’d try the place expected a hole in the wall, but was pleasantly surprised. Walked in and was greeted immediately by a nice smile and the lovely bartender. Her husband is the cook. His name is Bob and I apologize I can’t remember her name. They cooked my fish the way I like it light gold brown. It was lightly breaded and tasty! atmosphere was light and inviting. I will definitely be back weekly.“

“Absolutely love this place. The bartenders are incredibly friendly, engaging, happy, and very helpful and accommodating. I've been here quite a bit in the last year and have been very satisfied with the energy. They keep the place clean, there's plenty of people that cycle in and out, machines to gamble on, and a single pool table. The bartenders make this place shine and it feels very notable. When I think about places to grab a beer in sellwood I think of this place and one other.“

“Delicious food and really good tater tots.Hostess was really kind. I'm vegetarian and wasn't paying attention when I ordered and accidentally got a beef burger. Even though it was entirely my fault, when the hostess found out, she insisted on taking the burger back and getting me an impossible burger. I felt bad for letting her do that, but I really appreciate it and I will definitely be back with friends!Vegetarian options: Impossible burger is offered for $3 extra on any burger.Parking: Normal parking lot in the back facing away from the road, but there's extra parking in the garage to the left when you get off the main road. Plenty of parking.“

“We are fortunate to have this place as our local public house. With almost 70 beer/cider/wine/etc taps, a whiskey bar/steakhouse downstairs and Ranch and Tamale Boy upstairs, it's hard to justify going anywhere else. Service is great, plenty of TVs, patio heat and fire pits, clean taps, good list rotation, and sometimes you can find Alchemist cans and Russian River bottles for sale to go. If it was walking distance from our house it would be perfect :-) I don't do video lottery but they have that if that's your thing“

“Excellent pizza, especially if you're gluten free. I love crispy thin crust pizza. Understandable if that's not your jam though. Everything for the pizza is made in house and the owners take a lot of pride in their food. The beer selection is pretty great. They have other options than just a wall of IPAs. Rootbeer usually on tap too!Vegetarian options: Most of the pizzas can be vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Gluten freeWheelchair accessibility: Double doors and flat. Should be pretty accessible!“

“Top-notch bar burger. In our New World of $16-$20 hamburgers, this place stands out as being an actual good value for the money. When I want a good top shelf hamburger, this is where I go. I bashed the Verdict food cart for their burger being just average for the money. This is the place I'm comparing it with. Way better.“

“I grew up on Gubanc's and was pleasantly surprised to see that 25 years after I left the area its charm and outstanding food still remain. As always the soup was delicious. I was elated to see that the soup board was still on the menu. The interior of the place looked basically unchanged, yet didn't feel old or dingy. Now that Stanfords is gone I'lldefinitely be making this a regular stop when I'm in town.“
“This place is incredible! However, I'm gonna give it a 4.8 out of 5. Mostly because their soda water doesn't have enough bubbles. I mean. When you think about it, shouldn't soda water have the right bubble to liquid ratio, or is it just me. At any rate, this place is great! Just can't get over the soda water. Man... like. Ugh. When someone finds the right place to get soda water, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD LET ME KNOW!!!“

“Breakfast is decent. The wait to get your food isn't long at all, average on a very busy day. This place is frequently wall to wall packed. Very kind service, it feels like a family owned environment. I wish they had more selection for breakfast. There isn't much selection“
