“Loved our Mother's Day dinner. Especially enjoyed being in the smaller wine room. We thoroughly enjoyed the double cut lamb chops which I was able to share with my husband. We were sorry that there were no baked potatoes, but the creamed spinach and mashed potatoes were very good. Love Capital Grille in Naples, FL and Pittsburgh restaurant is equally good! ??“

“My Wife and I have been to pretty much every high-end Steak restaurant in Pittsburgh and the Vandal consistently has the best Steak we have had. We had the Tomahawk Ribeye for two and it was extremely tender, succulent and tasty. I believe the Vandal's ability to consistently provide the best steak experience is due to the Sous Vide cooking of the steak initially, with a grill or sear before service. And don't forget about perfect twice fried frites! Everything was great as well as great service.“

I tried the giggle water cocktail, which had gin, lemon, pear, cardamom, and prosecco. I really enjoyed it and found it to be the perfect balance of sweet and bubbly. They also serve food and some desserts but we did not try them this time. Pro tip: there are also a few parking spots across the street in a small lot reserved specifically for customers of allegheny wine mixer if you are having trouble finding parking on butler street. Overall a great spot for drinks in Lawrenceville!“
