Downside is they don't sell many energy drinks but have some unique sodas. They also have a place to sit inside. A deli wrap here is $6 compared to other places in town which are $10-12. I'll be a regular here.“

Decided to try to the steak egg and cheese bagel for breakfast and when i first opened up the sandwhich and saw the cheese oozing out i knew it was gonna be the best steak egg & cheese bagel i ever had and it was. “Everything about this delii was on point. It brought back memories of my days as teenager working in a Jewish bakery! Every baked g I I'd was just as I remembered. Our delicious sandwiches were humongous. My husband and i grew up in Philky and never knew this deli existed, what a treat as we were visiting for a wedding. Everything was fresh. Almost hidden in the Jewelers' Row District is a small, hole-in-the-wall sandwich shop that will have you leaving with a big impression: their hoagies are just fantastic! I ordered a 10" roast beef hoagie with lettuce, onion, tomato, hot peppers, provolone, and mayo, and almost had difficulty finishing it because the sub was packed! Everything tasted fresh, and I was pleasantly surprised that the hot peppers actually had some heat to them.Pam, who rang me up, is a very sweet person, and the shop is run by her and Joe. The owners recommend calling in to place orders as it takes some time to slice everything fresh, and today they actually sold out early afternoon as I was finishing my hoagie. “Great little place in south Philly a few minutes from I-95. Parking is a little tough. There is a small lot nearby. The SMALL steak is HUGE. $20 for a steak, coleslaw, and a drink. Cash only. I was there mid-afternoon and there was a line. Food came out fast. There was a picture of Babe Heffron and Bill Guarnere (101st Airborne) over the counter. When I said something, the entire group became incredibly friendly and shared a few stories about them.“

The italian had a great variety of quality meats and had a perfect ratio of meat to toppings. The OMG cutlet was simple but tasty- we chose the grilled version and it was like a caprese salad in a hoagie. Would return for sure to try another style. They were nice enough to add grilled mushrooms when I asked. I really enjoyed the home made croutons that came on the salad as well. I don't think this neighborhood deli gets the credit they deserve. The menu is packed full with wonderfully deli items both hot and cold. If your looking for a great meal, skip the the grease pits and crappy corner stores. And order something from here. “4 minutes ago NEW Today I ordered a hoagie through grub hub, but when I received my order there was a mistake. After a quick call to the deli I was able to speak with one of the employees (who was very nice, professional and apologetic even though I know we all make mistakes and there were no hard feelings) but she and the manager were able to correct the order and even redeliver themselves! When I received the correct order and opened the bag they had a very sweet message with a nice treat to enjoy later. I rarely leave reviews and I feel as though most people focus on the negatives but this time I wanted to really highlight GREAT costumer service and their delicious food!
