“The best Pho I’ve had in the city. It’s cash only but they have an ATM there. One of the biggest appeals for me other than the food is that they always seat you immediately and bring out your food practically as fast as you order it. It’s also at a good price point. Depending on when you go parking is usually hard to find so you’re probably better off parking on the street nearby.Parking: Depending on when you go parking can be hard to find. I would suggest looking for street parking as you get close.“

“Absolutely delicious! Nan Xiang's soup dumplings are a must-try. The flavors are authentic, the dumplings are delicate, and the broth is flavorful. Highly recommend for any dumpling lover! I also would like to mention how attentive and caring our waiter Eric was! Thank you so much, Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings made my day!“

“I have a gluten allergy and the menu is very user-friendly for those who have to navigate those options. Haven't had general tsos chicken in YEARS and I was ecstatic to see that I was able to have a gluten free version. Absolutely delicious and will be going again soon.“

“Found amidst other small businesses and shops in the heart of Bryn Mawr, Yamazaki Ramen might just be the cozy culinary hideaway your taste buds need. It's a modest space, sure, but what it lacks in grandeur, it compensates with a soul-warming embrace, a friendly nod, and bowls of ramen that could easily steal the show in any food lover's heart. Now, let's talk about the star of our gastronomic journey--the Yamazaki Special ramen. This bowl is more than just a meal; it's a warm embrace on a cold day, a melody of flavors that sings a harmonious ode to traditional Tonkotsu ramen. With its rich pork-bone soup, tender roast pork, and an ensemble of bamboo shoots, kikurage mushrooms, red ginger, scallions, and a perfectly poached egg, it's a dish that doesn't just satisfy hunger; it nourishes the soul.Alongside this noodle nirvana, we ventured into the realm of the Gyudon Rice Bowl. Here, we found a comforting assembly of sliced beef, onions, and pickled ginger atop a bed of rice, all gently hugged by a sweet dashi sauce. The seasoned boiled egg added a nice touch, though the dish played more of a supporting role to the show-stopping ramen. It's still a solid choice for those craving a bit of variety, offering a satisfying culinary experience.Yamazaki Ramen stands as a testament to the joys of simple, heartfelt cooking. In this unassuming spot, you'll find dishes crafted with care, flavors that linger long after the last bite, and a reminder of the quiet power of a well-made bowl of ramen. So, if find yourself in Bryn Mawr and in search of a quick & tasty bite, Yamazaki Ramen checks all of the boxes.“

“The best vegetarian Pho I’ve had in a long time. As well, the seafood Pho is awesome. They have a great take out setup.“

“This place is just recently opened and received pretty good reviews, so I decided to try it out.everything we ordered was tasty with a generous portions, but the flavor was just too sweet for me and my boyfriend. I know Thai food is sweet, but this is another level of sweet. And the coconut noodle soup, it has no flavor and tasted so coconuty. It would have been better if they use rice noodle or glass noodle instead of vermicelli noodle. The ambience is plain, but it looks new and clean. The color of the building looks unattractive in my opinion.Service is good, but it takes awhile for the food to come out. They seem to be more busy with takeout orders.Overall, a decent Thai food with good portion and reasonable price. Tip: pay in CASH, you’ll get 5% off and they also accept Venmo.“

“forget the ambience; it's sketchy in the best way... we've ordered bahn mi twice now and they were consistent, fairly priced, and delicious... tonight we got pho for take-out and it was fantastic... the scalding hot broth comes separate from the noodles and any proteins to be poured over top once you're ready. the hot sauce is hot and the jalapeños are not your baby-stuff-for-babies. these folk will stay on our list.“

“Took advantage of a Too Good to Go (get the app!) offer while on vacation in Philly. So glad I did. The pasta was perfect and the pesto absolutely ruined me for all other pestos. Seriously, I have contemplated the 3 hour drive for just that pesto. Super friendly staff as well!“

“Food is fantastic. Asked for 3 out of 5 spice and was pleasantly treated with balanced fire thru my mouth. Portions are huge. Flavors brilliant. Just a few tables so expect to take out if possible. One of the chefs I said hi to didn’t answer. Apparaently he doesn’t speak English. Authentic Thai straight out of Bangkok I’d say!“

“Excellent Thai food. We ordered chicken spring rolls and chicken satay for appetizers. Spring rolls were crunchy and flavorful and the satay was spicy and sweet. The chicken Pad Thai was very tasty and the presentation was beautiful. Just don’t sit by the door if it’s cold out, customers tend to leave it open. They could benefit by putting a automatic door closer on that door.“

“This place is legit. Spicy, but they nail the spice level exactly what I wanted (your mileage may vary). Fast service, nothing special but very polite. The dining room has a college area vibe, stripped down and simple but clean. It's all about really good, fresh, well-executed, spicy Sichuan food. I'm a fan!“

“Probably the best Cantonese food you'll find in the center city Philly area. The taste to price ratio is excellently high. The barbecue meats are the best here. If you go, definitely order them at least. Service was fine, don't really care as the food is excellent. Standard restaurant atmosphere nothing noteworthy.“

“This was my first time trying Humpty’s Dumplings. They were at a local craft show at my church. I tried the cheesesteak dumpling, spinach and cheese and chicken and dumplings. They were absolutely delicious!!!!! Hot and fresh right out of the fryer. Highly recommend you try them. Looking forward to finding them at another location.“

“I lived in China for almost 7 years and this place is the real deal! I was missing authentic Chinese food so much and I finally found it here in The States! The place is small so be aware if you’re planning on bringing a big group. There’s only one toilet and it was a bit sketchy. Although that added to the authenticity of the atmosphere. It transported me back to China. It was surreal!Parking: If you come from out of town like us, you will need to pay for parking at the many public parking lots in this area. The one we found charged us $24 per 2 hours. It was very close to the restaurant, maybe 5 minutes walk. Very convenient. Stress free.“

“There are some selective eaters in my household and the Pho Tai (pho w/ rare steak) is always a hit. We order takeout and the food is packaged very well. The broth stays extremely hot, and the steak and fresh garnishes are packed separately. The Banh Mi Thit Nuong (grilled pork) and Banh Mi Bo Nuong (grilled beef) are also tasty. Very fresh ingredients.Vegetarian options: At least one option in every category.“

“Great food! Easy walk from convention center! Enjoy!“
“Noodles are on the softer side that I like Shimiao more. Tomato soup is very yummy and I also think it is from real tomatoes instead of pre packaged. This is a big plus coz my whole family love tomato flavored soup. The spicy one is very spicy but watery, lack the thickness of beef broth. I am also not a fan of the type of beef they call beef brisket, nor the shrimp. The beef brisket Shimiao has is homemade real stewed brisket. The shrimp tastes pre frozen vs fresh. They were super nice to order me another soup base which is pickled. It is better than the spicy one but tomato is still better. Their gyoza is very good that I could eat three orders myself. Service is very friendly. Ambiance is nice too, although I wonder if it works with the hotpot tables layout. Everyone was trying their best to hear feedback, which is very precious nowadays. I think I will wait for them to improve and then come back to try more. Best of luck and I do wish it successful! It is good to have a second spot for rice noodles!“

“I have never been here before as I live in another state that doesn't have this restaurant. But I love salads and the menu looked interesting. Dined inside and thought it was bright and roomy inside. I got a shrimp Cobb salad and thought it was really good. I enjoyed the dressing and the ingredients were fresh. My friend also got the apple dessert and it was so good! I would definitely come here again.“

“Great customer service. I was here a few weeks ago and the gentleman who helped me was very friendly and knowledgeable. I had asked for a few Szechuan sauces, and he gave me two excellent choices. When I was leaving, he addressed me by my first name and said goodbye and good luck. Thanks guys!“
