“Hadn't been in years but glad to have returned. Started with house white wine and a cocktail for hubby. Shared their Caesar salad, then we each had a pasta entre: ravioli with butternut squash and linguin with clams. Also shared a mushrooms side and foccacia. All the food was delicious! Ended with sharing a cannoli and a cappuccino. Overall great experience in a romantic setting (2-person booths in the lower level) with an our wonderful server Rachel.“

“Citizens bank is a great venue to watch the phillies or a concert, but I took my wife, daughter and her fiance to the phillies game on a beautiful Sunday afternoon all total it cost me over $500 between tickets, food and parking, it is ridiculous. The only soda available was a $10 collection cup of Zac Wheeler who pitched that afternoon no other options, it's ridiculous you aren't allowed to bring anything in then you're given no options but a $10 soda. Why am I forced to buy a collection cup for $10 no throw away cups, no small, medium or large one cup one size one price smh. I shouldn't have to pay a mortgage payment to take my family to what's suppose to be America's past time, they should rename it the elites past time because the normal working man or woman can't afford it.“

I was hosting some out-of-town visitors and we enjoyed between the three of us, two plates of pasta and a caprese salad and it was more than enough food and we also enjoyed our red and white BYOB wines. Afterwards we went down a block Dirty Frank's on the corner of 13th and Pine for a nightcap which completed a full circle Philadelphia experience.“

“It is hard to articulate the artistry that went into the creation of my very special birthday cake but the Night Kitchen Bakery did it. I had a special birthday this year and some great friends were flying in to help me celebrate. I had traveled with these friends and had many wild experiences, one of which was a very specific picture this fantastic bakery not only replicated flawlessly but made it oh so much better. Yes the cake photo attached is a cake - a DELICIOUS mocha cake that was as good as the artistry was on the outside. If you want a delicious cake, they're the place to go to. I am amending my review in light of their response because it shows that they do care for patrons and our concerns. i will not contact further because i did not post the review for some freebies but for the principle of appropriate response to customer concerns.I recommend ANY of their cupcakes because they are always on point. their cookies are big and beautifully delicious. cinnamon roll is good. iced coffee hits the spot!i’ve had the hangover sandwich, the mccrumb, waffle hash and breakfast burrito and i just find it really awesome that they feature other vegan restaurants food. that’s innovative and great for trying different options with each bakery purchase.if you love cannolis get the large otherwise the mini will do the trick!chocolate and confetti cake are a GREAT gift for any last minute parties!parking sucks but there’s nothing the business can do about it. i would do dine in more often if there was easier parking in the area because the decor is very fun. they take apple pay.Snippet of my original review:i buy here very often. i buy cakes for birthdays, uber eats for delivery and do pick up.for the first time, i had an issue and i told an employee and their response was indifferent. “The BEST cream filled doughnuts I have ever had. The filling itself is light and creamy with just the right amount of sweet. The texture of the doughnut was exceptionally well done as well. The peanut butter cream filled doughnut had peanut butter mixed in with the cream filling, the Nutella just has Nutella spread on top. Plenty of variety even in cream filled doughnuts. The flavor of the blueberry fritter was top 2 for a non-apple fritter. Not as heavy and crispy as I like a fritter though.Choosing from 2 cases of minimum 30 doughnut 0 do not recommend.Eating any variety of doughnut they have: 10/10 would recommend going every day for 2 weeks to try them all and enjoy favorites. “I lived in Seattle for almost two decades and will admit to being a bit of a coffee shop snob. The Nook hits so many of my high points. Extremely good locally roasted coffee (in-house!). Amazing baked goods. The cocoa coffee bread must be tried, but leave me a slice! Great staff. If I ever move out of the neighborhood, I'll journey to the Nook for a great cup and bite.“

It's a rare occasion when you feel like you're really having an absolutely special moment in a restaurant, but this place is the real deal! “I live in South Philly and didn't even know this place existed. A friend told me about it and said it was good so I ordered from GrubHub and mannnn it did NOT disappoint! So much goodness in flavor and portion size. I tried the beef todero and tequeños and both were 10/10. I can't wait to try their arepas! My grandfather immigrated to Venezuela before coming to the US and used to make us some and haven't had any since. Looking forward to trying more.“

“This is a fantastic brunch spot. Although they don't take reservations, we only had to wait a few minutes for a table to be arranged and cleaned. I ordered the crab Benedict, which featured perfectly poached eggs. The bread, thicker than a traditional English muffin, complemented the dish well. It was served with standard potatoes. The highlight was the Butter Pecan pancake with caramelized banana—possibly the best pancake I've ever had, though crispy edges would have made it even better. I also ordered orange juice, which was good but less impressive due to the pulp. Overall, I highly recommend this place for brunch and am looking forward to returning.“
