“Came here at 8:30 on a Friday night with my family and the place was surprisingly empty. Ahmed, the owner, gave us a warm welcome and prompt service. He gave us several recommendations (we ordered them all) and every dish was great. We got the branzino, the lamb chops, the half grilled chicken, hummusand mishwia. While every dish was truly tasty, my two favorites were the branzino and mishwia. I told Ahmed it was my parents anniversary and he gave us tea and baklava on the house. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone. The food, the hospitality, and the service is top notch.“

“Great venue to watch a game. Beautiful views of the city. Plenty of restaurants and snack bars to find almost anything you would like to eat. Came on Hatfield Dollar Dog night so I cheaped out thus time. It was a cool evening that turned chilly then pretty cold because of the wind speeds and openness of the stadium. Philly staff get 5 star rating very friendly extremely helpful and courteous. The game was entertaining with a few homeruns 2 for Texas and one for the home team. Too bad the Phils lost 6 to 4. Philly Phanatic is such a blast!!!! A great place to bring the family to watch a ballgame.Saw a great game a little boring low scoring Phils 1 Mariners 0. Fastest game I was ever at if not it was 1st game I ever went to at Connie Mack Reds 1 Phils 0. Phillies let the ump beat them today. Another win by the Phils.“

“Had “The Paesano” from Paesano’s in Philly yesterday. This is in the Italian market area of South Philly which I love (aside from finding parking) and the people who worked here were all super friendly and helpful.I posted a picture with the ingredients for this one. This had a flavor that I’ve maybe never tasted before all wrapped in one. I enjoyed how it all played off each other (I could eat pepperoncini on anything and be happy too) and the roll was wonderful.Unfortunately I will say that the brisket was a bit tough, which surprised me. I believe it was cut on the wrong angle but there were multiple bites where I really had to tear at it. Had this brisket been as tender as it should have, I’d put this sandwich up against most sandwiches in the city…and I mean that. Put a properly trimmed and roasted brisket on this one and it’s up there with the best roast pork’s and cheesesteaks around imoDefinitely Didn’t Suck, but did leave room for improvement for sure.Check out video and more content on this spot and many others on my social media pages here - https://linktr.ee/Didnt_Suck“

“The BEST cream filled doughnuts I have ever had. The filling itself is light and creamy with just the right amount of sweet. The texture of the doughnut was exceptionally well done as well. The peanut butter cream filled doughnut had peanut butter mixed in with the cream filling, the Nutella just has Nutella spread on top. Plenty of variety even in cream filled doughnuts. The flavor of the blueberry fritter was top 2 for a non-apple fritter. Not as heavy and crispy as I like a fritter though.Choosing from 2 cases of minimum 30 doughnut 0 do not recommend.Eating any variety of doughnut they have: 10/10 would recommend going every day for 2 weeks to try them all and enjoy favorites. Stateside Vodka Bar • $$
1700 N Hancock St, Philadelphia

“We had time for a quick cocktail before dinner reservations and headed to Stateside. We were so glad that we did - we had such a great time. I loved the industrial, yet comfortable feel of the building and the staff was so helpful. We loved the variety of cocktails and could barely choose between them, in fact for my first drink I went bartender's choice (and it was delicious). The cocktails were only $10 and there were so many infused vodkas to choose from! We didn't eat anything but they had some quick-cook snacks available that looked really fun!We had such a good time before dinner, when we heard other friends were in the area, we spontaneously met them back at Stateside after dinner for more drinks! We can't wait to go back and try more!“

“The crepes are great, and there are plenty of good vegetarian savory options, especially looking at the build your own option. The side salad is a highlight! We also tried the French toast crepe, which has an egg incorporated into the batter. Interesting. The espresso is good but the cappuccino is weird; they don't pour the milk through the crema at all, so it's mostly foam on top of a single shot. It can be folded through but I think next time I'd just get an espresso here. I really like that they have reusable cutlery and crockery, and service is brisk even when they're crowded. They also have a bunch of pastries if you're looking to grab and go. No parking lot but free street parking up to two hours. Friendly staff.“

“The staff was absolutely amazing, Annie was super friendly and kind. Our first time visiting Philadelphia and she recommended several places to check out in brewery town. This place has a great selection of beer and lavish cocktails. The food was amazing, I really loved the pork burnt ends. The pho was delicious, fish and chips were nicely battered and tasty. I will be back and I recommend you give them a try!“

“Stopped by here for a quick breakfast during Wrestlemania 40 weekend. You order and pay up front and they'll bring the food out to your table. I ended up getting the falafel burger, which was good, but fell apart a lot. The table I sat at was quite dirty and found a small piece of hair.“
