“I owe Nonna Rosa in Bridgeport a stellar review after the dozens of times my family has ordered their food for both pick-up and delivery, it is our go-to for takeout. Their food is fantastic, a step up from any other regular pizza joint. The menu is expansive, leaving you with tons of options depending on what you are in the mood for. In addition, we have only had one instance where we didn’t receive our complete order, and given the fact we have ordered from them dozens (and I mean dozens) of times, that is impressive. The food is always good, the staff is always polite, would recommend“

“I've read some of the negative comments on here and really cannot understand why the reviewers had negative experiences. I've been there three times in the last couple of months, and each time the food and the service was outstanding. Kudos to Jason, an assistant manager who was helping out waiting on tables this past Wednesday. This man was the best! His personality, desire to please, and excellent service were amazing - and helped make the meal as enjoyable as it was. First of all, the complimentary garlic knots served with dinner were, by far, the best I've ever had. They were served warm, right out of the over - and were not overflowing with grease or too much garlic. They were truly perfection. We were even asked if we wanted more during our meal. A complimentary salad is also included with a dinner entree. The salad was fresh, well-made, and delicious with the home-made balsamic vinaigrette. There were a variety of lettuces, olives, tomatoes, etc. I enjoyed the salad just as much as the delicious meal. For an entree, I ordered the chicken parm with a side of rigatoni pasta. I had ordered it on a previous visit, and it did not disappoint - so I had to try it again. Once again, it did not disappoint. The portion size was great, and the chicken parm itself was delicious. The sauce made the dish; I cannot praise their marinara sauce highly enough. The rigatoni were also superb - cooked al dente, and drenched in the delicious sauce. Amazing! My dining buddy enjoyed the rigatoni with Italian sausage, which he said was just as delicious as my entree. The fact that both of us finished every morsel of food on our plates should speak for itself, as far as the quality and taste of the food. Based on how good everything was in the restaurant, I even ordered a spinach calzone to take home and enjoy the next day. Needless to say, I enjoyed every bit of that as well. In my opinion, this restaurant/pizzeria is a Bridgeport gem. If you have not yet tried it, and are in the mood for some quality Italian food at reasonable prices, give it a try. I really don't think you will be disappointed. Jason, I hope you are working the next time I'm in (which will be within the next couple of weeks, for sure), as your outstanding service, despite your being as busy as you were that night with the phone ringing off the hook, etc., contributed a great deal to the enjoyment of our meal - which as I mentioned, was truly 5 stars!“

“I went for takeout for a quick lunch and was so impressed. I had their daily special cold sandwich which had mozzarella and mortadella with balsamic and a chocolate custard which was amazing. “You know this place is popular when there are people waiting outside the door at 9am right before this place opens. It was my first time here and upon arriving, 2 people were waiting to get in and 3 more trickled in minutes later. A line started to form and people are trying to get the tomato pie. I place an order for the regular tomato pie a few days ago over the phone but when I went to pick it up they didn't have my name. Luckily they had extras so I didn't have to order another. My friends really enjoyed the tomato pie so it's definitely as good as people say. Just be sure to double check the day before if you placed an order with them.“

“Came in with a party of 4 around 2pm on a Saturday and it was still pretty packed with people. We ordered the Bangin' cutlet as we saw on a reel that it was sold over 40,000 times. We were expecting it to be more a traditional chicken parm sandwich, but it was on the sweeter side because there's hot honey on it which was an unusual twist. I personally liked it, but the other party members weren't as big of a fan I think the sweetness threw them off. That said, the chicken was perfectly cooked, and the fries were pretty solid. The price was pretty reasonable, I would come back and try other items. The food came out pretty fast, but the service could've been a bit better, we asked for ketchup, and they never returned.“

“Polite and professional staff. A great menu selection. When reserving a table, make sure you select a specific section of the restaurant. Nice portions for the entrees. Make sure you leave room for desert.On Sunday nights, they have a red sauce Sunday where menu items on the daily menu that usually do not have red sauce are served with red sauce. “This was my 69th birthday dinner with my son … he chose the restaurant and it was perfect … we sat outside … Andy was the waiter who took care of us and he was fabulous … attentive and he genuinely cared that our meal was perfect … we started our meal with the Burrata Appetizer … it was fantastic and very fresh … for the second course we shared the Pappardelle and let me tell you it was one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had … for dinner my son had the Chicken Milanese which he enjoyed a lot … I had a special for the evening Atlantic Char over Mashed Potatoes & Spinach … a really flavorful main course … perfectly prepared … we had Pellegrino Sparkling Water with our dinner which brought back memories of visiting Italy a couple times … very reminiscent … for dessert there was Cannoli & Chocolate Mousse Cake with Espresso … the perfect Birthday meal … I highly recommend this restaurant … if you are undergoing Cancer Treatments like I am this is a restaurant to visit to lift your spirits to the universe … LIVE LIVE LAUGH & EAT ALWAYS … ?????“

“One of Philadelphia's charms is its wealth of neighborhood bistros representing regional Italian cuisines. Core de Roma is such a restaurant. Arrive early, as we did, before the place begins to fill up, and you'll meet Luigi, a loquacious, bushy-eyebrowed native of Trastevere who exudes justified pride in his food and his restaurant.This quirky BYOB, perched in the prosperous hills of Bala Cynwood, greeted us with warm, freshly baked bread accompanied by a plate of olive oil, sage, and white beans for dipping. Many delights followed: abundant, freshly made fettucine alla Bolognese; creamy, al dente spaghetti caccio e pepe; a simple, voluptuous tiramisú. Not everything was perfect; such a good restaurant should offer a decent espresso. Still, the pleasures of a small family restaurant, aspiring albeit uneven, far outweigh its odd deficiencies. The left-over fettucine was even better the next day, reminding us to return soon. See you there.“

“I came here for dinner with my husband after going to the King of Prussia mall. We had a caprese salad and mozzarella sticks, followed by two 12-inch pizzas. Everything was delicious. The pizza dough was light and flavorful; the ingredients tasted fresh. I am particular about my tomatoes when it comes to caprese salad, and the tomatoes here were juicy and again, flavorful. The service was warm, and the "family spirit" of the restaurant was obvious. The owners / workers there clearly take pride in what they do. Overall, we would return for the good food, warm atmosphere; and reasonable price point. As a bonus, downtown Wayne is very charming!“

The food is TRUE & authentic Italian- my son closed his eyes at bread course (grilled Roman bread with ricotta & honey for A Scarpetta) and said, “mom this tastes like Italy!” We shared and tasted so many things, antipasto, starters, the salads were fresh, perfect vinaigrettes, the pastas & sauces all legit, homemade from scratch and perfectly Al dente. They dry-age their beef too which is exceptional. For dessert we had tiramisu budino & affogato- a perfect ending. We will be back and would recommend to friends. The staff was great too, just the right amount of attentiveness. It was a joyful & delicious experience at Tresini.“

“As a cheesesteak enthusiast, I was anxious to try the "Jawn" advertised as a pound of prime ribeye on a freshly kneaded roll with caramelized onions and Cooper Sharp. The roll was fresh and warm, and yeasty, but more like pizza crust than the high end Italian rolls one finds at the best cheesesteak joints. Onions were perfect. Cheese was kind of skimpy. The beef was high quality and free of gristle..but a POUND? Maybe 8oz. MAX before cooking. I've eaten several pound steaks, and this ain't one. Fries were very high quality frozen, served piping hot in a cute mini fry-basket. Wife's wings were crispy and didn't get soggy in the plentiful hot sauce. Drinks are very reasonable and staff attentive and friendly. I guess the "Jawn" is a kind of novelty, and the price may reflect the beef grade as opposed to weight. Adorable atmosphere. I'll return, but try the Italian dishes where I suspect they excel.“

“I used to come here 30 some years ago when it was Sonoma. It has been several other restaurants through the years but this is the best by far. There are 2 bars. One on the first floor that has retractable windows to open up to the outside. Then there is my favorite bar upstairs. Light, airy, nicely painted walls with olive leaves and glass ceiling.There is a happy hour Monday to Friday, 4 to 6pm. All their signature crafted cocktails are $7 and they are delicious. Our bartender, Jeff, was welcoming and very knowledgeable about his craft. Love that they use a lot of local products. There are other drink options (see my menu photo below) and fun food items. We ordered 2 pizzas (shrimp and artichoke and the pepperoni). Both were fabulous.I will be returning again for their in house made pasta and I can't wait.Parking: People often think that parking is difficult in manayunk but there are plenty of options in the nearby lots if you can't get one on the street.“

“Really kind staff and yummy breakfast! We've ordered delivery a few times for breakfast because I saw that they offer gluten-free options. Gluten free is not listed on the delivery app menus but I took a chance ordering pancakes and adding a note requesting gluten free. I figured if they sent regular pancakes my husband could just eat them. Not only was it not an issue, but they clearly labeled the food for us as well. I've ordered gluten free pancakes and Belgian waffles with no problem and it has been really nice as a treat once in a while, esp. since most places in our area don't offer gluten free versions. I thought they had gluten free muffins as well and ordered them, opting to just refund if they didn't have them. Instead of refunding the gluten free muffins or just sending regular muffins in their place, they sent a free order of gluten free chocolate chip pancakes with a note on the box. It was so nice of them, and completely unnecessary! Having to adjust to a gluten free diet is a big, inconvenient chore and often disappointing as you realize your options for treats have been seriously limited. Every meal kind of becomes a drag. It's really nice to have a local place that can accommodate this need! I realize that ordering these kinds of foods pretty much guarantees cross contamination because we can't expect kitchens to have totally separate areas and tools just for some orders--but it's a choice I make once in a while and I'm lucky not to be a person with severe/immediate reactions to exposure. I've never felt sick after eating breakfast from Valentino's and it's not an everyday treat but I'm super grateful to have it as an option!!!“

“One of my go to spots for lunch when I am working from home. My typical order is a chicken caesar wrap (Amazing!) with a bag of chips and Diet Coke. Easy, quick, and delicious. I will often times grab a Corropolese Tomato Pie as well. Cintrellas has recently completed a beautiful renovation. Expanding into the storefront next door and offering a wider variety of food and treats. With a full menu of hoagies, cheesesteaks, deli meats, cheeses, desserts, catering trays, frozen Italian meals, and many more, this place is the perfect neighborhood deli.
