“I do love my pretzels, with that being said, after picking up a birthday smoothie at Smoothie King... stopped in and was glad that I did. This place in my opinion, beats out all mall pretzel places, for several reasons. 1. Fresh, hot pretzels continuously baked, plenty of dip selections to go with them. 2. Pretzel trays.... if i lived closer would get one for any social gathering in a heart beat. 3. Customer service/presentation 4. Value/Rewards/VIP Program If your in town and happen to see this place, stop your stomach will thank you .“
“James is the best pizza maker around! We love their pies and won’t go anywhere else in tahn - I’m especially obsessed with their pickle pizza and garlic knots! Just a great, friendly, reasonably-priced local shop with truly medicinal marinara!“
“My work honored me recently with a retirement party, along with our Pittsburgh staff, at the Altius restaurant. My family has enjoyed dinner there before, and as always, everyone was quite impressed with the atmosphere, attentive staff, and fantastic food. Altius is a top-tier restaurant in Pittsburgh, and you will not be disappointed.“
“We’ve dined twice at Alla Famiglia and it’s the best Italian restaurant in Pittsburgh. Their portions are massive and we’ve always had enough for lunch the next day. The three things we recommend are the grilled octopus appetizer, any of the veal chops, and the seafood diavola. You need to see the size of the veal chops in person as pictures online don’t do it justice. We thought the Cavatappi tasted better than the Cacio pasta, even though Cacio costs more. Overall it’s pricey for Pittsburgh, but the quality is superior and you get enough for lunch the next day. Another tip is get a bottle of their spicy olive oil on the way out. I add it to many dishes for an extra kick and it makes for a great present.“
“My wife, our son Declan, and myself stopped in for lunch around 1 on a Saturday. Service was great and they were very accommodating to our 9 1/2 month old son, providing a high chair as soon as we were getting seated. The staff was very friendly and engaged us in light conversation. We got a medium pizza with italian sausage that was absolutely amazing and cheese ravioli with meat sauce, also very delicious. The restaurant has a very cozy, traditional feel that we loved. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit and mad it was my first time there after living in the area for over 20 years.Kid-friendliness: Very accomodating to our son, giving us plenty of napkins, plates, and some crackers to snack on.“
“This is a must see spot to eat fresh & enjoy great customer service. I’ve personally stopped in just to try one time and keep coming back. Declan is a super cool guy & always interacts with customers and if you’re a regular he’ll generally remember your order. If you ever thought about going , do not hesitate go down there today. Try the pink dragon!“
“We've been here twice. Tonight we celebrated a 33 year anniversary. I had the scallops, my husband the pork chop. Everything was delicious. Lou greeted us and made us feel like we entered our own dining room. Throughout the night, we heard him greeting several diners warmly. Shannon, guided us on menu options. With champagne (BYOB) and delicious entrees, we had a lovely night. All was topped off with a refreshing key lime dessert. Can't wait to return!!“
“Bistro to Go did an incredible job for our vegan wedding. They worked with us to create a menu we loved and made time to answer any questions we had along the way. They had a complimentary tasting and the chefs even hopped on zoom calls throughout the planning to make sure the menu had been completely perfected. Shauna and the team also worked with us to provide the most inclusive menu possible - with plenty of gluten free options and nut free options in addition to the wedding being fully vegan. This made sure everyone attending the wedding could fully enjoy the food, which was extremely important to us. All of my non-vegan friends and family were raving about the food! My meat-eating uncle actually said "if all vegan food tasted like this I could go vegan." The meals were beautifully plated and the service was excellent. My non-vegan parents were so relieved and happy we went with Bistro. We had actually started with another company for our wedding, but after hiring them it was very difficult to reach them and when we did, it didn't feel like there was a willingness to work on customizing a menu for our wedding. We ended up switching to Bistro to Go and it was the best decision we made.“
“The food was amazing and the staff were very nice. There was a lot of options that were vegetarian friendly because everything was put together fresh.Vegetarian options: Nearly everything could be made vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Most bread like items were made with corn.“
“A sweet place! This was my second visit to the Washington Road location of Bethel Bakery. I am hoping in the future to go to the larger one. I absolutely love having this one close by though. My husband and I went in to get ourselves a treat during the month of February. We were craving sweets and they did not disappoint! Such fun designs, tasty treats, and so much to choose from! The workers are always kind and attentive. Definitely need “sweet” service in a bakery! Will be back soon!Wheelchair accessible parking and entrance.Parking: Parking on the premises.Kid-friendliness: Lots to choose from. Any child would love this bakery!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair parking and entrance.“
“Road trip from Toronto to Pittsburgh. Stayed here for 4 days.My family members were all craving for Pho. Googled the best pho and Pho Van was top of the list.Quiet Easter Sunday in Strip District but not Pho Van.There was lineup outside of the restaurant. In my mind, it’s gotta be good.I went in the restaurant and checked myself in. There were few people waiting before me. Waited almost 25 mins. It’s weird that they didn’t sit us in when there was a table for 4 people.I asked the staff and they said there was one person in front of me.So, it doesn’t make sense to me if you want to sit 1 person at a 4 people table.anyway, that person got another table and I sit at the table which was ready 10 mins ago.————-Pho:It’s very pricy comparing to Toronto (i know I can’t compare but still…). A bowl of Pho cost me $18 USD (~$25 CAD) and it’s only one size.Soup base was nice. No heavy MSG. I ordered eye round pho. Portion was ok (Large size in Toronto), meat portion was just ok. I expected more for this price. The noodle was thinner than Toronto. It was nice.Spring rollIt was delicious. Freshly made. Not those frozen one we have in Toronto. Well done here.————-Overall, it was a nice Pho place to stop bu. It was expensive for Pho. $120 US with tips for 4 bowls of Pho.“
“We did takeout and this was some of the best pizza in the area. The calzone we ordered was also delicious. I was hesitant to try the cheese steak, since I love a Philly style cheese steak, but was happily surprised at how good it was. This will definitely not be our last time ordering from Crust.“
“I recently tried this place for the first time via grubhub. I ordered the shrimp and grits. The delivery was timely, and the food was delicious. The portion size was perfect, and everything tasted so good. I also appreciated the message on the box “thank you for supporting our dream.” I will be back again, but in person. I’d also recommend to anyone!“
“I come with my husband for lunch. We always get the lunch special and he LOVES the soup that comes with it. I adore the Tum Yum veggie soup. The summer roll is so fresh and the crab app is crispy and always hot. It’s a family owned business so that just makes it even better. You can’t go wrong with anything you get. Try the Musaman curry with beef. The owner is so sweet and that’s what keeps my husband and I coming back for more.“
“The pastries were delicious, the customer service is a different story. We weren't offered any drinks, they assumed we were taking the pastries to go, so they were in a hurry to put them on plates.Once we paid and sat down, we were basically ignored.“
“This is a great place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. They make custom menus with your name(s) for the occasion! The food is really good. GET THE MEATBALL APPETIZER! The vibes are immaculate in the old school building with old pulley ceiling fans.“
“What a cutie bake shop conveniently located in the Robinson shopping area. We couldn't decide on one flavor, so we got 3 of the little cakes, "Bundtlets"! Seasonal Andes Peppermint Chocolate Chip, Carrot Cake, and Red Velvet! Each were super moist and wonderfully flavored. The team was super welcoming, and the decor festive for the holiday season! What a cute gift these Bundtlets can be at only $5.50 each!“
“Food was a little bland, and portions were not as expected based on the higher price point. However, the waitress we had was amazing. She was so friendly and accommodating and even spent some time talking with me when the restaraunt had a lull. I would return just for her! I do want to reiterate that nothing we had was bad or inedible, just a little lackluster for the money. Maybe an off day, I would definitely try it again“
“Went here for dinner. I had the gnocchi bolognese and it was terrific. They don't over salt their dishes and the portion was big. My wife had the chicken Parm and that was very good too. They use a thinner breading which doesn't make for a crunchy chicken cutlet. The place is cozy but that just adds to the atmosphere. And the service was great as well.I would definitely recommend a reservation as a smaller place this good fills up quick.“
“The comfortable atmosphere and friendly interaction keeps me a frequent customer. Today I was offered a tea that was not on the menu. Women of Valor, an amazing blueberry and lemon tea that embodies the strength and delicacies of those it represents. It was delicious... and I am grateful. Thank “
“We just got Arleos for the second time and unfortunately all other pizza places may have officially lost our business. My husband is a pizza snob from NY and thinks all pizza in the Pittsburgh region sucks but he is raving about Arleo’s. The online ordering is so easy and fully customizable with many options. Delivery guy was timely and so kind. Thank you Arleo’s from your newest loyal customers!“
“We went there for take out on Sunday night for dinner. Tried a small babaganus, regular falafel, one assorted aladin special kebab platter and one seesh kebab platter. The platters comes with buttered rice. Some of them comes with salad as well. The food taste really great. All the kebabs were very well cooked There, flavorful and tender. Babagsnus was very tasty as well. There was a pita with one of the above dishes but not sure with which dish I got the pita. My complain is about the quantity. The platters cost anywhere between 17 and 21 dollars. Given the price the quantity was not what I was expecting. Also the dips like tahini sauce or garlic sauce were not free which was kind of wired. They will change you 75 cents for that. The ambiance looked ok to me. There were one one couple eating in the restaurant when I went to order. So not sure if it gets busy during some other time of the day. There were ample parking available. The shop also sells cakes like carrot cake tiramisu and baklava. The service was really good. I ordered upon reaching there. It took them under 15mins to hand over my order“
“We tried Antonio’s for the first time tonight. We ordered a deep dish pizza with pepperoni and the general tso’s chicken pizza. Both pizzas looked and tasted amazing. I don’t find many places that put fried chicken on pizza, so I appreciate the unique menu items. This style and quality of food is exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely be back.“
“This is award winning food. Gluten-free heaven for me! I had the tuna melt on GF focaccia bread, it was SO delicious I had to reconfirm that it was GF. The tuna was exceptionally mouth watering. GF made peanut butter cookie alone was worth coming back for. Salad was fresh and dressed to perfection.“
“The sweet scents immediately hit you upon entry. The lemon cello cookies are to die for! I am so glad that I ordered a dozen of them. Even though they are known for their biscotti's I did not order any this time. But I certainly will on my next visit there.“
“Interior could use a bit of updating, but was clean and comfortable enough (kudos on the St Paddy's day decorations!). As for the sushi, definitely some of the best in town. Had the dragon, rainbow, Pittsburgh, and red dragon rolls, and loved them all.“
“I absolutely love Mr. Colombino’s coffee. It’s so smooth and creamy with no bitterness, the beans are so fresh and sustainably sourced. If you’re feeling fancy order the mocha. It’s not fast drink, because he uses fresh cacao beans and grinds them right there. And it’s not really sweet like a typical mocha, so the coffee still shines through. You can clearly taste both the coffee and the chocolate, being totally happy together in one cup. It’s the perfect balance for me, I would wait the extra few minutes for it any day. He truly takes pride in his coffee.“
“We had Bethel Bakery make our wedding cake, and we couldn't have been happier with the service. Their at home tasting option was the nicest that we tried, the person who did our online consultation was great to work with, and everything was delicious!Unfortunately, we did have an issue with the cake itself. It arrived...basically in pieces. The delivery driver was in tears. Thankfully, our coordinator was able to largely salvage it, and Bethel Bakery, to their credit, could not have handled the mistake any better. They assured us that the cake and delivery charge would be free, and immediately followed up with an email the first thing the next morning, telling us to give them a call whenever it was convenient for us.When we called they were VERY apologetic, offered to make us a free anniversary cake, and even said they could decorate a fake cake, take it to our venue the next time they were there, and get pictures for us so that we could see what it should have looked like. We declined the fake cake photoshoot, but we were very impressed by the offer.Sometimes, accidents happen. What makes all the difference is how the company addresses the mistake. Bethel Bakery immediately took responsibility, and then went above and beyond to try to make things right. We truly appreciated their dedication to customer satisfaction, and we would not hesitate to use again for future cakes.“
“We had a funeral brunch upstairs in the private dining room. Everything was great. The staff was pleasant and efficient. We had the Cod, Breaded chicken breast, White rice, Stuffed shells with sauce, salad, and rolls with chocolate cake with coffee at the end. Food was plentiful, delicious and very satisfying. A pleasant ending.“
“It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Definitely one of the cleanest pizza places in Pittsburgh and they have lots of seats for a great dining experience. Amazing wings and food. The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.“
“We order here pretty often. My husband thinks the General Tso's is the best in the Pittsburgh area. He just thought it was extra good tonight and so, a 5 star review! We'll order here again, soon!My meal was most excellent as well. I love that the vegetables are not over-cooked and retain much of their texture.“
“Great experience at Alihan's today! My friend and I ordered the iskander kebab and Turkish falafel. We really liked them both! The complementary bread is so soft and chewy. The ambience strikes a nice balance between classy and comfortable. We learned from the staff as they closed out for the evening that they had been understaffed. They were so pleasant and attentive that it didn't show! I highly recommend Alihan's for an all around positive experience.“
“Aladdin’s never disappoints! We had a real nice dinner tonight. I had the Aladdin’s platter and my wife had the Gene’s Combo platter. BOTH were delicious! I highly recommend eating here in Mt.Lebanon. I can’t wait to come back again! Leah was our server and she was informative about the menu and attentive. I wish they would open a new Aladdin’s in the West Hills area!“
“Our family has been getting our special occasion cakes from Alex for years. They are not only works of art, they are delicious! She always pays special attention to what we requested and goes above and beyond. Can’t wait to order for our next event.“
“Wow! Just wow! I can't recommend these meals enough. Some highlights:-It's not a subscription, you order when you want/need-I particularly appreciate this.-Local delivery with no issues; packaging is is reusable, no ice packs.-Delicious, inventive meals, easy to follow instructions, and generous portions. Makes cooking a breeze. And! And, plant-based!!Highly recommend!“
“Good grilled cheese and delicious tomatoe soup. Nice wine pour. All folks at our table enjoyed their dinners. Spouse loved his Jambalaya. Lovely place to catch up with good friends. Only downside is it’s chilly because entrance is in the seating area.“
“Always a great place for good food and prices are reasonable. Normally has a soup and salad bar. Love the potato soup. Sad it's only 2 days a week for it.Kid-friendliness: Kids get crayons and a coloring/learning placemat.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps!!!“
“We just recently moved to Pittsburgh and love Thai food. We ended up eating here 3 times that first week. Amazing flavor in their dishes. Be warned, they take their spice levels seriously. 7/10 is hot! Overall, amazing food with great flavor. Try the basil or garlic dish with shrimp!“
“I received a giftcard to the cafe and really enjoyed stopping in today. A nice selection in the case of gluten free cakes, tarts, macarons, etc. I got some treats for a relative flying in and got a piece of tiramisu cake for myself- it was fantastic. Very moist and delicious. Can’t wait to stop back in for more pastries.“
“The food was good (but not great), and the service was generally good, but I do feel like we were "checked in on" more than usual, which was a tad annoying. All in all, a good place for some standard American-Italian fare.Vegetarian options: I love the make your own with mushroom sauce and broccoli! They have some other options, but that's my go-to. Definitely harder to find good vegan options, but vegetarian is pretty decent“
“Good pizza. Firm, no flimsy...not too greasy. Generous toppings. Not the most flavorful pizza I've ever had, but I'm into it and I'll order again. Easy online ordering and they open at 1030 which is nice when you need to place your order early for a later time. Delivery guy nice and followed directions.Convenient location also.“
“My wife and I live nearby, and we come once a week minimum. First off, the staff is fantastic. Hosts, wait staff, bartenders, and managers are always friendly and attentive. The food is always spot on, consistent in taste and value. There are standards, but also a rotating menu for specials and cocktails. Live entertainment twice a week is always fun and varied. We will always be back, thank you!“
“All I can say is that our server, Daniel went above and beyond and then some. He was a great server and also provided such a wonderful time for our foster child and brought out a nice big flare all lit up and provided a nice big piece of chocolate cake for him to celebrate his birthday, He was so happy. We had such a blast. Daniel was a really great server. Please get him recognized. We had the greatest time in a long time and we're glad we did it at PF Chang's in Robinson.“
“Coconut shrimp and paella are always the must-ordered here. Also tried the plantain bowl and it's good. We were told the key lime pie is 100% homemade here. Worth try because it comes with the novel comb that melt marshmallows on top. The dishes are a bit over seasoned but overall is good. A good chill place to go.“
“We Have Experienced The Restaurant And The Bar. We Mostly Utilize The Bar Area.Always A Quality, Welcoming, First Class Experience. If You Enjoy An"Old Fashion" As Far As I'm Concerned Nowhere Does Them Better.Quality Food/Outstanding Service“
“The entree was very good as usual, as was the salad but they have made a change to their famous bread sticks which is very disappointing. They no longer have the delicious crust on the outside. The whole thing is very soft and the taste is just not the same. The bread sticks were always a favorite of everyone and I hope they reconsider and bring the originals back.“
“actually obsessed with first watch. i think i get it at least once a week. my boyfriend gets excited for the seasonal menus. i've never been disappointed with the food, tho almost every time my mom asks for mushroom in her omelet she doesn't get it. the staff is nice, some are more attentive than others. one of my favorite spots for a lazy brunch.“
“This is hands down the best Thai restaurant in the Dormont/Mt. Lebanon area. Quick delivery, tasty food.I’m a big fan of spicy Basil Leaf with beef and their Tom Yum soup with chicken (appetizer size), but they make a lot of great dishes. My wife loves the Pad Thai with tofu, Crab Rangoons and bubble tea.If you have a cold, try the Tom Yum Noodle Soup Bowl with chicken (dinner portion). You get the broth and chicken separate from the noodles and veggies so nothing is soggy, and there’s easily enough for 2-3 massive bowls of soup — especially if you order extra meat or veggies. A life saver when you’re sick.“
“About 2 weeks ago I had gone to Zoup for the first time. I absolutely loved what I had. The variety of soups they have and the sandwiches, it was delicious. You're able to try all of the soups. The staff is helpful and friendly. I've been there 4 times since. I highly recommend Zoup. I work in Southpoint and that's the Zoup I went to.“
“Really good açaí bowls! They have lots of options and the flavors are great. My only complaint is that it is expensive, and I wish they had Nutella as a topping! My bowl was made quickly and the employee was very friendly. Hope to be back again soon!“
