“We went there for take out on Sunday night for dinner. Tried a small babaganus, regular falafel, one assorted aladin special kebab platter and one seesh kebab platter. The platters comes with buttered rice. Some of them comes with salad as well. The food taste really great. All the kebabs were very well cooked There, flavorful and tender. Babagsnus was very tasty as well. There was a pita with one of the above dishes but not sure with which dish I got the pita. My complain is about the quantity. The platters cost anywhere between 17 and 21 dollars. Given the price the quantity was not what I was expecting. Also the dips like tahini sauce or garlic sauce were not free which was kind of wired. They will change you 75 cents for that. The ambiance looked ok to me. There were one one couple eating in the restaurant when I went to order. So not sure if it gets busy during some other time of the day. There were ample parking available. The shop also sells cakes like carrot cake tiramisu and baklava. The service was really good. I ordered upon reaching there. It took them under 15mins to hand over my order“

“This is a great place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. They make custom menus with your name(s) for the occasion! The food is really good. GET THE MEATBALL APPETIZER! The vibes are immaculate in the old school building with old pulley ceiling fans.“

“We’ve dined twice at Alla Famiglia and it’s the best Italian restaurant in Pittsburgh. Their portions are massive and we’ve always had enough for lunch the next day. The three things we recommend are the grilled octopus appetizer, any of the veal chops, and the seafood diavola. You need to see the size of the veal chops in person as pictures online don’t do it justice. We thought the Cavatappi tasted better than the Cacio pasta, even though Cacio costs more. Overall it’s pricey for Pittsburgh, but the quality is superior and you get enough for lunch the next day. Another tip is get a bottle of their spicy olive oil on the way out. I add it to many dishes for an extra kick and it makes for a great present.“

“Really good açaí bowls! They have lots of options and the flavors are great. My only complaint is that it is expensive, and I wish they had Nutella as a topping! My bowl was made quickly and the employee was very friendly. Hope to be back again soon!“

“We've been here twice. Tonight we celebrated a 33 year anniversary. I had the scallops, my husband the pork chop. Everything was delicious. Lou greeted us and made us feel like we entered our own dining room. Throughout the night, we heard him greeting several diners warmly. Shannon, guided us on menu options. With champagne (BYOB) and delicious entrees, we had a lovely night. All was topped off with a refreshing key lime dessert. Can't wait to return!!“

“I've enjoyed stopping in from time to time for birthday cakes, cookies, and paczki; but my absolute favorite item I've gotten from Bethel Bakery was our wedding cake. My husband and I got married on August 26, 2022 and our cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted amazing. Even having the top layer for our 1 year anniversary was delicious. I cannot recommend Bethel Bakery more.“

Their at home tasting option was the nicest that we tried, the person who did our online consultation was great to work with, and everything was delicious!Unfortunately, we did have an issue with the cake itself. Thankfully, our coordinator was able to largely salvage it, and Bethel Bakery, to their credit, could not have handled the mistake any better. They assured us that the cake and delivery charge would be free, and immediately followed up with an email the first thing the next morning, telling us to give them a call whenever it was convenient for us.When we called they were VERY apologetic, offered to make us a free anniversary cake, and even said they could decorate a fake cake, take it to our venue the next time they were there, and get pictures for us so that we could see what it should have looked like. “The soups are usually pretty good. The only complaint I have is the wait times during peak hours. I tend to order only soup and a piece of bread, but the wait time on that can be over 15 minutes. It would be nice if orders like that could be filled at the register quickly, or while we’re in line trying samples. There were only 2 people working FOH and diners as well as take-out orders kept pouring in. You will almost certainly find a spot, but you may have a little bit of a walk to get there. The spots in front of the restaurant fill up very quickly.Kid-friendliness: They provide crayons and a kids menu where a kid can color. There aren't really any areas for kids to move around inside the restaurant, though. Although the back room might be your best bet, since it is at least slightly isolated.Wheelchair accessibility: I do not see any ways in which a person in a wheelchair is directly prevented from getting around. However, it is a very crowded area inside, and I did not see any powered doors on the way in, so someone might need help in getting doors open for them, if they are not very agile in reaching out of the wheelchair.“
