“I recently worked as a photographer at this bar/restaurant space that was being used for a wedding. There is a small space in the back thats great for pictures and small parties. They also have a bar upstairs and ample parking across the street. The appetizers were delicious and creative. Its a nice venue to hold a small event or to have drinks/dinner.“

“First time here with a small group. The restaurant had a positive vibe, the waitstaff were polite, service fast and efficient. The menu was appealing and interesting. “A great place. Been open many years. Recently on TV for their Anniversary. Sometimes crowded but they are quick and move fast. You can get breakfast sandwiches all day which is a plus. Coffee very good, another plus. Only takes cash, no big deal to me. Grew up in South Philly and local neighborhood places the same. “Had dinner at Bar Sera for the first time in 2023-06-16 for a 7pm reservation. We got seated right away, not waiting at all. All our drinks and food came out on time and was absolutely delicious. We had the best server named Rachel. She had many tables but still was amazing, very attentive and would engage in conversation with us as. She made the dining experience so much better than any restaurant I’ve been to in a while. The food overall was amazing. I highly recommend this place. If you can, ask for Rachel, she won’t disappoint.“

“In town for the weekend and wanted to find a good breakfast spot instead of the normal/crappy hotel fare. I’ll admit the name was the selling point. Due to some shenanigans the night before, we ended up at Your Mom’s Place closer to afternoon. The sign indicated they close at 2:00pm on Fridays, so we asked if they were still serving (this was right at 1:30 – and having worked in the restaurant industry I know how annoying it is to have a table walk in right before close). They said absolutely and welcomed us right in. Our server Suzy was so friendly and attentive. They unfortunately had no more home fries but went the next step and gave us (delicious) potato wedges instead. The dark roast coffee was the perfect pick me up and the Boomer omelet was to die for. We were even given coffee to go – the good stuff – as they were just going to dump it anyways. The food and service were top notch and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. You bet we’ll be back next time we’re in town.“

“My wife and I had a great Friday night out at Rivertown Taps. We ordered the burrata to start and then a burger and the Mediterranean grilled cheese. Had a couple beers from the serve-yourself taps as well. The best part was sitting at the counter and watching the chefs preparing all the food. I would highly recommend it for a fun night out In Phoenixville. We will definitely be back to try the wings and some fried pickles and maybe the fries, and some burnt ends… they all looked good.“

“As a cheesesteak enthusiast, I was anxious to try the "Jawn" advertised as a pound of prime ribeye on a freshly kneaded roll with caramelized onions and Cooper Sharp. The roll was fresh and warm, and yeasty, but more like pizza crust than the high end Italian rolls one finds at the best cheesesteak joints. Onions were perfect. Cheese was kind of skimpy. The beef was high quality and free of gristle..but a POUND? Maybe 8oz. MAX before cooking. I've eaten several pound steaks, and this ain't one. Fries were very high quality frozen, served piping hot in a cute mini fry-basket. Wife's wings were crispy and didn't get soggy in the plentiful hot sauce. Drinks are very reasonable and staff attentive and friendly. I guess the "Jawn" is a kind of novelty, and the price may reflect the beef grade as opposed to weight. Adorable atmosphere. I'll return, but try the Italian dishes where I suspect they excel.“
