“The Traveling Tap gave us such a great experience for our wedding day and everything leading up to it! From the fun tasting experience to overall communication throughout, we couldn't recommend using this service enough! Based on all of their experience, they were able to advise how much wine, beer and liquor to get for the big day to minimize extra spending up front. We also decided to go with the Bubbly Bar, which was a HUGE hit on the day of. Amber and Tim came a few hours early and made sure everything was set up properly. They were also so efficient with serving from the Bubbly Bar during cocktail hour, where no one really had to wait for a drink! 5 Stars all around. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone getting married in the Lancaster area!“

“SEI catered a work event I attended. I have Celiac Disease and have to be super careful to avoid gluten. I'm sick for two weeks even from a crumb. I emailed them ahead of time and they seemed genuinely eager to accommodate and help me eat safely! They placed specific gluten free items in a sealed container ahead of time and kept it in a heated space so that I could enjoy hot, fresh food like everyone else (and kept a salad and dressing separate for me too). Peace of mind is a BIG DEAL when walking through life with food allergies, and my mind was at ease, thanks to this great team who obviously cares for the people they serve!“

“I want to start with the food was AMAZING! And the people are also amazing! We had them cater our wedding a few years back. The food was definitely a highlight of our night. The reason I give 4 instead of 5 is one, we wish we could have gotten the left overs from our wedding, we barely got to eat, and were so sad we didn’t get them. Secondly my great grandmothers handkerchief was tossed out in the frenzy. They did say they checked the trash, but best believe the whole tent was tossed upside down. I had left it on the table, and my guess it got caught in with the linens :/ which was heartbreaking for me. Honestly I’ve been craving this food again and we will be coming back. I recommend them to anyone who wants to cater just keep track of items a little better than me :)“

“I’m from Alabama. Moved here from Nashville. I’ve grown up with bbq my whole life. Jon’s pulled pork sandwich isn’t just good for PA it’s as good if not better than almost any place I can think of. “Talk about a hidden Gem! I was driving home to Pittsburgh from doing business outside of Philadelphia and wanted some BBQ. This came up on my GPS and was in the right direction. The location is definitely off the beaten path, but well worth the journey. The pork BBQ was excellent and the baked beans were probably the best I have ever had. The mac and cheese, was OK, not much flavor. The little applepie I had for desserts was so good; I thought about going back to get more! I do a fair amount of travel out that way and will definitely be stopping again.“

“Twisted spoon catered my 50th birthday party. There were about 30 people. The Crab Mac and Cheese bar was AWESOME! Definitely appreciated all the vegetarian options. I have numerous vegetarian and vegan friends. The chicken salad was perfect and there was none to take home afterward. We actually needed to run out and get some more rolls. All in all they did an excellent job. I will call on them again if I ever need catering.“

The event was on a rooftop with no kitchen nearby so logistics were challenging but it did not seem to phase the kind, capable team.Everything from our initial inquiry about their services to the final cleanup after the event was well done! “We were in the area visiting and came across this stand in the Central Market and while I didn't plan to get a whole dinner I had to when I saw how fabulous the food looked. I had brisket, Mac & cheese, & greens and it was all excellent...and I'm picky about my mac so to me that's saying a lot. The brisket was sooo well seasoned as were the greens. Also I can't forget to mention the great customer service we received. Next time we're in the area I will definitely be back. P.S. the prices were also amazing“
