Don't miss these Greensburg Mexican restaurant gems.
“Great place to check out if you’re in the area of Greensburg, PA.*do note, prices are set the way they are because you are getting great tasting food.* don’t want to say cheap, BUT I also am not saying you will spend millions. Great place to take a first date and share a few apps and check out some good beers.I am pretty particular when it comes to what I want, there were four options and couldn’t make up my mind, so I left it into the hands of the gentleman behind the bar. (Said out of the lot of 4 whatever YOU pick is fine with me) the salmon came to my spot at the bar and I was pleasantly impressed with the plating and the overall helping and proportion of the dish. The garlic butter on top of the fish was melting before my eyes so I quickly gave the salmon a two butter up and down and then removed it placing it with the green beans and mashed potatoes. While I can’t be as articulate as Anthony Bourdain I will say this. Everything about this dish came together when the butter melted and meshed perfectly into the mashed potatoes giving the overall texture a creamy finish. With every slither out of the fish then making my way to the mashed potatoes and lastly the green beans became a perfect bite of all three textures and flavor. (The butter was not the taking over the the flavors of the sides and the salmon) the char on the salmon was perfect which gave a slightly char taste one would get off a bbq or even a cedar plank if you have ever cooked fish on one.The one problem I did end up having was that I also am a creature of habit, so finding something else on the menu next time I go back will be challenging. My last visit I had requested to speak to the chef however he had just made his way out as the dinner rush was over which is totally fine, I will get another opportunity to pick his brain and ask him what to try next.Do go for yourself though, I am sure this will be the spot locals and others will flock to since they do have outdoor seating.Parking is a bit treacherous, but it is what it is.. you’ll understand why when you walk in and see this place packed full of people at the bar and at every filled table.“
“One of the best fast food experiences I’ve ever had! The staff was incredibly friendly, the food was well prepared and made quickly and the dining room was spotless. My expectations for fast food are usually quite low, but this is a very nice, well run Taco Bell.“
“I have celiac disease, went to this location about a month ago. I informed the manager about needing everything gluten free. She went above and beyond to make sure everything I got in my bowl wasn’t cross contaminated. She went into the cooler to get all new toppings, I was given fresh rice and they cleaned the entire counter / changed gloves before making my bowl. I was treated so nicely and not made to feel like a burden which happens often when you tell someone you can’t have gluten. I did not get sick which is a huge win. The manager also comped the meal because it was my birthday. Everyone in the food industry should take notes from her! I appreciated this more than she probably realized.“
“They are always busy but welcoming at the same time customer service was good and fast. The food was good. They had what I wanted. I wish they could give you extra without paying almost $10 for extra stuff. The only thing they need to fix up is their restroom. Make sure it stays clean at all times even when busy“
“Visited for dinner after another place was too long of a wait. Wait wasn’t long for a Saturday evening. My daughter didn’t even want to come here, but was immediately happy with our server Chad and said he was the best server we’ve ever had. Great options, everything was good, we got several combos, and kids meals, fajitas and fried ice cream, all was great. Good margaritas and decent prices. The service from Chad was the best part of an overall enjoyable experience. Definitely will be stopping again.Kid-friendliness: Nice kids menu, so several families here. Waiter was super attentive and accommodating to our child,“
“FANTASTIC!! went with wife and 4 kids and everything was amazing from the tacos to the black beans. 100% will be coming back!Vegetarian options: Didn’t personally try them but noticed a few items on the menuKid-friendliness: Super friendly and tolerant staff and the food was right up my kids alley.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp out front and plenty of room in restaurant“
“10/10, the best and most authentic Mexican food (and drinks) in the area!! We love the chips and queso w/ chorizo, and honestly everything on the menu. The margs are well-balanced, not made with a margarita mix and therefore don't give you a sugar hangover the next day. Maderos is a Murrysville staple!“
“Taco Bell in New Stanton is a nice, clean, and fast restaurant. We ordered via drive-thru. We were treated kindly and our food was prepared quickly and as ordered. It was delicious, too. [“The restaurant serves a variety of Mexican-inspired foods, including tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, novelty, and speciality items, and a variety of "value menu" items.”-Wikipedia]“
“Their food is good, the people are friendly, but they are very under staffed. Be patient, they are doing their best but it does take a little more time than usual. I hope corporate doesn't close the store due to staffing issues. They need to up the pay or benefits to get more employees. That is just the way things are in this post-covid world. Prices will go up to cover inflated staffing everywhere.“
“It was a decent Mexican restaurant!! Food was good and bottomless chips and salsa is always a plus!! I wasn't blown away by the food as it wasn't anything spectacular, but it was good. A little on the pricey-er side but not too bad. Atmosphere was nice, I really loved their glass chandeliers. I would go here again if I was craving Mexican food!“
