(I took a taste of both)The mint chocolate chip was so delicious, it reminded me of ice cream I got from a little candy shop up in Northern Wisconsin when I was a kid. “My wife has always wondered why I always refuse any of the area water ice spots, especially the chain stores, until I took her to Pops. My wife's first real water ice was at the original South Philly location on Oregon Ave, then we found Havertown.Pops is by far the best water ice I have ever had, and I've been enjoying Pops since I was a kid. “My daughter really wanted to go here for free water ice the first day of spring. I knew better because I already anticipated that it would be crowded; I indulged her anyway. The line was super long and it was so cold; spring, yeah right:( The wait time was really short because all three windows were open and someone was directing customers as soon as a window became available. I gave 4 stars because we ordered a strawberry Italian (water) ice with vanilla/chocolate custard and we got strawberry/chocolate Ice with vanilla custard. The vanilla custard was good but the chocolate/strawberry combo was absolutely horrible. We did not make a fuss because we understood that it was a promotion and they were super busy but I still have that horrible taste in my mouth. The overall experience was good because everyone was pleasant in spite of the long lines. We'll definitely be back during the coming months. See you there.“
“This has been on my radar for some time, and I was able to visit this weekend. Ordered a small order of fries and a chicken tender platter. The portions were generous, so i thought damn, what's the catch? There was none. The food was great. Fries were fried perfectly, which was great for my picky eater. The chicken tender platter was also big, which fed two of us. Very tasty, and their honey mustard sauce was on point. Great and delicious option in the neighborhood that didn't break the bank. I was sad they didn't have any pizza available at that moment, so I guess I'll have to go back to sample that.“
“From the tasting to after the wedding, Bredenbeck’s was amazing! The cake came out EXACTLY how I expected it to. It was beautiful! And it tasted amazing! All of my guests really loved every layer (each one was a different flavor). We had a small issue with the filling but Bredenbeck’s rectified the issue right away and took accountability! “We came in on a December Thursday night and were the only ones in the store. You're able to sample any flavor you want, which was great. We ended up getting thin mint and a pumpkin, which were both delicious. The sad part about winter is that not many people are coming in for ice cream, so the ice cream itself wasn't as creamy and had some ice chunks. “Get the rib eye! They give you a steak knife. You don’t need a steak knife. I used my butter knife. It was so tender I bet I could have used the side of my fork. “Probably the largest assortment of flavors I’ve ever seen at a Rita’s! Outside seating and two parking lots on each side of the building. I mean they have 8+ ice cream flavors and like 12+ water ice flavors! Never seen so many opinions at any Rita’s. The crew here is super friendly mostly young adult with an adult supervisor who is kind and professional too! This is the Rita’s I go to when I want something new, unexpected or unusual lol trust me there’s so much to choose from! Clean outside but doesn’t stay that way for long - this place get packed! So go early and if on the weekends get ur to go home with lol this is a family place tons of variety for the lil ones.“

There was a wide array of flavors for both ice and custard and different things that could be ordered. I was intrigued by the gelati, which is layers of Italian ice and custard. However, none of the flavors really seemed like they would have gone together. Ultimately, we ended up getting a large coffee custard. It was absolutely delicious! The texture was thick and creamy and really refreshing for the hot day. The taste of coffee was pretty light but still enjoyable. My brother got a strawberry concrete, which was vanilla custard with strawberry topping, nilla wafers, and pie crusts blended in. I thought this was also pretty good! Overall, I'm glad we stopped by and I would definitely try their Italian ice in the future.“

“They have great selections of ice cream flavors.. Chocolate Ice-cream alone had close to 6-8 flavors. We have tried their specialedition chocolate caramel cookies &cream, and I loved it. The ice cream quality was great which was rich and luxurious in texture , and the surprising elements were pieces of cookies and fudge which added the bit of crunch tothe ice-cream. The waffle cone was classic with sugar flavored and crunchy texture. Iwould definitely try their ice cream with wafflefor sure which elevates the whole experienceof having an ice-cream.I have also tried their sampleof chocolate toasted coconut which was yummy. Chocolate and coconut was an interesting flavor to try out in an ice cream and it was so good. She seemed to really care about the art of making a concrete as well, and even knew the recipe to the brokie concrete, lol TBT. At the end she said i should buy a pretzel to complete my order and...
