“I love jb dawsons. Their food is delicious. I would highly recommend eating there. That being said I was highly disappointed today. I am a single mom on a tight budget. I wanted to enjoy lunch with my friend and daughter today. We chose in Dawson’s because they are not only delicious but they offer free kids meals on Sundays! That’s about the only way I can afford to go to be honest . We were excited to eat there today! We get seated and the waitress tells us kids aren’t free today because it’s Father’s Day?! Like seriously ? So we had to leave … cuz I simply couldn’t afford it. I’m raising my daughter alone and wanted to enjoy a good meal on the only day/time I could afford to and we couldn’t because of this. Just highly disappointed in them today.“

“This was our first time at Stoner Grill and it was so good I’m posting a review! I got the special: Candied Walnut crusted salmon over sweet potatoes and carrots. I asked for it rare and it was delicious! Cooked perfectly, except the carrots were a little undercooked. I couldn’t cut through them easily.
Our server Olivia couldn’t have been better. She was professional and knowledgeable about the menu yet friendly and very patient with me, who couldn’t decide what to get. I’m so glad I got the special.
My friend’s order was the buffalo blue chicken quesadilla which had neither buffalo sauce nor blue cheese inside and we checked all quadrants, but fear not; Olivia promptly brought blue cheese crumbles, blue cheese dressing, and buffalo sauce. Great service.
There happened to be an office party celebrating Halloween so that was fun to see and Olivia told us about the different theme nights they have. We are definitely coming back for some of those.
All in all, it was a great meal with great service and we really enjoyed the whole experience. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the atmosphere. The string lights, the lighting, and the well-appointed look of the barn was really inviting.“

“The three of us went for a late lunch and even though we had to wait about 20-25 minutes to get a seat, the staff for the most part were really friendly. One of the waitresses has been there for a long time and is always super friendly to my mom and I. Food came out fairly quickly and tasted wonderful“

“This is our very favorite restaurant, however due to a very large crowd this evening, we had to sit at the bar. It was nice at first. But our waitress/bartender was a bit rude to us and didn't even check on how our meals came out, offer more beverages, refills and did not offer dessert. We usually tip very well but didn't this time. The crowd had really dispersed by the time we had our meals so there was really no excuse for the bad service. We will continue to go back of course becasue we love it there but hoping for a better experience.“

But tonight, we had such fabulous service from Graham that I wanted to give him the shout out. The good is good. It can feel a bit stuffy but quality is excellent.“

“In business for nearly thirty years, Lancaster Brewing Company has the brewpub concept down pat. The atmosphere is casual (albeit potentially fairly loud), and the dining area offers a view of the brewery tanks. Speaking of the beer, there are quite a few varieties to choose from – everything from nitro stouts to peanut butter ales — and LBC offers flights for those who want to try it all. The food selections are equally impressive. While you can find the requisite wings/burger/pizza here, LBC also defies expectations by offering up white chili or a chicken, leek, and lager pie.

My wife and I split an order of teriyaki fried cauliflower, a braided soft pretzel, and a burger meister and found the food to be very good. The cauliflower featured thick breading and a sweet teriyaki glaze. I could have eaten an entrée’s worth of it and have been satisfied. The pretzel was warm and pulled apart easily. Rather than being accompanied by separate cheese and mustard dips, its partner was a blend of beer cheese and mustard, strongly flavored but tasty if you don’t mind mustard. The burger featured fresh ground bratwurst, something that will leave you wondering where it was all your life. The accompanying fries were natural-cut, salty, and crisp.

While our server was friendly and helpful at the beginning of the meal, she vanished toward the end, and we were in for a wait to get our checks. LBC isn’t cheap for what it offers - $13 for the cauliflower, $16 for the burger – but the portions are at least sizeable.

If you want good beer, good food, and a dash of the unexpected, Lancaster Brewing Company is a very appealing option as long as you have the patience for high volume and a bit of a wait.“

“So my husband and I love trying new places! We are not from Lancaster but from the Reading area. We sat at the bar on Saturday and met Boots.. Yes. Our bartenders name was Boots. He was nothing short of amazing!!!!! He was fun, funny, knowledgable and perfect!! Our food (Korean kabobs and pretzel) were sooo delicious!!! Drinks fantastic!!! If you have a chance to chill with Boots I highly suggest you do it!!! Thank you Boots for a fantastic afternoon. Just wish we got to see Kat and give her that message (lol)“

“Great place - note, this review is for the room rental of this facility. We decorated the room for an event, and it's a very nice space. There's a decent amount of space, good tables and seats, a lot of parking, and the staff are friendly! This is a nice venue if you're looking for an event space. “One of the great food stands at Southern Market, offering innovative farm fresh cuisine. Loved everything; but, have to give a huge shout out to the turkey melt. “Where to start. We have probably driven by this place dozens of times as we pass through Lancaster back to home in Maryland. We were looking for a place to grab dinner and saw this on Yelp (sorry Tripadvisor). Wow! There is a fairly limited menu of either burgers, cheesesteaks or chicken dishes. But who needs a million choices when what they do, they do amazingly. We got the single patty burgers. You can go up to four, yes, four. We also ordered them with the fried cheese curd, which is a patty of mozzarella cheese that's deep fried and put on the burger. Did I say "yummy!" yet? Made with a fresh beef patty and put on a buttered bun, it was soooo good! The burger was just absolutely delicious. Best burger I've had in ages, hands down. And where can you get a fresh made burger for $5.99? I mean really, $5.99. The fried cheese curd added $2.25 but well worth it for still less than $8.50. We also ordered a side of fries and an order of onion rings. The onion rings were just how I like them with a crispy panko style coating. They were great! Again, best onion rings I've had in a long time, if not forever. We barely touched the hand cut fries due to filling up on the burger and onion rings, but they were also good. We got the Route 66 sauce on the burgers and a cup to dip the onion rings in. Again, delicious. Note that if you are looking for bacon on your burger, this is a Halal restaurant and there is none. I'm a big fan of bacon on my burger, but you won't need it, trust me. This is definitely a place we will be coming back to. A bit of warning that parking may be a little challenging for folks not used to driving in a city and inside the place is pretty tight. We did not have to wait for a table, but I imagine there could be a wait at times. But it would be well worth any wait!!“

“Penley's Pub is a recent addition to Dutch Wonderland. It's the first restaurant inside the park that serves alcohol and they have a great selection of local beers. They also have a few food options focusing on pretzels and sausages. The prices are decent given that it's inside an amusement park.“

“Had seen the billboard and we were in the area so decided to try it. We were both glad we did! My wife got a wrap with potato twists and I got the fried chicken plate. We both couldn't believe how good they were. Great waitress also. The pretzels are a great added bonus. Can't wait to come back and try other items.“

“This restaurant was GREAT. After the renovation, they upgraded not only the restaurant's interior, but their chef, menu, and workers as well. Everything was amazing. The workers were really friendly and came up multiple times to ask how the food was and to refill our drinks. Furthermore, the food was absolutely delicious. In particular, the firecracker shrimp was so yummy---the best shrimp I've ever had. Definitely, I'm gonna revisit it soon.“
