“Citizens bank is a great venue to watch the phillies or a concert, but I took my wife, daughter and her fiance to the phillies game on a beautiful Sunday afternoon all total it cost me over $500 between tickets, food and parking, it is ridiculous. The only soda available was a $10 collection cup of Zac Wheeler who pitched that afternoon no other options, it's ridiculous you aren't allowed to bring anything in then you're given no options but a $10 soda. Why am I forced to buy a collection cup for $10 no throw away cups, no small, medium or large one cup one size one price smh. I shouldn't have to pay a mortgage payment to take my family to what's suppose to be America's past time, they should rename it the elites past time because the normal working man or woman can't afford it.“

“This is a fabulous local restaurant and if I lived in the neighborhood I would be there at least twice a month. I was hosting some out-of-town visitors and we enjoyed between the three of us, two plates of pasta and a caprese salad and it was more than enough food and we also enjoyed our red and white BYOB wines. Afterwards we went down a block Dirty Frank's on the corner of 13th and Pine for a nightcap which completed a full circle Philadelphia experience.“

“The BEST cream filled doughnuts I have ever had. The filling itself is light and creamy with just the right amount of sweet. The texture of the doughnut was exceptionally well done as well. The peanut butter cream filled doughnut had peanut butter mixed in with the cream filling, the Nutella just has Nutella spread on top. Plenty of variety even in cream filled doughnuts. The flavor of the blueberry fritter was top 2 for a non-apple fritter. Not as heavy and crispy as I like a fritter though.Choosing from 2 cases of minimum 30 doughnut 0 do not recommend.Eating any variety of doughnut they have: 10/10 would recommend going every day for 2 weeks to try them all and enjoy favorites. “I lived in Seattle for almost two decades and will admit to being a bit of a coffee shop snob. The Nook hits so many of my high points. Extremely good locally roasted coffee (in-house!). Amazing baked goods. The cocoa coffee bread must be tried, but leave me a slice! Great staff. If I ever move out of the neighborhood, I'll journey to the Nook for a great cup and bite.“

“I live in South Philly and didn't even know this place existed. A friend told me about it and said it was good so I ordered from GrubHub and mannnn it did NOT disappoint! So much goodness in flavor and portion size. I tried the beef todero and tequeños and both were 10/10. I can't wait to try their arepas! My grandfather immigrated to Venezuela before coming to the US and used to make us some and haven't had any since. Looking forward to trying more.“

The menu has most all entrees in the high 20s and the portions were large. I thought the seafood - shrimp, calimary and clams over cappellini in a light red sauce was a bit underseasoned (no taste of garlic) but I was happy. If there was one thing that disappointed me it was the bread, which was not the standard crispy Italian bread but a semolina bread. “I have celiac disease and was at a medical conference in the conference center above Reading Market. Having celiac disease makes dining out that conference is an adventure. The staff were very helpful courteous. The food came quickly and was hot. I would recommend trying a corn dog as well as the poutine.“

I’ve tried so many flavors - even flavors I “knew” I wouldn’t like - and I still liked them! It’s wild how good Kia’s cakes are!!! Top favorites of their general cupcakes: Vanilla Oreo, Carrot cake, and Red Velvet! The cupcake specials for the holidays are amazing - and for Black History Month they did punny cupcakes that also told a story of the person that they were honoring - so sweet and important. Other foods that are there like the Iced Pound Cake and the Banana Pudding are equally as amazing as the cupcakes. Recently tried the “Irish Potatoes” which were a special for St. Patrick’s day - they have coconut in them, and I don’t like coconut - but I ate so many of Kia’s Irish Potatoes!!
