“The food was very flavorful and unexpected in a good way. Tasted even better than descriptions on the menu. Cocktails were really yummy too. Our server Heather was attentive and helpful. Really enjoyed the entire experience from beginning to end!“
“This is a secret gem in Crafton. The food was phenomenal, went with the J*** chicken and Ox Tail as recommended by the server. I'd easily pay double. The price was very reasonable, portions were very generous and flavor was explosive. The server was the point gentleman working at that particular point in time and the restaurant was half full but he handled everyone with grace and efficiency, maintaining a great attitude. I'll be a regular going forward!“
“Definitely the best Jamaican food I've ever had, I only wish I had gone to this place sooner. We tried the j*** chicken mac and cheese in addition to the brown stew chicken with rice, and they were both super flavorful and well portioned. I highly recommend trying this place for yourself.“
“Oooooo my Aunt showed me this place skeptical !!! But my taste buds told me different FOOOOOOD GOOOOD AS well get what I mean. Jerky chicken I ordered an we was fighting it spicy I mean spicy but worth tongue burn and tears. I ordered the curry chicken the following day killed it. An so much food for the price“
“food was incredible...we got the chicken and beef patties, plantains, wings, pepper steak with rice.. the sauce on the pepper steak and wings were out of this world. the only product i thought might have bee lacking was the beef patty. i was very satisfied though and we certainly will be back!“
“Coconut shrimp and paella are always the must-ordered here. Also tried the plantain bowl and it's good. We were told the key lime pie is 100% homemade here. Worth try because it comes with the novel comb that melt marshmallows on top. The dishes are a bit over seasoned but overall is good. A good chill place to go.“
“Just ordered from here 10/10 had the oxtails and curry chicken with two sides (white rice and Mac& cheese) I normally order from royal Caribbean but they was closing so I gave this place a try. This is now my second favorite soul food/ Caribbean restaurant in Pittsburgh. You can’t really find too many since it’s a predominantly white city but I’ll definitely order from here again and recommend this restaurant for people seeking real authentic Caribbean food. Only thing I would suggest for the restaurant is better Mac and cheese, mine was a little dry, I had to season it up a little when I received it. It Wasn’t nasty however, just dry. Other than that 10/10 must try again !“
“It looked like they might have been closing up when I got there, but fortunately they still served me. The jerk chicken was the best chicken I've ever had in my life. Absolutely amazing. Whoever cooked that chicken has my respect. This is my first time trying Caribbean food, now I want to go there. I like spicy food, so it was perfect for me, but do be aware that this isn't for bland people.“
“Ordered here for my birthday- main courses, appetizers and desserts for 6 people. Would highly recommend all of the food- my mom is Peruvian and she loved it! Would highly recommend the causa de atún, ají de gallina, mazamorra morada and arroz con leche. Not only did I have delicious food , but it was generously portioned for my birthday- a great birthday experience and plenty of food for my guests. Would recommend to anyone.“
