“We went with our daughter and son-in-law and had the choice of brunch or lunch since we arrived very close to 11: 00 am. They were gracious and helpful and we had a delicious meal. Looking forward to going again.”

“This place is amazing. Hidden gem. Owner is so, so nice. Everything is made to order andfresh. We ordered 6 beef, 6 chicken empanadas and two orders of homemade cheese fries. The cheese fries portions could feed multiple people. Very generous on the portion sizes. Worth the money. Incredible flavors. Husband liked the beef empanadas and I enjoyed the chicken ones. The empanadas aren't crunchy or oily, they're soft and perfect. The only issue that we had was that in the chicken empanadas, husband bit into and pulled out two large bones. He nearly choked. But.. the five star rating review still stands. The establishment is next to the McDonald's and across the street from the laundromat. Has plenty of parking and there's also seating outside. We will be returning for more.”

“I had 2 pancakes that were as big as my plate, I also had 2 dippy eggs with toast and potatoes. The food came out quick and it was all hot. The service was amazing. My friend was with me and she got everything I got except she didn't get potatoes and she got bacon and it was only $28 for the 2 of us. This diner is so cute. I 100% reccomend going here!”

“Picked up my wife at Harrisburg Airport and we were both hungry. This place was convenient and we had great food. I got brisket tacos and my wife had the ultimate grilled cheese with tomato soup. Service was great and beer was cold. A great local pub atmosphere. We would go back.”

“Came in on a random Thursday night, traveling in from out of town. Looking for a spot to get some good Indian food and beer(s). I can say the lamb jalfrezi was on-point. Spicy and flavorful. Slow cooked in the way that’s hard to do from a microwave. Ingredients were clearly fresh. Full bar and decent selection of draft beers and traditional bar food. Seems like a fun neighborhood hangout spot. You’re probably going to need to park on the street or walk. Will return.”

“Have been coming here for many years. Some of the best general tso and chicken I've had. Great lunch deals. Small family owned place with good service and always has food ready on time. Couldn't ask anything more from Chinese takeout”

“Went there a week or so ago with family that came in from out of town. We had a person with a gluten allergy, but she found the steak salad on the menu and was very happy with it. All of the food was great. The service was fantastic. And the prices were reasonable (for the world we are in right now). Have gone there a few times over the past few years and really don't ever recall having a bad meal or service. We will definitely be going back and really looking forward to trying the all you can eat crab in the summer... that sounds amazing!”

“Very rarely do you walk in to a place and feel comfortable, and yet rest in curiosity at the layers. It seems like any other small bar and grill that dots towns here in the east. A long clean bar and dim lights. 30 years or so ago there would have been ash trays on the bar I assume- but today all you smell is the good food from the back. The bartender was short, and sweet. Both in stature and conversation. We had a friendly conversation and I ordered a pizza to come get later. It was delicious. Stop by and see how many layers of this small little slice of comfort you can pull back.”

“Just had a "life changing 1/2 lb double cheese burger and fries!!! Wow I want to do it again! Look for Kelly, she got it all perfect and made sure I was all good. No complaints at all! It's still early, I might come back later for more!”

“J & J Pizzeria and Grille is very good. The pizza sauce has a very good flavor and the crust is the perfect consistency of crunch and softness. I would give them a solid 4 out of 5 and would eat here again. If I had any issue it's that there was a little bit more cheese than I prefer (ran over the crust) but it wasn't a big deal. I definitely recommend them.”

“Afternoon tea is very nice and the experience is what one would expect at a Victorian restaurant.It's worth coming once, but that about it.Some items like scones and some breads homemade, others clearly store bought.Staff very friendly and attentive.Atmosphere takes you back in time but place looks a bit worn bur acceptable.Food is inconsistent in quality but all ok .Nothing memorable.Food presentation very nice.Food paired with tea with each course which I likedAfternoon tea is $35 which for 3 courses seems resonable.”

“Super cute ice cream shop. Has dairy free soft serve and milkshakes, which is such a rare thing! The dairy free vanilla soft serve tastes so much like real soft serve (which I haven’t had in almost a decade due to finding out I’m allergic) but now I’m not missing out! Delicious! Staff is super friendly, very clean dine in area, portion sizes are huge for the price!”

“My Mom and I tried this place and we were so happy to have found a real Italian sub and pizza shop again. We did not have a place we loved for awhile and we will definitely be going back. Hot fresh calzone oozing with ricotta and my chicken parm sub was the fresh old school cornmeal bread. Nobody does it like this anymore.”
