Stick with pizza. Have given calzones and meatball hoagies several chances, not feeling them. Not everyone has this taste but tonight for the first time I asked for extra sauce, less cheese, and baked well done. Best it has been. The regular way is good too.
I am 70 yrs old and lived in the South Hills all my life. Mineo's pizza has always been my favorite pizza in the world since I was 8 or 10 yrs old, it's #1 to me!!! I have always heard some people say Fiori's on Capital Ave. in Brookline is better than Mineo's. I finally tried Fiori's today. I will say it was very good, but definitely not better than Mineo's. To me, Mineo's crust is better. Deep down I knew it would still be #1 to me. ? ? ?

I didn't like the first plain/traditional slice I had since they were taken from the traditional pie which just came out of the oven. They were both floppy (cheese fell off). After some time, when I asked for pepperoni and cheese slices, they were both really good. I believe when they reheated the slices, they were no longer floppy and cheese remained on the slices.
