They allowed me to bring in our own dessert to celebrate a college graduation too. Good selection of beers/ciders/mixed drinks. “We've been in NEW CASTLE for 14 months now and this is our go to restaurant and believe me when I tell you there are very very many restaurants here in NEW CASTLE that are good but Edwards is the best The food, the service everything the ambience is perfect and we love going there and enjoy every meal we've ever had there“

“A small town restaurant that brings diner vibes and a full stomach every time I go. I'll often head over to treat myself to after a long night at work. I never fail to leave there hungry or unsatisfied. It is also fairly easy on the wallet. I only ever spend around 17 dollars for a full meal drink and paying the tip. The only downside is location of parking. Due to being on a downtown road the only parking is across the street or around the corner. However don't let that stop you from visiting and grabbing a good filling meal“

“First time to J. Hicks was a blast!I am up from Tennessee visiting in laws and swing by here and loved it! It was Wednesday night, they have trivia night going, and it was burger night!I got the breakfast burger and it was amazing! We split the chicken tenders for an appetizer because our waitress said it is breaded in Frosted Flakes, 10/10!Our waitress Kayla was super kind and welcoming, she made the experience super warm and kind.I will be returning on my next trip, I wish I had a place like this in my hometown.Parking: You should be able to find a parking spot on the squareKid-friendliness: Multiple families were around along with kids menu“

“Had a large group in the back room tonight. Our server, Amanda was fantastic! Our drinks were always full, food came out fast and delicious. She offered suggestions, answered questions and even got in with us on teasing my husband. We had an amazing experience and will be back soon“

“Bill’s Sandwich on Wilmington ave., across from McDonald’s. Probably and I am being serious, the most customer centric staff of any place I have been. And they sell dogs and sandwiches? Well, that, and daily homemade soups. Wedding soup on Thursdays is as good as any other I have ever had. Stand your spoon up in the bowl full of greens, meatballs, chicken, orzo or some small pasta thingy. The stick has a great full chicken flavor. They have all these other soups too, but the wedding soup! Oh, and love the philly steak. On the hot sandwiches this place, heats the roll on the flattop. My pic has extra meat, and mushrooms onions and peppers. And please, get the yellow American cheese instead of the mozzarella. It complements the savory beef and onions so darn well. Oh, the service, why are they so darn nice? I mean everyone I’ve been in contact with that works there. I’m pretty sure it isn’t because of me. They have a drive through too, but just go inside. I usually call my order in. Oh! The gyros! I almost forgot about the gyros! They flattop the gyro meat to like a very slight crispness, and the lettuce is shredded. I don’t know why, but shredded lettuce is way better than big leaves of lettuce hanging out the edges of your sandwich. Inside is very nice. Clean and comfortable. Bill’s Sandwich, this place doesn’t miss.“

“The Corral is a great place to take kids in the summer for a cheap dessert. My nieces and nephews love their soft serve with sprinkles, and I always make sure to get a size baby (in a cup!). They have nearly all the ice cream they can eat, and often more, for a couple of dollars. There are limited flavors for the soft serve, but the milkshakes have more options.We once ordered fries here and let's just say anything non-ice cream is a mistake. Normally the ice cream comes out in like two minutes, depending on how busy it is etc. When we ordered food, it took almost an hour. The fries were okay but not worth the wait. Definitely stick to ice cream here.“

“This place is a little slice of heaven tucked away in Mercer, PA. The staff there are so open and inviting. I stayed 2 nights with friends and golfed, ate and enjoyed myself so much. It made me feel like I had known them all my life. The food was amazing. Had breakfast, lunch and dinner there and the food was amazing. The golf course is extremely well manicured and a great course for the outdoor experience. I highly recommend this place for someone looking for good food, great golf and making new friends!Dietary restrictions: Home cooked meals and had choices other than deep fried foods.“

“The place is very beautiful, I loved the decor, even the music they played was really good. The service was great. My only complaint is that the menu options disappointed me. Not many entrees sounded that good. I went with perogies, with kabasa and saurkraut. It was good at least. I had just expected better from all the reviews I had heard of the place.“

“A personal favorite with a simple menu. I love their dogs with everything and strawberry shakes. They have updated the interior but it is still the same layout it has been for as long as I can remember. I try to stop in at least once when I am in town.“

“Starwood Restaurant in New Castle PA is where I go locally when I want prime rib. Call first, but Sundays, oh man is it good. Great dining room. Reminds me of The Brown Derby. Service is always good. There is a front of house bar with nice dining area going on as well. Hey, they also have great hoagies. A very very good Philly Cheese. French dip.Starwood is a great go-to for meeting friends and family. I have no reservations about saying you will have a great lunch or dinner there.I had some great pictures of prime rib Linda and I got. But I delete my pictures after posting, and Google lost my (and everyone else’s) reviews.And that is how much I like Starwood. Updating places I really like, even after Google torched everyone’s reviews when they moved to Google Maps.“

Was very disappointed in the sirloin steak dinner I was expecting a big juicy steak but got a steak burger kind of thing. Loved everything else though, nice music, and prices are reasonable. “Excellent place the owner even came out to make sure that all was good. Just so you can park around back there is a back door which makes it easier to get out of the parking lot. We thought the food was delicious even the bread. lol We will be returning“
