Really great, quick, & attentive service for being in the airport, that's rare to find. I planned on only getting a drink (great Moscow mules), but comedian Kyle Kinane had a joke about how the true (un) official sandwich of Philly was the roasted pork broccoli rabe, sounded... gross... but I'll try anything. It was FANTASTIC. The flavor components just melded perfectly. Might have been better than any "Philly" I had while I was in town. Cheers to trying something new!
I am going to go out on a limb and say that Good Luck Pizza might just be the best airport food option, if you want to sit down and eat something that isn't fast food. The ambiance is very cool, if it weren't at the airport it would fit right in with Safran Turney's other Philly restaurants. A friend and I got through security only to learn our flight had been delayed (again) so we had too much time on our hands. Amazing food and service. Was seated quickly and ordered the pepperoni pizza and a draft beer. Food was out in 10 minutes and tasted delicious. The dining room is in terminal E of the airport, but was not overly loud like most Airport restaurants. My server was amazing and on top of every little detail. Next time I'm in PHI I will be back.
