“as long as quality coffee exists, cold wet gray days don’t make for the severe downer that they could be. stopped here before walking to Center City. ordered a large Americano—carefully crafted by the barista who took my order. the coffee was smooth and deep in flavor…served super hot which is a necessity on those chilly sun-less days. the service was pleasant. tbh, if i didn’t have a lunch destination, i would’ve ordered one of the signature liege waffle which look good. the cafe / coffee shop has plenty of seating with a warm yet modern feel whether you’re working, studying, or just need a moment of respite from the din of life. look forward to stop here during warmer days!“
“We had some amazing pastries from Barry’s today, while staying at Wildwood Crest. I recommend them if you are looking for something extremely delicious and unique. They have something for everyone. Chocolate chip, bars, chocolate covered waffles, buns, etc.“
“I just moved here from NC last weekend, and everywhere that I have been, people have been rude! I came here to get ice cream the other day it was warm outside. The Hispanic lady that I encountered was no nice, customer service was just amazing!!!! I just wanted to hug her lol because it definitely gave me hope that I won’t encounter rude people everywhere I go in Philly. The ice cream was delicious as well. Thank you!!“
“Love this place! Their grilled cheese and coffees are amazing & the special coffee flavors are always interesting & delicious. Definitely coming back to try the waffles! Pictured costs $11. Might have to sit outside or share a seat depending.“
“So yummy! Great staff, willing to modify your beverage however you’d like. They can even do less sugar if desired. They used real frozen fruit for their fruit smoothies which I definitely appreciated. The decor is fun and the location is clean and well maintained“
“Fast service, delicious breakfast food, and kind staff. Just a lovely place overall. It’s located inside a hip, open-concept food court. The bacon, egg, and cheese was crafted with a lot of attention. The cheese is folded into the egg and the bacon is crispy without being burned.“
“Every time I come here the staff are always nice and attentive. When it comes to the food, they have the best tasting breakfast menu in the area. I love pancakes and most places make them so thick that they soak up all the syrup, not this restaurant! This local eatery’s pancakes never disappoint so don’t hesitate to order a stack. When you visit this place you will get good food, great service and a warm welcome.“
“We spoke with someone on the phone before coming got here had a little trouble but it was resolved right away and we was seated right away food was 10/10 best thing was the grits amazing and we had the best waitress make sure to ask for her “Jay”“
“I've been going to this breakfast deli for about a month now. The food is great, customer service is great as well. The girls at the counter. They're very polite, always courteous. I haven't bought much here, to comment on any other food I'm always on the go in the morning before I go to work? I get the same breakfast Sandwich. Which is pork, bacon, egg, and cheese on wheat bread toasted and a side of bacon. The only problem I have with this store is there's no parking. I always have to park on the pavement. Luckily, I'm only there for a few minutes. I'm there in the morning during rush hour. Where you can't really stop on either side of the store.“
“Always plenty of seating, it's all comfortable. Most everyone is very welcoming. We had a slight delay when our soft spoken waitress started to get yelled at by an older worker. I don't know who was in the right but the older one saying she'd kick her ass isn't the best way to deescalate. Maybe she was hit as a child so that's the only conflict resolution she knows. The argument didn't come to blows. No one got physical. There was also a general but subtle smell in the place I didn't love. Not sure what it was. Most customers were getting takeout. There were a lot of people doing that. The place may have had a lot of seating available but the place was busy, busy. Very popular. All the customers were nice to staff and each other.Food came out FAST and hot. All tasted great. They have hot sauce at every table (and salt/pepper/sugar...). I've been here several times and it's always been a nice experience. That smell wasn't there before and I'd never seen arguments between employees except the most recent visit. We all have off days.So I'll certainly be back.“
“I didn't get to taste the food because one of her workers had a bad attitude. When dealing with the public professionalism is a must. I could have referred a lot of people that don't know it's there. Your tea was very good and I hope your service gets better. A vegetarian platter would be nice also.“
“I think this might be my favorite café on the east coast?Every once in a while I stumble upon a coffee gem randomly and that’s exactly what happened on this Philly trip.Ordered a pour over and asked the staff to make me whatever they suggest. I was not expecting to have one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had. When the staff mentioned, “notes of bergamot,” I didn’t take him seriously but my mind was seriously blown on the first sip. Never had that flavor in a coffee before (I drink and try a lot of coffee) and I’ve been thinking about it for the past week. Loved it so much, had to order something else. Also got a cinnamon roll because I saw people loved it. Thought it was good, but also thought it was like any other laminated pastry LOL will probably order it again though. What I loved about the staff was their knowledge and interest in coffee. In fact, I just went to a cafe in nyc hoping for the same experience. Ordered a coffee tasting flight, but got no explanation about what was from where or anything else and kept comparing it to my time at Thank You Thank You.If you love coffee, this is your spot.“
