“Fantastic burger joint! Probably the best burger I’ve had in pittsburgh (I got “the Applewood”). The girls behind the grill and at the bar were incredibly friendly, attentive, and just good people. I can’t wait to share this gem of a find with friends and family who visit! 10/10– will be back!“

“They added bone in chicken to the menu. The fried chicken sandwich was already top in the city along with Chickn. Now they’re also a contender for best fried chicken in town along with quik-it and giant eagle. Service is fast, flavor and quality are top shelf, and value is great to boot.“

“What a find! Flavorful, decorative and clean atmosphere, and very economical. Was looking for a walkable place from PPG that's good for a group and it's literally right across the street. The menu is build-your-own so everyone can get what they want (think Chipotle for Mediterranean food - but much better quality and flavor!). It's very economical too, which is rare for this area. They even brought our group free lentil soup samples that were SO good! They have a kids menu as well. Will be coming again!“

“Not the same as it was, but the new owner is passionate and the staff is top notch. I miss some of the charm of the old vibe, but the Pub is in the hands of someone who appears to care about the place, while following her own vision. Still one of the best spots to grab a Guinness, eat a little (good) pub food and share a good conversation.“

“Revised 3/2025: I forgot about Applebee's (sorry) bc I don't drive past it anymore on my regular driving routes. Hmm.. GOT an idea... DL the app & ordered their food. WoW! With the deals & combos + 2/$25 we EACH had basically 2 meals in 1. PS Spinach & Artichoke dip is soo FAB! I did have a tiny glitch, sucks when you don't realize it, till your back home :( However, I called, spoke to "Miss Becky" I believe was her name, and got it ALL resolved. She's got GREAT people skills, you know, works well with the public. Pleasant. Courteous. Understanding. VERY pleased WITH entire experience. The AMOUNT of food and the ending TOTAL. App it in the WONDERFUL economy!

“Primanti Bros gets the attention, but every time I come to Pittsburgh for a game I go to Peppi's. Home of the Roethlis-burger (fantastic) Peppi's is a must visit. It's also close to Yinzer's so there's plenty of places to pick up some gear before or after you grab a sandwich. I love this place!“

“Charred restaurant is inside the City Kitchen dining hall. Charred makes many flavors of burgers as well as some appetizers and salads.

I ate lunch here. I used my smart phone to access and order from the restaurant’s menu. About 10 minutes later, an employee brought my food to my table. I enjoyed my wagyu cheeseburger, truffle fries, and side salad.“

“Very solid burger spot with reasonable prices for a good quality and nice sized burger. They are known for a smash burger style. I tried a very simple single smash burger.The burger came with pickles, American cheese, pickles, Simply sauce, and a potato roll. The meat itself was pretty good. I would have preferred it be a bit more juicy, and thought it was a tad over cooked, but still good.The sauce has a slight acidity to it, and was pleasant. Almost like a horseradish flavor. A good amount of sauce as well. The pickles were nice and fresh. The bun was really good, as it soaked up the meat's juices and the sauce well. Decent cheese although a bit plasticy.All in all, a solid burger place. The meat is pretty decent, good sauce, good bun, and a decent price for the portion. I'd recommend trying them; they do the simple things correctly.

“Definitely, an experience took my grandmother out because the yard was closed, and we drove passes and saw a crowd of people. First, we thought it was a party because kids were playing in the middle of their yard and were able to find a parking space at the front very, very rare. She didn't want to sit outside, so we walked in. Both our faces were confused. One the beautiful employees from the first restaurant when you first walk in from the parking lot stopped what they were doing and explained the experience we was bout to have three separate restaurants in one building side-by-side each other three different menus and if you wanted to order from all three you could. It was very overwhelming, so we stuck with what we know chicken and salmon sandwich and fries with a salad from Elevate. There a twist to everything you buy, so if you bring your kids sn there funny about food, keep them home or head somewhere else you'll be wasting your money.“

“We went to the newly renovated Moon Township location. The food was absolutely amazing and flavorful! Portion sizes were huge! We’ll definitely be back. We gave the service a 3/5 stars not because of our waitress (she was outstanding) but because of the rude “front desk” employee! You can’t get it anywhere around here. That plus the amazing home fries that were super crispy and delicious. My husband loved his chicken schwarma which was super flavorful. “Went there for the first time on a Saturday for dinner. Nice place with lots of options. Our server who was doubling as cook was super nice and answered all our questions and special requests. I got the Cranberry Poppins salad. It was fresh, delicious and very large. The rest of my party had the fish sandwich, the chicken tenders and fries and the Alcove Burger. Everyone liked their food. We left just as the band was setting up. Would definitely go back again.“

“I’m a vegetarian and got the chicken tenders and fries as a special treat after my bike race. And let me tell you. Those chicken tenders and fries were probably some of the best i’ve ever had, made even better because of my craving and little veggie relapse. The chik tenders were perfectly crunchy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside, the fries were just crispy enough with a great taste. I got them with honey mustard and ketchup which I like to combine. The sauce was good too, it was pretty runny which I liked because it made the food even juicier. I was pigging out, eating fries and tenders in one bite, doused with sauce. Ultimate comfort food. Compliments to the chef for this heavenly experience. If chicken tenders and fries could get any better, I would simply start floating. Omg“

“Had dinner there Saturday first time. Treehugger burger and gearhead burger were very good as were the fries. Had risotto balls for appetizer, terrible. Risotto mushy and flavorless. Chef needs to add chicken stock, heavy cream and parm and not overcook. Coating was good and crisp. Will go back , but try meatballs instead!!“

After enjoying delicious made-in-house beef in the Allegheny Omelete served alongside potatoes (with the perfect amount of salt) and a side of horseradish sauce along with an order of fluffy scrambled eggs with made-in house-turkey, we deemed it one of the best breakfasts around! “We found this place during Covid and we order from them all the time! At least once a month for the last 2-3 years. The only thing I haven’t enjoyed are the Reuben rolls or balls. Absolutely love the loaded potato croquettes and the BEST Brussel sprouts ever. Please bring back the quesadilla with Mac and cheese and pulled pork. It was so good and it was my fiancés favorite. Everytime we order he asks if you guys put it back on the menu yet.“
