“Thank You. On 2/20 you opened your banquet room early for our family to get together after my mom’s service. Mom and Dad truly loved your restaurant and Lions Pride. They were a Monday night regular for your chicken and waffles for mom. And they even enjoyed their 60th wedding anniversary party here a couple years back. The food and hospitality were amazing. I am Thankful and grateful for everyone coming in early for this special occasion. Big shout out to Betsey and Kesey. You are both kind hearted and the service was outstanding. “Fun little neighborhood bar. They get crowded on Saturday nights but the place is hopping! I live in Md and my boys live in PA there and I always gotta have a fun night there when I visit. Bars in Md aren't as fun as this. They do karaoke and they play videos and a lot of 80s videos. The DJs make it really fun!! Nice atmosphere and very friendly ppl and the bartender is super nice!!!“

“This was a yelp find that ended up being a total diamond of a find. The drinks were well made and not overdone. The Brussel sprout appetizer is the best I have ever had. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, but the burgers are just amazing. Finally, dessert is just.... Wow. True creme brulee, made the way it was meant to be and in such a perfect abundant portion. We could not be more thrilled with our experience. The waitress we had, Heather, was just a font of information, she gave fantastic recommendations and made sure our first experience was just above and beyond. We will be back.“

“Superb food in a comfortable, upscale setting. I would make this one of my restaurants of choice for business meetings. I ordered the grouper and a Caesar salad. The fish was perfectly baked and seasoned, flaky and moist. The waiter brought my party a whole carafe of lemon water. Our seats by the window ensured our conversation wasn't overwhelmed by other restaurant patrons. No complaints. I'm looking forward to sampling some of their other dishes.“

“After numerous people recommending John Wright, my wife and I decided to give it a try for our anniversary dinner. We did make a reservation. Everything was excellent - from the time we walked in til we walked out. Our server was very friendly, attentive and knew the menu well. The crab and corn risotto starter was absolutely delicious. I could order just several of those and be happy. I had the crab stuffed Mahi Mahi - it was so good, I was sad when it was gone haha. My wife had the seafood manicotti. Another fantastic dish we'd order again. The dessert was a light but mouth watering cheesecake. We can't wait for a little warmer weather to dine outside. The view of the river is great from inside but even better when we walked out to the patio.“

“This is a typical dive bar but it is an awesome place they have incredible food specials and deals however the bar is a bit Smokey and dated but that's kind of its charm I guess you can still get a steak and potatoes here for about $5 which is unheard of so I have to say even if you get to go food this place is well worth a “

“This is one of the best bars I have ever been to. Great atmosphere and friendly staff, and I always seem to make a new friend everytime I step into the Rail Trail. The owners make you feel like family even if it's your first time. I always look forward to my next visit.“

Chad remembers your drink of choice and keeps them coming. Ambiance is good. “This is one of our regular breakfast location spots. Bring a jacket, especially on cold days because there seems no way to avoid the draft. Also, don't sit near the bar door because sometimes you smell smoke wafting in which is unpleasant. All of this said the wait staff is friendly and prompt. The menus are on the table. Sometimes the specials are fantastic but I'm a huge fan of their unique omelet menu. Huge fan of their taco omelet, which is just what it sounds like.“

“We stopped here by chance after a concert at the American Music Center in Lancaster . At first glance from outside, it just looked like a bar, not seedy, but maybe questionable. Once inside, you felt at home , a nice little neighborhood bar. The food was good and the service was ok and the prices were reasonable. I definitely would stop back in if I was in the area.“

“Indoor and outdoor seating. Very cozy place. I've never had a long wait. They have covered outdoor seating that even has heaters if you get cold. Service has always been wonderful. The mahi sandwich is fabulous. Great mac and cheese. Large portions of food. One of our favorite places to eat in York.“

“I need to do an update on my original review: we had a party of 5 people to celebrate my son's 23rd birthday this past Sunday evening. Two of us ordered cream of crab soup. It was like flavored water. Only 2-3 pieces of crab meat in an entire bowl and it ran off the spoon because it was so thin. Our waiter NEVER refilled our drinks. My son ordered a lemonade, but it was never delivered.On top of the poor service, an automatic 20% tip was added. There's no way our waiter deserved over a $40 tip.Nice portion sizes. We enjoyed the crab quesadilla, Kent Island Chicken with Crab Melt and a Cowboy Burger. Both sandwiches were served with hand-cut french fries. We arrived at 11:00am, by noon the restaurant was halfway full.“

“We had a large party here to celebrate my cousin and wife who came from England to visit and also celebrated my dad’s 94th birthday. We had all ages from 1 yo to 94 and the staff were helpful, gracious and very accommodating. The food was delicious! I especially loved the sweet potato fries to dip in maple syrup!“

“I have been coming here regularly since they opened, so have probably been here 25+ times. Their brews are good as well as their panini sandwiches, sliders and small bites such as cheeses. The Gouda cheese tray is pictured. I guess I ate my sliders too quickly to take any this time. They use all locally sourced ingredients, which is a plus. They used to have music here a lot, but it seems in recent years the owners may be focusing more on their expanded locations to Lancaster and ironspire. They have added to the rear area of their brewery recently as well as added additional outdoor seating for warmer weather. When it’s nice, I like sitting outside here, although that may invite some Columbia characters to stop for unwanted chats, so be aware of that.“

“The Tourist Inn can definitely be described as a "dive bar". But don't let that description undersell the amazing food, staff and owner of this facility. Over the years, I have come to find that the owner is such a wonderful woman. She also hires a great staff! Particularly Lacey and Amanda. The food is also very good, but unfortunately takes a while to be made. However, it is no problem to wait while doing one of their many games throughout the week! Trivia Night, Live Bands, BINGO, you name it!“

“A bit noisy. Only received 1 sushi menu for 2 people. This made it difficult to choose what we wanted by the time the server came to the table. I know better for nest time. Gater bites were quite tasty, and Grandma roll just as good as I remembered.“

“EJ was a great server! We never had to ask for refills, we got exactly what we ordered and we didn’t have to wait for extra napkins when we asked. This kind of service goes a long way for a big family. If you like Chilis and live on the West side of town, just make the drive across town to this location. It is 100 times better than the west York location!“

“This is my watering hole from way back! They are like family at this point!!! We have been through the pandemic and a lot of craziness. They stay open until 2am which a lot bars no longer do around here. Friday and Saturday there is always a dj and never a cover. They run weekly specials and specials for football nights. This is my local favorite dive bar.“
