“Okay so I had to grab my phone to make a review because I just ate the first crab and I am obsessed already!!!! I eat crabs for a living !!! These crabs were flavorful , so flavorful !!!! Fresh , and hot!!!!! I already know that this is going to be my number 1 spot all summer!!! And he threw an extra crab in for me !!! Amazing place to get small body crabs !! Highly recommend!!!!“
“Absolutely awesome food!! Before even touching the food, I snuck some fries and fries never tasted so good. The cheese steak egg rolls were the best I've ever had... crunchy outside and well seasoned, melt in your mouth inside.General Tso's Salmon and Shrimp was on point!Tina's Wings... while I prefer my wings fried a little harder, they were still very well prepared and tasted great!I will absolutely be back and telling everyone they need to check this restaurant out!“
“Every dish was incredible. Just what we were looking for. My husband had the oysters and the scallops, I had the ceviche and sea bass. All fantastic. Impeccable service. Fun to eat at the open kitchen counter and watch the cools do their thing. I'd visit again.“
“Customer service was exceptional. Seating area was a bit small but everyone was so friendly and worked as a team. Honestly the best service I ever had. I went for restaurant week and ordered the shrimp creole. Omg I cleaned my plate and was still salivating over the idea of more when I got home. My partner ordered the crab soup and the salmon. Eyes rolled in the back of his head y’all. Everything was so well and for my first time they left a lasting impression. Would definitely dine here again. I’m just disappointed the shrimp creole isn’t on the regular menu.“
“We came for lunch and it really hit the spot. A variety of oysters are on the menu and we had fun trying all of them. The grilled salmon salad was excellent, especially if you like arugula. The salmon was so wonderfully cooked, melty inside and nice char outside. The fries are also delicious.“
“Our server Elizabeth, along with all others who took care of us, created a spectacular experience for our family. Our celebration was special and they were sure to enhance it, including a special card for the guest of honor. Our meals were spectacular from drinks to desserts.“
“So I'm gonna give Estia a 4, an average of 2 different visits (one was a 5/5 but the other was a 3/5). My first time at Estia was years ago for restaurant week and their lamb chops were one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten in Philly. More recently, I visited a second time. The lamb chops were a tad too salty this time so I was disappointed by that. My favorite item from the recent visit was the cheese saganaki which had nice flavor. My party did not enjoy the spanakopita. It was pretty bland. My friend loves spanakopita so she was excited to order it but she was very underwhelmed. I wouldn't recommend ordering that appetizer. We got the spreads pikilla, which came w/ 3 different spreads and pita. The spreads were pretty good! I've had better but they weren't bad. The fried calamari was one of the better calamari's I've had and the dipping sauce was really good too. The grilled shrimp was scrumptious but overpriced for just 4 pieces. Unfortunately the pasta ala grecca was very dry. It seemed like it was reheated. My partner got the chicken which was tasty and came w/ a flavorful orzo. I probably won't go back to Estia for a little while b/c of how the most recent visit went, with so many inconsistencies. But I'd love to circle back at some point, especially since I was so impressed during the first visit. The service is pretty good!“
“Very small intimate space with the open kitchen directly on the floor. Had an incredible experience here! The staff was super friendly and bantered with us all night. The stand out to me was the scallop toast, it practically melts in your mouth. Though everything we had was excellent flavor and presentation wise. I will absolutely be back!“
“We had the best service with Kate! She gave us tips on what to order and ahead of time was dead on. We started with a cocktail and had a glass of wine with dinner. We split the spicy chicken empanadas, delicious, however, we did not detect the spice. We split the green chili Caesar. Honestly, the best Caesar in town. I do t see how they get it so cold and crisp, it's amazing! We then each had a ceviche. The baby shrimp, which were much bigger than anticipated, such wonderful flavor! My daughter had the crab, the server suggested mixing it right away to get the sauce mixed in. Very good! It did need more liquid. We simply poured the extra shrimp sauce in the crab, it was superb after that. The tomato on the shrimp just gives it more moisture and such a good flavor! We can't wait to go back!“
“Illata is truly the perfect restaurant experience. Amazing food and amazing service with the perfect ambiance. Everything wowed us but the chicory salad, tuna, and banana cream puff were to die for. Illata deserves every accolade! Highly recommend to everyone!“
“Came here on a Tuesday and was surprised to learn about the $50 special on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. You get to choose any Appetizer, Entree & Dessert& get a complimentary bottle of house wine. My sister and I weren't drinking, so they let us take the bottle of wine home. I had the meatballs to start, followed by the gnocchi gorgonzola and finished off with a tiramisu. The portion sizes were great, given that we got it on a special deal. I even had leftovers to bring home. The food didn't really blow me away though. Would I come back to try other items on the menu? Only if the Tuesday/Wednesday menu is still available.“
“Really great. I had the Chongqing spicy broth, wagyu, head on prawns, scallops, and lamb as my meats and went crazy in the self serve area. Great quality meats and vegetable selection. Broth was good, service was good. I had to wait for about 1 hour because you cannot make a reservation for a 2 top, but it was well worth it. I left completely satisfied for 40 dollars plus tax, no uncharged. Highly recommended.“
“What a wonderful experience we had here. We had a reservation at 8:30pm, luckily for us we were the only ones eating at that time for the omakase. The chef was able to make all the sushi and serve us quickly, which was nice. All the fish was fresh and tasted delicious ?. Kimchi Omakase is truly a gem for the price. I will be back, I recommend you give them a try.“
“Came here for a business dinner. It was really an amazing experience. This place is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. It's a tapas style tasting menu so they just bring you out like a dozen different dishes. The portions were perfect and everything was cooked to perfection. The ambiance is really nice and although the space is small it's not loud at all. I thought the waiter was also very nice professional and knowledgeable. This is definitely a high end place that is worth a visit. This may be one of the best restaurants in Philly.“
“Everything is perfect. Foods delicious, servers are kind, atmosphere is beautiful. If you want to try Turkish cuisine, you should try here. I had mixed grill. Lamb sish and chicken sish were so soft and juicy. Rice was really good with döner. As a starter Arnavut ciğeri, ezme and cheese rolls were amazing. For desert I can definitely recommend Kunefe. You won’t regret.“
“This space is breathtaking. From the first few steps in, you know it’s going to be a good food experience. Meticulous detail on decor and the dishes. We had an oyster appetizer, fresh and well treated. We tried their pasta dishes and the spicy chicken sandwich and neither disappointed. Hands down best restaurant in the city.“
“Waitress was very knowledgeable about the cuisine. Other staff were friendly and courteous. Food was excellent, tastes wonderful and plated beautifully. The interior might remind you of an old time elegant railroad car with curved ceiling, crystal chandeliers, etc. great place for special occasions.“
“Srinagar has the best samosa chaat in the area. Their takeout packaging is careful and food is kept in a double layered thick brown bag so you don't have to worry about a spill. And if you're lucky, you might just find a surprise complementary dessert in it.“
“I went here with 2 of my friends for the first time for their Happy Hour (4-7 pm). We arrived early and was seated right away. Our server Jasmine was very nice. She made great food recommendations. Drinks were delicious and so were the items for Happy Hour. We will definitely go here again. Love this place again.“
“My husband and I went for our anniversary tonight and everything was delicious! We got the Canadian bacon as an app, lamp chop and filet for dinner with baked potato and broccoli and brownie Sundae to finish. The vibe was also beautiful and shnazzy.“
“For someone who never leaves reviews, I HAVE TO with this place. For starters, our waiter Matthew (Matt) was so fun and comfortable. Loved every second of his atmosphere. SECONDLY, the food was to die for. The kona rub steak has been on my mind since I ate it. Price was phenomenal when you get a beautiful seat, amazing food, and fun energy. 10/10 RECOMMEND“
“Four of us went there last night and all had a great time. The prices are through the roof; the bill for the four of us was $605, but it was worth it. Every single morsel of food and drop of liquid is superb; I can't even single any one item out. The staff members are all pleasant and professional, including the runners who deliver the food and take away the empty plates. They give me one more reason to believe that immigration is such a great thing for our country, despite what a certain narcissist politician and his cult followers might say. I want to give a special shout out to our server, Jim Cheatam, who has a terrific personality. It would be enough reason to go to Ocean Prime just for Jim, but there is so much more. If you have the dinero, visit Ocean Prime for a special treat. And get the Black Orchid, my favorite cocktail of all time!“
“Been craving for a good clam chowder and my husband took me here. I've had quite a lot of clam chowder in my life and this place has by far the best clam chowder i've ever had hands down. Came back three more times for the clam chowder and to try other things of course. The food is okay, little heavy handed on the salt for all other foods i've had except for the clam chowder. Would probably tell them less salt in the future since now I know. Customer service so far has always been 10/10, super nice and attentive. Would def keep coming back but tell them less salt on everything lol“
“THIS is the place to be.What a wonderfully warm and friendly atmosphere, from the hostess to the servers to the other guests. Cute decor with a lot of tables that are in close proximity to one another.THIS is the place to eat.OHHH-EMMM-GEEE the food is incredibly delicious. The portions are generous. The menu selections are great and it’s difficult to choose - and then they have daily specials, which makes it even harder because you want to try it ALL!CASH only- no cards accepted.BYOB and the staff will gladly provide the appropriate glassware.Scannicchio’s is a family place…..the employees are all family and when you’re there you feel like family. MY family, we LOVE Scannicchio’s! It’s our family tradition. La mia famiglia. Mangia bene.Parking: Parking is where we you find a spot! Usually a spot can be found on Broad Street.“
“great food and drinks! service was good as well! a little pricey tho! we spent over $250 for 2 people so keep that in mind!Parking: the restaurant is under the hotel so you use hotel parking and if its busy or the hotels booked up you might have to park far and walk a little. there is valet service though but it is not free!“
“This place is just recently opened and received pretty good reviews, so I decided to try it out.everything we ordered was tasty with a generous portions, but the flavor was just too sweet for me and my boyfriend. I know Thai food is sweet, but this is another level of sweet. And the coconut noodle soup, it has no flavor and tasted so coconuty. It would have been better if they use rice noodle or glass noodle instead of vermicelli noodle. The ambience is plain, but it looks new and clean. The color of the building looks unattractive in my opinion.Service is good, but it takes awhile for the food to come out. They seem to be more busy with takeout orders.Overall, a decent Thai food with good portion and reasonable price. Tip: pay in CASH, you’ll get 5% off and they also accept Venmo.“
“One of the best authentic Italian seafood restaurants in the tri-state area. Top notch in every sense Thee isn’t anything on these menu that isn’t fresh tasty and made exactly like I remember growing up. Bravo Tommy Anastasi and your crew.“
“Get the fries. They said to order 2-3 plates per person. We got 6 items for 3 people and could have gone with one less.Ranking:1. House fries were hands down our favorite2. The Korean BBQ tofu was also fantastic if you like spicy foodsThe avocado toast, meatballs, and Bao buns were all good. But the calamari just tasted fried and not much else.Yes, it’s loud, but just come prepared. Overall a fun and tasty plant based experience.“
“A Hidden Gem: Fantastic Food and Heartwarming AtmosphereDuring a recent road trip, my brother and I stumbled upon the Piston Diner, and what a delightful find it was! From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with the comforting aroma of home-cooked meals. The food at Piston diner was simply outstanding, some of the best we've had in a long time. Each dish was bursting with flavor and made with obvious care and attention to detail. From classic diner staples to mouthwatering specialties, every bite was a taste of culinary perfection. Our server was exceptional, providing attentive and friendly service throughout our meal. Their warmth and professionalism added to the overall positive experience. It truly felt like dining among friends, thanks to the camaraderie and genuine hospitality present in the atmosphere. One aspect that stood out to us was the unmistakable sense of family at piston diner. From the way the staff interacted with each other to the comforting ambiance, it was evident that this establishment is more than just a place to eat - it's a community hub where patrons are treated like extended family.Furthermore, we were deeply touched by the diner's evident respect and appreciation for the military. It's heartening to see a business that honors those who serve our country, and it speaks volumes about the values upheld at Piston diner. If we lived in the area, Piston diner would undoubtedly become a regular haunt for our family. It's the kind of place where you feel at home from the moment you walk in, and where the combination of delicious food and heartfelt hospitality keeps you coming back for more.In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Piston diner to anyone passing through or residing in the area. Whether you're craving a hearty meal, a friendly atmosphere, or simply a sense of belonging, this diner exceeds expectations on all fronts.Cheers to Piston diner for an unforgettable dining experience - we'll definitely be back! Side note: there was one employee that was working the front who was an older gentleman that was pretty crabby with the employees for the duration of the time I was there and seemed to effect work place morale negatively.“
“Such a cute little place!! Got the salt & pepper shrimp w/ rice, shrimp & pork dumplings, and lobster summer rolls. The cashier was soooo sweet and brought our food out to us. It was delicious. HAD to get more dumplings to go!! These pics don't do any justice“
“One of the best and authentic Indonesian restaurants in the states. The other one is in Atlanta GA. As a native Indo, I highly recommend this place. Service was good. Space is quite tight but expected for Philly. Food is so good. So good. Get the ketoprak, Satay ayam/ grilled skewered chicken with special peanut sauce, for sure. We drove 9 hrs one way and it was worth it. Makasih banyak mbak2.“
“Nestled in the heart of Newtown Square, Teca offers a slice of Italian charm, reminiscent of a quaint trattoria tucked away in the rolling hills of Tuscany. This ristorante buzzes with the warmth of hospitality, where the clinking of glasses and the rich aromas of house-made pastas and Neapolitan pizzas blend to create a symphony of the senses. The wine list is a curated collection of Italian vintages, each bottle telling a story of vineyards bathed in Mediterranean sun. At Teca, every dish is a celebration of time-honored traditions and contemporary flair, a testament to the restaurateurs’ passion for exceptional culinary experiences. Whether it’s the delicate balance of flavors in their signature dishes or the attentive service that makes you feel like famiglia, Teca is not just a meal; it’s an invitation to indulge in la dolce vita.“
“LOVE this quaint, affordable, and really delicious spot. First time there and the place was full when we got there but I can understand why! It’s because the food is delicious and the people there are so freakin’ nice!! I am definitely going to be coming back and maybe (most likely) frequently!!“
“Went to SkyHigh to celebrate a friend's birthday. She was so surprised at the choice. The lunch selection was wonderful. We both ordered the cod which was prepared and presented well. The apple pie with pecan ice cream we ordered for dessert was delicious. Loved the crust - light and flaky. The ambiance and view of the city was spectacular. Table Service by Alecia was attentive. Definitely a place to visit again.“
“This place is a vibe! Black owned brunch spot. I found this place thru Google search. There’s free parking too. Service was excellent, our server was Sean who was very personable & friendly. As a matter of fact all the wait staff was friendly. We had “the status” cocktail that packed a punch- really delicious, served w/ edible flower & strawberry. My party had Cheeseteak & chicken cheesesteak rolls, chicken & waffles and shrimp platter w/ steamed vegetables. Taste & presentation 9 out of 10. I wanted the shrimps to be a lil bit bigger, but they were delicious!!! We will definitely be returning to try more of the all day brunch menu.“
“This place has something for everyone to eat and drink. The atmosphere would likely create boredom for children. The bar menu is fun and reasonable. The staff knows what they are doing. The tables and decor are on point. The front and back of house communicate smoothly and make your experience what you need it to be.“
“I know seafood establishments are popping up all over the place now, and I can say I think I've just about tried every one of them. I must say this has been one of the best ones that I've had thus far. The crabs' legs were fresh, the shrimp was a nice size and not overcooked ?, the broccoli was nice and crisp, the corn was amazing, the potatoes was just right and the overall seasoning was perfect ??. And the customer service was excellent. Will definitely recommend this restaurant as one of the best seafood spots in Philly. Hat's off to the cook, owner, and staff.“
“Best Indian food around! My favorite takeout place and my guilty pleasure— SO much flavor and so many vegetarian options. Can’t stop recommending this place. Dal makhani, ekta dal, and paneer tikka masala are my go-tos. Bf can’t get enough of the butter chicken“
“Delish food - n of 3 times been so far and every time has been on point. Prices are definitely respectable (except $4 for extra pico) and the servers have always treated us nicely. Definitely recommend for Cantina food in the middle of Philly.“
“Everything was awesome.Only down side was by aunts green beans were like warm.Everything wise, AMAZING.lobster ravioli, crab cakes, salmon, drinks, oysters. Service was great. Hostess , waitress... Loved it!I'm VERY picky about my food.“
“The food is amazing and not the typical Vietnamese offering. The restaurant switches up the menu quite frequently, so you almost never know what is going to be available when you go there. It is definitely a great date place and it is located in a very fun neighborhood.“
“The smell of old bay/chesepeake seasoning can be smelled from all the way outside, it’s a little hidden gem in Paulsboro I highly suggest for the best quality seafood in South Jersey. The seafoods fresh, and can be picked up to cook at home or they also do lunch and dinner platters… I just bought my guys at work lunch and everyone was blown away! I highly suggest the hog shrimp!“
“My wife and I love a good BYOB and were not disappointed here! My wife got the seafood special of the night (stuffed flounder with crab meat) and I got the pasta special (half lobster and scallops served over pasta with a rose sauce). We absolutely loved it and the atmosphere was wonderful. We will absolutely be back!“
“Dom and Mia’s is one of the best places to eat in Springfield. Me ,My wife and one-year-old son went out to eat last night and the food was amazing and the service was outstanding. The owner of the restaurant personally wiped down the highchair before giving it to us. They were very accommodating and understanding to our little guy. The service was perfect and so was our food. Thank you guys.“
“Food was incredible, the atmosphere was lively and warm. I felt the service was super, helping me understand the menu and giving me tips with what I should order. This is the best Chinese food I've ever had, hands down. The winter melon tea is delectable btw“
“I have been to other Luke’s lobster location, this one is paritcularly spacious and food quality is consistent. I got the warm lobster roll, spicy honey lobster roll, and lobster mac. Most of the rolls are cold, so it is nice to try the warm lobster roll and have to order one of my favorites – spicy honey lobster roll as well. Lobster Mac on the other hand is alright, the pasta they used is quite unique but flavor wise is just okay, and not a huge fan of the breadcrumbs on top.“
“This place is a gem . Don’t know why it wasn’t busy as hell when we went there because the service was great, the food was easily the best Chinese I’ve had in the city, and the portions were at least twice the size of any other place I’ve been to. Expect family style and leftovers . Orange chicken , hot and sour soup , scallion ginger shrimp and salt and pepper tofu are all perfected versions of themselves.“
“I love this place bec they promote people to dance, even if a person has 3 left feet & they offer lessons! I sometimes feel intimidated bec everyone is so good on their feet! The professional couples that dance make it look awesome! They make you want to learn & they look so romantic! The food is what it is! They don't do fine dining & that's OK! The food is secondary for The Crab Tavern as it should be! This venue knows what works for them! My hats are off to them! The part to them focusing on the dancing, most songs they play are geared to folks wanting to dance & most of the time the floor always has people dancing! It's not like a regular club where the dance floor stays empty! Or worse yet, there are only females dancing by themselves! I'm not saying I don't understand why they do that! At a regular club, the females dance with each other bec the men are intimidated or don't know how to dance!Or they need a couple of drinks to loosen them up!“
“Attended a funeral luncheon for my best friend's father. Food was very good and wait staff was very attentive and helpful. My first time there even though I grew up in DELCO and just a few miles down the road. I'm sorry I missed out for so long!“
“The food is usually great every time I order but recently the service had declined. I was told a 20 min wait once I returned I was told another 10 or more because they are busy in the kitchen. If you want good fresh seafood cooked this is a good spot. Customer service is another issue.“
