“They have really fresh multi size and price blue crabs. Along with all thy other seafood items raw or cooked. “Jodi” the service is tough but to know her is to love her, she’s been there through COVID. So she’s always great and very detailed with the orders whether it’s a phone order or dine-in. They also sell out fast. So make sure you call in or go early in the day. APlus for me always ?Parking: They have an on-site parking lot that's attached to the restaurant. With about 8-10 spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis. (free of charge) Difficulty only when their business. Most people place orders to go. So I never had a problem parking.Kid-friendliness: They have seating away from the bar…. booths and four top tables.Wheelchair accessibility: The Entire restaurant is on one level, including the restrooms with a wheelchair assessable stale.“
“Cap'N Cats was a Favorite of our family, especially my Dad and mines, when I was a kid in the 70s. I hadn't been there in years. So, on My Dad's birthday I brought my Mom there for Clams on the Half shell, and a Fried Oyster platter. The platters were large in portion. So much so, we had platters for the next day. }“
“I’m 50 years old and been doing Chinese food all my life. This place is honestly the best for takeout- I’ve only gotten fresh food, always taste great and as it should, they make accommodations as needed, the prices are reasonable. I really hope they don’t change a thing.“
“Every dish was incredible. Just what we were looking for. My husband had the oysters and the scallops, I had the ceviche and sea bass. All fantastic. Impeccable service. Fun to eat at the open kitchen counter and watch the cools do their thing. I'd visit again.“
“Food and drinks are fantastic, service was friendly and attentive. Slightly slow and slightly overpriced though.. but still gonna come back for round 3! Loved The entrees in the new updated menu!Dietary restrictions: All servers asked about restrictions prior to service“
“Took my wife here during a conference trip to have a nice lunch and I must say the overall experience did not disappoint. We ordered an assortment of different oysters to start with. Sampling the flavor profile of each oyster was not only delicious but extremely fun as a couple. After oysters and wine, my wife ordered the lobster roll and I had the house clam chowder. The lobster was perfectly cooked and the position size was double that of the perfectly toasted and buttery brioche bread it was on. The fries were homemade and very good. I will say that they could have double fried them to make them a bit more crispy but overall very good. The clam chowder was very rich with smoke amounts of bacon, the smokey flavor from the bacon was a nice addition. The waiter was very attentive and took the time to engage and make a human connection, which is much appreciated. Overall, great experience and I would return here in the future.“
“I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at this restaurant - it exceeded my expectations!Located in the heart of center city, the restaurant boasts a spacious interior with a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it perfect for families, couples, or friends. The menu features classic Greek dishes, and I thoroughly enjoyed everything I tried. The saganaki appetizer was a delightful start, and the moussaka entree was incredibly flavorful. The service was excellent - the staff were attentive and perfectly timed with their service.I will definitely be returning whenever I'm in the mood for Greek cuisine in the city. Oh, and don't forget to check out the spacious and beautiful bathroom too!“
“Everything is perfect. Foods delicious, servers are kind, atmosphere is beautiful. If you want to try Turkish cuisine, you should try here. I had mixed grill. Lamb sish and chicken sish were so soft and juicy. Rice was really good with döner. As a starter Arnavut ciğeri, ezme and cheese rolls were amazing. For desert I can definitely recommend Kunefe. You won’t regret.“
“Our server Elizabeth, along with all others who took care of us, created a spectacular experience for our family. Our celebration was special and they were sure to enhance it, including a special card for the guest of honor. Our meals were spectacular from drinks to desserts.“
“Excellent!! White mussels, hot sausage, dinner included salmon, pasta in a delicious and delicate white sauce, lamb, and a pasta in a rich red sauce! Consistently perfect! Don't miss Verona! order anything on the menu and you'll leave completely satisfied. We ended with cannoli and an angel layer cake made with milk and so light and perfect!“
“Very small intimate space with the open kitchen directly on the floor. Had an incredible experience here! The staff was super friendly and bantered with us all night. The stand out to me was the scallop toast, it practically melts in your mouth. Though everything we had was excellent flavor and presentation wise. I will absolutely be back!“
“We had the best service with Kate! She gave us tips on what to order and ahead of time was dead on. We started with a cocktail and had a glass of wine with dinner. We split the spicy chicken empanadas, delicious, however, we did not detect the spice. We split the green chili Caesar. Honestly, the best Caesar in town. I do t see how they get it so cold and crisp, it's amazing! We then each had a ceviche. The baby shrimp, which were much bigger than anticipated, such wonderful flavor! My daughter had the crab, the server suggested mixing it right away to get the sauce mixed in. Very good! It did need more liquid. We simply poured the extra shrimp sauce in the crab, it was superb after that. The tomato on the shrimp just gives it more moisture and such a good flavor! We can't wait to go back!“
“What a wonderful experience we had here. We had a reservation at 8:30pm, luckily for us we were the only ones eating at that time for the omakase. The chef was able to make all the sushi and serve us quickly, which was nice. All the fish was fresh and tasted delicious ?. Kimchi Omakase is truly a gem for the price. I will be back, I recommend you give them a try.“
“We've been here several times since it opened, and have experienced good service and food each time. Several of the dishes have been on the menu each time, but some have been tweaked with different ingredients, making them a little different (even though the original was already worth trying again). The "Brown Butter" dessert, the name of which sounded rather unappetizing on our first visit, turned out to be one of the highlights. Definitely try it. Prices are also reasonable, for a more upscale establishment.Kid-friendliness: It's a quiet, intimate environment. Go for a date night and leave the kids with a sitter.“
“My husband took me here for date night the atmosphere was great. Our sever was also great! I ordered the lollipop lambchops and my husband had steak which I am not really a fan of. My lambchop was delicious! But for $63 I don’t understand how no sides come with the meats. We also had the lobster mac & cheese which blant; The lollipop, lamb chop and sauce made up for it. But again the fact no sides are served with your meat is crazy! The bread basket you get while waiting for food was also good.Parking: We were able to pull right into a parking spot.“
“If you require a special diet or just choose to have a specific diet, THIS IS THE PLACE TO DINE! They have Gluten-Sensitive, Vegetarian, Lactose/Dairy Sensitive and Vegan menu items! The Gluten-Free Chicken Pesto Flatbread and the G-F Pepperoni Flatbread are so freaking good! The Scallops with Mascarpone Risotto so Phenomenal and GLUTEN-FREE! The Cedar Plank Salmon is so delicate, delicious and GLUTEN-FREE! You definitely want to try the the Chilean Sea Bass! Wow! What a treat! The Korean BBQ Baby Carrots are nice and spicy. With NO Spiked Cider or Seltzer choices here, I recommend red wine, specifically San Giovese! Our servers McKenzie and Evan were attentive and engaging. BTW, all meals are under 590 calories. Be sure to make your reservations now for a really nice evening out.Vegetarian options: Several menu options.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-Sensitive, Lactose/Dairy Sensitive, Vegetarian, and Vegan menu items are available.“
“Went for the first time to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. The food and drinks were phenomenal, the atmosphere was very classy with Sinatra playing in the background, but the best was Sam, our waiter. What a guy! Excellent service, jovial conversation, and the voice of an angel. Would definitely recommend and plan to return to see Sam once again.“
“Really great. I had the Chongqing spicy broth, wagyu, head on prawns, scallops, and lamb as my meats and went crazy in the self serve area. Great quality meats and vegetable selection. Broth was good, service was good. I had to wait for about 1 hour because you cannot make a reservation for a 2 top, but it was well worth it. I left completely satisfied for 40 dollars plus tax, no uncharged. Highly recommended.“
“This space is breathtaking. From the first few steps in, you know it’s going to be a good food experience. Meticulous detail on decor and the dishes. We had an oyster appetizer, fresh and well treated. We tried their pasta dishes and the spicy chicken sandwich and neither disappointed. Hands down best restaurant in the city.“
“An amazing experience from end to end!I'll be honest, I had mixed feelings about the pre fixe menu. I loved the idea of checking my stomach at the door and allowing the chef to do their thing. On the other hand, would I like it? Would it meet my growing expectations on FSS?The answer was, in spite of significant hype and exceedingly high expectations, absolutely amazing. The only things you need to think about with regards to FSS is when you'd want to make a reservation and what cocktail(s) you might want along with your meal!“
“Very good restaurant but it feels like they're still working out the kinks. Service was friendly but a little haphazard. Food was delicious but a little pricey and not the best presentation. Not quite up there with the best but still highly recommended.“
“Our first time here was absolutely fabulous. The food was perfectly cooked and seasoned, ranging from our appetizers to the steaks and seafood as main courses. The cocktails, of course, were well made, accompanying a deep breadth of wine options from various regions around the world—a fine mix of approachable wine along with premium options that paired well with every menu offering. Aside from the food and drink, the SERVICE was beyond impressive and elevated. From the concierge, to the para-service professionals, and our service specialist KWAME, each and every staff member acted with utmost professionalism, grace, and tact. Hospitality standards at its finest. Kwame treated us with undeniable poise, refinement, kindness, and great knowledgeability about the establishment's product and menu offerings while still remaining approachable, relatable, and attentive. As first time diners there, we felt secure and well-cared for by Kwame and his kind approach. This experience left a highly remarkable impression and guarantees that we will visit again very soon and make Eddie V's in Cherry Hill a trusted addition to our fine dining spots for my family every time I come down to visit from New York.“
“Considering I studied abroad in Italy and lived there as a 16 year old, I know Italian when I see it.At Spasso’s, it’s exactly that. From the Service to the food to the atmosphere. The food was everything Italian. The sauces were blended with home grown Italian spices and the calamari was as fresh a crisp as can be.The Seafood pasta that had can with a red blush sauce. The fresh seafood stood out amongst the sauce although it was very well seasoned. Not to mention, the bread, just like Italy. From the wooden floors to the dim lighting, I thought I had took a trip to Europe and landed in Italy.Spasso’s, try it for yourself!“
“Srinagar has the best samosa chaat in the area. Their takeout packaging is careful and food is kept in a double layered thick brown bag so you don't have to worry about a spill. And if you're lucky, you might just find a surprise complementary dessert in it.“
“I saw this place on social media so wanted to check it out. You have an amazing idea here. I thought the Z thing was only for the menu but they have their employees substituting Z’s for everything. It’s funny, it’s an experience. Great customer service IMO.Y’all need to update your address or business page on google maps, this location shows one place. I saw another location on your website, this review is for the truck at 3400 Fox St. I’m not even sure what this business page address is for. Maybe this is an old location?Onto the chicken cheesesteak. I got one with fried chicken tenders inside, lettuce, and I think they put some kind of hot sauce as well. The bread this comes on is incredible. If you want anything HEALTHY, DO NOT come here, I’m reading that it’s deep fried bread. Whatever they do to it, I could’ve ate it alone. The fried chicken inside is seasoned well. It’s kinda too much and falls apart as a result but who cares, eat some first with a fork then eat the rest. I got fries here but they were just okay. I want to come back and try something else.“
“Alpenrose in Philadelphia is an absolute delight! From the moment you step inside, you're transported to a cozy Alpine retreat. The menu is a culinary journey through the Alps, featuring hearty and delicious dishes that warm the soul. Whether you're indulging in their famous fondue, savoring a perfectly cooked schnitzel, or enjoying one of their delectable desserts, each bite is a taste of Alpine perfection. The ambiance is charming and welcoming, with rustic decor and attentive staff that make you feel right at home. Plus, the extensive beer and wine selection perfectly complements the meal. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply craving authentic Alpine cuisine, Alpenrose is the perfect destination for a memorable dining experience“
“I went here with 2 of my friends for the first time for their Happy Hour (4-7 pm). We arrived early and was seated right away. Our server Jasmine was very nice. She made great food recommendations. Drinks were delicious and so were the items for Happy Hour. We will definitely go here again. Love this place again.“
“For someone who never leaves reviews, I HAVE TO with this place. For starters, our waiter Matthew (Matt) was so fun and comfortable. Loved every second of his atmosphere. SECONDLY, the food was to die for. The kona rub steak has been on my mind since I ate it. Price was phenomenal when you get a beautiful seat, amazing food, and fun energy. 10/10 RECOMMEND“
“THIS is the place to be.What a wonderfully warm and friendly atmosphere, from the hostess to the servers to the other guests. Cute decor with a lot of tables that are in close proximity to one another.THIS is the place to eat.OHHH-EMMM-GEEE the food is incredibly delicious. The portions are generous. The menu selections are great and it’s difficult to choose - and then they have daily specials, which makes it even harder because you want to try it ALL!CASH only- no cards accepted.BYOB and the staff will gladly provide the appropriate glassware.Scannicchio’s is a family place…..the employees are all family and when you’re there you feel like family. MY family, we LOVE Scannicchio’s! It’s our family tradition. La mia famiglia. Mangia bene.Parking: Parking is where we you find a spot! Usually a spot can be found on Broad Street.“
“Wonderful first experience at Albertino's for a birthday celebration. All of the food was delicious and the staff were warm, friendly, and helpful. We went on a Wednesday, so we got to experience the Cacio e Pepe (cheese wheel), but there's plenty of entrees to enjoy. Portion sizes are pretty good and we felt all the plates were well worth the price. The space is small and a little tight, but it didn't take anything away from the experience. We were there when the restaurant was packed, but we felt like we could still hear one another and have great conversation without shouting over people around us.“
“IM A HONEST PERSON & I CAN ATTEST THAT THE FOOD IN OMEGA'S IS TOP SHELF EATING WITH LOVE FOR THE PEOPLE THAT LOVE GOOD FOOD WITH NO EXCUSES! MY PERSONAL FAVORITE IS THE RED SNAPPER BECAUSE ITS SO JUICY & FLAVORFUL. VERY NICE PLACE VERY NICE STAFF & VERY NICE PRICING .......“
“I couldn't wait to dig in and it was not a disappointment. I couldnt even speak words after the first few bites. "Mmmmmm mmmm mmm!! ??☺️" is all i could say. The food is extremely delicious and flavorful. I'll have to try their other vegan dishes! I had the Vegan Fried Chicken with plantains and Vegan Sweet Chilli Wings with veggies.“
“This place is just recently opened and received pretty good reviews, so I decided to try it out.everything we ordered was tasty with a generous portions, but the flavor was just too sweet for me and my boyfriend. I know Thai food is sweet, but this is another level of sweet. And the coconut noodle soup, it has no flavor and tasted so coconuty. It would have been better if they use rice noodle or glass noodle instead of vermicelli noodle. The ambience is plain, but it looks new and clean. The color of the building looks unattractive in my opinion.Service is good, but it takes awhile for the food to come out. They seem to be more busy with takeout orders.Overall, a decent Thai food with good portion and reasonable price. Tip: pay in CASH, you’ll get 5% off and they also accept Venmo.“
“Let me tell you about this restaurant! I absolutely loved everything about it! When I say the food was on point, I mean on point! I had Chicken Bella Piazza. The sauce was so tasty. This is a BYOB ? location. Had I known I would have had a bottle. I came after work for a retirement party. One coworker was ready! Another co-worker was able to help everyone else out by running around the corner for a few bottles ?. The staff were friendly and offered suggestions. They were accurate saying both dishes were good choices. Some restaurants just say that! We stayed til closing. No pressure to leave. Thank you Siena for a great evening out. I will be back!Parking: You can park in front or on the side.“
“My boyfriend took me here on a surprise date night! The service was absolutely out of this world. They were very attentive to us and what we needed and not a single mistake was made. The food was made perfectly and I’m proud to say I tried new foods, and I throughly enjoyed it. I felt underdressed due to the attire of the other customers, but our waiter reassured us that we were fine. As Long as you don’t come in looking like you rolled out of bed, you’re dressed up enough to come here!“
“Bacio strikes again! Kudos to our friends Pam and Chef Robert! Thier pre-cooked Valentine's Day Dinner for 2 was amazing! From the salads all the way thru to the desserts, every course was fantastic. And the best part is that the portions were large enough that we will switch our entrees and get another full meal out of it! Thanks again for a great dinner!“
“The Rittenhouse Grill is was truly elegant and romantic. Live piano set the mood. Beautiful ambient lighting. Not to loud to converse. Our table order Ribeye steak (12 oz) Jumbo Lump Crab cake. Our sides were sautéed mushrooms, creamed spinach, roasted brussel sprouts and Corn. Just wonderful and delicious. Drinks were always filled up! Loved the excellent service and the kindness from the waiters and servers. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who loves elegant fine dining experience.“
“Food was delicious aw always. I took a friend to the the restaurant for her birthday and she loved everything we ordered . Our waitress Dominique was phenomenal. Dominque was very knowledgeable about the our food choices and very charismatic.“
“One of the best and authentic Indonesian restaurants in the states. The other one is in Atlanta GA. As a native Indo, I highly recommend this place. Service was good. Space is quite tight but expected for Philly. Food is so good. So good. Get the ketoprak, Satay ayam/ grilled skewered chicken with special peanut sauce, for sure. We drove 9 hrs one way and it was worth it. Makasih banyak mbak2.“
“We visited here for the 1st time and had a great experience 4.13.24Marco our waiter was very nice and took his time to explain the menu and the Chef Specials. We ended the night with a great desert for our anniversary.Would definitely come back.“
“Food was delicious! Atmosphere is so cute and quaint. I will say, our server was very nice but we're pretty sure he forgot to put in our entrees. Our appetizer came out in a timely manner, but it took a good 45mins for our entrees to come out after we finished our app. It was busy and he had 2 large parties so I understand and and giving him grace. I'm also a server at a different restaurant so I totally understand it's a lot to juggle at once. Definitely will come back to eat here!“
“Such a cute little place!! Got the salt & pepper shrimp w/ rice, shrimp & pork dumplings, and lobster summer rolls. The cashier was soooo sweet and brought our food out to us. It was delicious. HAD to get more dumplings to go!! These pics don't do any justice“
“Nestled in the vibrant streets of Philadelphia, Charlie Was A Sinner. is a haven for those seeking a culinary experience that transcends expectations. With its inviting ambiance and innovative plant-based cuisine, this restaurant captivates the senses and leaves a lasting impression.Let's dive into the star of the show: the food. Each dish at Charlie Was A Sinner. is a work of art, meticulously crafted to delight even the most discerning palate. From the first bite to the last, every flavor sings in perfect harmony, showcasing the creativity and skill of the culinary team. However, I must address a notable aspect of our dining experience—the service. While the staff was friendly and accommodating, there were some shortcomings that impacted the overall enjoyment of our meal. In particular, our server seemed lacking in knowledge of the menu, unable to provide accurate information about certain dishes' ingredients. This became especially problematic when attempting to accommodate dietary restrictions at our table. Rather than consulting the chef or kitchen staff for clarification, our server seemed uncertain and unable to provide the necessary assistance.Despite this hiccup, I must commend the kitchen for their flexibility and willingness to accommodate our dietary needs once the issue was brought to their attention. Their dedication to ensuring a positive dining experience did not go unnoticed and ultimately salvaged what could have been a disappointing situation. In conclusion, while Charlie Was A Sinner. excels in its culinary offerings, there is room for improvement in the realm of service, particularly in staff knowledge and communication. Nonetheless, I remain impressed by the restaurant's commitment to delivering exceptional plant-based cuisine and look forward to returning for another memorable dining experience.“
“Came here with my mom from a recommendation her friend gave. We really enjoyed the sushi! The prices were very affordable, we paid less than $40 for two entrees and two soups. However the cleanliness was a little suspect for me. You can see the area where the chefs prepare the sushi, and it reminded me of a Waffle House.“
“Outstanding food at a great price small quaint home away from home feel. Reservations not required but highly recommended on holidays and weekends. Staff always friendly efficient & helpful with suggestions/ descriptions of items on menu.“
“I got a dozen freshly steamed top neck clams platter with corn, broccoli, and potatoes. Prob used a whole stick of butter, but it is delicious and properly cooked. Total $18. Small bar-table with 4 chairs in a line at the front window with louder pop music playing. Nice plants.“
“Delish food - n of 3 times been so far and every time has been on point. Prices are definitely respectable (except $4 for extra pico) and the servers have always treated us nicely. Definitely recommend for Cantina food in the middle of Philly.“
“This was our second time at Max's Seafood and we really enjoyed our food both times. Delicious Oysters. The Chilean Sea Bass was so yummy the first time, I got it again. It did not disappoint! We tried dessert this time and the Creme Brulee and Key Lime Pie hit the spot. The Key Lime Pie had pistachios in the graham cracker crust. A very nice surprise ?? Also, you can order a bottle of wine here and it will not break the bank. Check it out! I highly recommend it.“
“Best Authentic Indian food in south jersey! Owner and staff takes special care of every guest. Impressed with their customer service. They go beyond their menu to make special food items and mocktails for their guests. Will highly recommend them!“
“A Hidden Gem: Fantastic Food and Heartwarming AtmosphereDuring a recent road trip, my brother and I stumbled upon the Piston Diner, and what a delightful find it was! From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with the comforting aroma of home-cooked meals. The food at Piston diner was simply outstanding, some of the best we've had in a long time. Each dish was bursting with flavor and made with obvious care and attention to detail. From classic diner staples to mouthwatering specialties, every bite was a taste of culinary perfection. Our server was exceptional, providing attentive and friendly service throughout our meal. Their warmth and professionalism added to the overall positive experience. It truly felt like dining among friends, thanks to the camaraderie and genuine hospitality present in the atmosphere. One aspect that stood out to us was the unmistakable sense of family at piston diner. From the way the staff interacted with each other to the comforting ambiance, it was evident that this establishment is more than just a place to eat - it's a community hub where patrons are treated like extended family.Furthermore, we were deeply touched by the diner's evident respect and appreciation for the military. It's heartening to see a business that honors those who serve our country, and it speaks volumes about the values upheld at Piston diner. If we lived in the area, Piston diner would undoubtedly become a regular haunt for our family. It's the kind of place where you feel at home from the moment you walk in, and where the combination of delicious food and heartfelt hospitality keeps you coming back for more.In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Piston diner to anyone passing through or residing in the area. Whether you're craving a hearty meal, a friendly atmosphere, or simply a sense of belonging, this diner exceeds expectations on all fronts.Cheers to Piston diner for an unforgettable dining experience - we'll definitely be back! Side note: there was one employee that was working the front who was an older gentleman that was pretty crabby with the employees for the duration of the time I was there and seemed to effect work place morale negatively.“
