“We had the best Easter dinner at this location. Our server was Gina, and she was an absolute delight! She was so much fun from the interaction at the hostess stand to serving us. She was amazing! She called me by my first name the entire time. My family was actually surprised we didn't know each other before this visit. Our chef was a blast. He made us laugh the entire time. We had a party of 8 with a wide variety of ages, and he made sure to include everyone in the fun. From my teenagers to my older aunts and my husband and I. Thank you, Hibachi, for making our Easter tradition extra fun! Oh, and the food was top-notch. Delicious and cooked perfectly!“
“Went to this buffet a couple months ago for lunch and was very impressed! They had a wide selection of varying foods such as a sushi bar, soups, chinese food, meats, mac and cheese, breads, a dessert bar, fruit, and more. Almost everything I tried there I genuinely enjoyed. I would return and try the dinner “
“First time here. More like 4.5 stars. Overall, I like this place. It’s well decorated—interior design is thoughtful and tasteful, not tacky. It shares parking in the back with several other small establishments. Today it’s pouring outside, so it’s extra quiet. Yet I can imagine parking may be challenging on a sunny day.Food-wise, I think their sushi rolls are better than their ramen—I’m just not into their noodle’s texture. Their sushi rolls are of decent size and quality in their respective price category.Service is friendly. My only reservation today is: The restaurant is noticeably cold, as if they didn’t turn on the heat.“
“Found amidst other small businesses and shops in the heart of Bryn Mawr, Yamazaki Ramen might just be the cozy culinary hideaway your taste buds need. It's a modest space, sure, but what it lacks in grandeur, it compensates with a soul-warming embrace, a friendly nod, and bowls of ramen that could easily steal the show in any food lover's heart. Now, let's talk about the star of our gastronomic journey--the Yamazaki Special ramen. This bowl is more than just a meal; it's a warm embrace on a cold day, a melody of flavors that sings a harmonious ode to traditional Tonkotsu ramen. With its rich pork-bone soup, tender roast pork, and an ensemble of bamboo shoots, kikurage mushrooms, red ginger, scallions, and a perfectly poached egg, it's a dish that doesn't just satisfy hunger; it nourishes the soul.Alongside this noodle nirvana, we ventured into the realm of the Gyudon Rice Bowl. Here, we found a comforting assembly of sliced beef, onions, and pickled ginger atop a bed of rice, all gently hugged by a sweet dashi sauce. The seasoned boiled egg added a nice touch, though the dish played more of a supporting role to the show-stopping ramen. It's still a solid choice for those craving a bit of variety, offering a satisfying culinary experience.Yamazaki Ramen stands as a testament to the joys of simple, heartfelt cooking. In this unassuming spot, you'll find dishes crafted with care, flavors that linger long after the last bite, and a reminder of the quiet power of a well-made bowl of ramen. So, if find yourself in Bryn Mawr and in search of a quick & tasty bite, Yamazaki Ramen checks all of the boxes.“
“The food and service was phenomenal, the food came out so fast and right after we finished with our appetizers our plates were replaced. The sushi was so fresh and the presentation was beautiful! So happy to have found this place!! Can’t wait to come “
“Our group, which has been sampling custom sushi roll offerings around the Montgomery, Delaware, and Chester County (PA) region for over 15 years, believes we've landed on a new standard-setter with Osushi in Wayne. Beautiful presentation; excellent service; and fabulous, fresh, varied rolls. We'll be back!“
“Excellent quality sushi! My family ordered a couple sushi combos and a special roll and everything was super fresh and absolutely delicious. Best sushi I had on a long time (inmy opinion, in terms of ramen and sushi it beats some otherJapanese restaurants in the area)“
“We held the MOST beautiful bridal shower at Veekoo! The manager and staff were exceptionally accommodating, the event was lovely and the food - as always- was SUPERB!Thanks Veekoo!Dietary restrictions: Able to devise a menu for guests who were vegetarian, and who did and did not eat sushi“
“The food is really good. I loved the kimbob and the steamed pork dumpling is very good too. I would love to go to this place regularly. Although they need to update their online menu and the prices because the prices i saw on here google menu isn’t what they have in the restaurant. Might have adjusted due to inflation - understandable. but recommend to the owner to update on google menu too.“
“Food is good quality. On pricey side. Atmosphere and decor is great. Staff is attentive but short staffed. You really need to get their attention for them to come byParking: Free. Plentiful. A couple of handicaps, but not right by the entranceKid-friendliness: Yes. Spacious. No diaper change tables or counterWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Located in a small strip center with a small parking lot and across the street from a much bigger lot, Osushi is a gem. We arrived for a late lunch. We started with the tofu miso soup (would prefer more tofu) that was tasty and a larger than typical serving. The tuna dumpling, tricolor tobiko roll, and the Naruto roll are pictured. The tuna dumpling included mango which compliments the overall taste. The visual appeal of every dish was outstanding (see the attached pictures). While a bit pricey, there's no denying the quality.Parking: There's a single line of parking in this steep center with a much larger public lot immediately across the street“
“I came here on a cold rainy day and had the coziest experience. The service was wonderful and they offer complimentary iced barley tea. I ordered the shrimp yakisoba and it was the perfect meal for that weather! I was so hungry I didn’t think to snap photos but maybe next time (because I shall return!).“
“So happy i found this place and finally tried it. Fairly new and luckily 5 min drive from me. Chill vibes inside. Food was on point! I came towards the night my first time with my bf. wish I got my server's name but she was very attentive and encouraged me to try things in my dish i kept avoiding lol. We got gyoza which is made with chicken (big plus I avoid pork) spicy tuna roll, salmon teriyaki and the Gyu Don. Had to come again the same week. This time ordered the Fuki Spicy Miso Pork Ramen and replaced it with beef. Same server w/ a younger man, still a great time.“
“The food and service were amazing here! My boyfriend and I went on a late night post workout date night here. The host/server greeted us with a smile, and came to take our order pretty fast. She asked us how we were doing, and we had a friendly conversation. She was great at giving helpful suggestions on what to order. The ramen is fantastic here! The sushi, pork dumplings were delicious! The bubble tea, and desserts were great as well! All in all, our experience there was amazing and I would highly recommend it! We enjoyed listening to the music that the restaurant played as well!“
“We ordered on DoorDash. The bag was stapled at the top to be held upwards but the food was sideways. My rolls got soaked in sauce. Not a terrible thing but I’d prefer they were crispy. Highly recommend a different bagging/to go technique. The food was delicious nonetheless. I enjoyed everything in my bento box. The miso soup was good too. The dumplings were tasty but i had to pick out the beans/green vegetables was on it. Personal preference but other than that i will definitely order again. The salad was good wish it were more but it was a lunch combo so not complaining at all. Their ginger salad dressing was amazing.“
“Our favorite sushi place- EVER. There aren’t enough good things to say about this place. Every single dish is always so fresh & just delish.Maggie, the server, host & everything in between is absolutely AMAZING. Such a sweetheart & gives the best recommendations.I could not recommend Tsuki more than we already do. A lowkey, MUST try if you’re in the Rittenhouse area.“
“I was in pa yesterday looking for a Japanese food that my friend stumbled upon ,The service was quick and great. We enjoyed the sushi which was beautifully plated. Everything was fresh and delicious definitely come next time. Very good choice.“
“We were traveling through and hit the jackpot here. Crab Rangoon and Egg roll were very good. But the sushi stole the show! Spicy salmon crunch was very good...the dynamite was exceptional...we all agreed the New Year was our favorite. There were so many other items we wanted to try. Great food. Great friendly service! Thank you!“
“Loved the aesthetic and delicious sushi! The fish was quality! A lot of sushi places around here can get pretty crazy with what they put on rolls but Miyake has knocked it out of the park with its wonderfully balanced rolls. We didn't partake in the specials but it looks like they frequently change things up so we should always have something fun to try!“
“You can tell it is more a grab and go type of place for the college folks but our dine-in experience was great nonetheless! Staff was so kind, attentive, and food came quickly. Sushi was amazing and amazing, I enjoyed my miso soup, and my husband and I shared some edamame.Definitely would recommend for anyone looking for some sushi in the neighborhood! Mango Tango and Holiday rolls were my favorites!“
“A very nice, quiet, casual eatery in Media, PA. A great place to meet when you want to enjoy a lovely meal, and be able to have a conversation at the same time. Unlike most area restaurants with loud background music or bands. The food is spot on, fresh and delicious. The service is wonderful. All staff are delightful and caring. Additionally, they make one Hell of a delicious Asian Pear Sakatini! :)“
“I am pleasantly surprised by how delicious the foods are. Ordered sushi combo and two signature rolls. They are very fresh and flavorful. The restaurant is not too noisy and the environment is clean and welcoming. Loved our waitress Tina. I would definitely recommend and come back!“
“We ordered takeout, so we can’t really speak to the atmosphere. I will agree with other reviewers- excellent selection of sushi rolls and sashimi. Really fresh, very tasty. Prices are very reasonable for the quantity and quality. I also ordered a hot dish which was very, very good- also tasted so fresh. I would definitely come back here and highly recommend this place!“
“Great food. Very nice atmosphere. Reasonable prices and everything is super fresh. Something you absolutely want when dining out for sushi. Located in delightful downtime Media on State Street. Perfect for any type of celebration or date night. Enjoy!Vegetarian options: My son and I shared the vegetarian mango/avocado roll, and it was fantastic!“
“This is a popular place, and it's not hard to see why. The dining room is cozy, but not crowded. The menu offers a good variety of appetizers, entrees, and maki including old standards and plenty of original specialties. The veggie rolls in particular are worth a try! Service was prompt, responsive, knowledgeable, and personable.“
“Always enjoy the vibe and service at New Leaf. Enjoyed seating outside. Service was attentive, food was delicious. Always love their sushi. Eye pleasing, fresh and tasty. My favorite is always the salt & pepper squid. As good as what I've enjoyed in China town. I'm fact I think I like it better. Singapore noodles are always a go to. The surprise was the sweet and sour chicken. I've never had big meaty pieces of chicken for this dish. We were stuffed for our party of two when left. The best part, we can have leftovers today!“
“Just moved into the area and couldn't find a good restaurant with real authentic chinese food until I came across New Leaf. The food is always great and I am never disappointed, price is fair, parking outside & the customer service has always been pleasant. Would recommend this place to anyone who lives around the area looking for real authentic chinese food without having to go into chinatown.“
“Small nitpicks: This restaurant is 100% a blink and you miss it on the road. Parking isn’t great.Despite that, the food is excellent and reasonably priced. They’ve got great desserts and their cocktails are fantastic. I will be back as this may have become my new go-to restaurant for sushi.“
“Outstanding service from the host as soon as we walked in. All around prompt, courteous and friendly from service from whole staff. The food was really good and great variety on the menu with quite a few unique things I have not tried before. I am always searching for restaurants that put new things on the menu that aren't typical Americanized food and this place does a great job with that.“
“Awesome hibachi grill!!! Very friendly and entertaining hibachi chef! Friendly wait staff! Excellent service and food! Clean restaurant! Romantic and fun atmosphere! Clean restrooms. Plenty of parking in a free parking lot. Cool restaurant vibe. Great for friends, family, and date night! We got the hibachi salmon, white tuna, and veggie dishes with fried rice, side salad, and side soup! All fantastic! Well cooked and delicious! The show was amazing! Definitely recommended and would eat there again! The family across from us had two small kids, maybe their children were 7 and 10, they loved it too! It’s BYOB so bring your own alcohol.Vegetarian options: You can get vegetarian hibachi dinner, all vegetables with fried rice is deliciousDietary restrictions: They have dietary options for vegetariansParking: Large free parking lotKid-friendliness: Kids love the hibachi grill show! And they love the fried rice and chickenWheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible“
“This place is top notch Asian food! We live twenty minutes to half an hour away, and find this restaurant worth the drive! Food, ambiance, and service are TOP NOTCH! Everything on the menu is delicious, and prepared to perfection! Cocktails are delicious! Mark, Michelle, and all the staff are amazing! Keep up the great job!“
“One of our favorite places in Bryn Mawr. The food was absolutely spectacular and our server was absolutely delightful. they had something new on the menu and the enthusiasm of our server convinced us to try it and she was absolutely spot on! We also got the Bryn Mawr roll, because we were there to drop our youngest off at Bryn Mawr for freshman year. We ended up ordering two rounds of rolls and man do I wish I had room for more because they were ALL fantastic, but I am still drooling over that Bryn Mawr roll. It's not the most "exciting" but it was just PERFECT. I really can't wait to go visit my kid and go to Sushi Land again!!!“
“This was my late mother's favorite restaurant, and also my teenage son's favorite restaurant. I didn't realize that they were going to close this beautiful location, so it was very special that we went there for my son's birthday celebration! They were slammed because of all the people who were trying to get one last amazing meal before they close on March 19, 2024, but the food remained absolutely amazing, flavorful, and beautifully presented! “
“Portions are small and food is ok (we had the crab fried rice and tuna tataki). The tuna was flavorless. We didn’t drink but they seem to have an extensive drink menu so maybe there is more to offer cocktail-wise. I liked the atmosphere and the service was good. Glad we tried it out, but wouldn’t return.“
“Super convenient location with parking. Excellent vegetable tempura the best I've had from a small business. The steamed dumplings were also excellent. I'm used to crispier Gen Tao, but the sauce had a nice kick. Take out or dine in. For take out, I recommend that you order once you arrive because everything stays crispy and fresh if it doesn't sit around. Let's support this small business!Wheelchair accessibility: I don't recall any steps to the entrance. There might be a curb.“
“The food was amazing, i had the chicken, shrimp and, rice and my my were they all cooked to perfection. The service was amazing, all of the workers were nice and got us what we wanted when we wanted it. the ambiance of the place was a great vibe you could tell that it was just a happy and exciting place. i loved eating here and i would again. my entire party sang karaoke and we all had a ton of fun. this place deserves a definite 5/5. i finished my meal so quickly!“
“Fantastic sushi made with great care. Very fresh fish and great rice. Affordable price. I especially enjoyed the house salad, which contained fresh local fruit that complemented the salad perfectly. Great choice for enjoying in the beautiful outside dining space adjacent.“
“I did an online carry out order, while picking sushi items I saw an odd question: Do you want soy sauce? I always thought sushi is supposed to come with soy sauce. I said “yes”. After taking the food home, it turned out that they forgot to include the soy sauce, and it was not worth driving several miles to go back. I would suggest Vic to include soy sauce or train their people not to forget it.“
“They have delicious Chinese food! So get ur CJ in today! I'm not just a customer, I'm also 1 of there delivery drivers!!!Vegetarian options: Check out there online menu...Dietary restrictions: Check out there online menu... They do custom cooking too!Parking: Hugh free parking lot. Only a few ft to the entranceKid-friendliness: Pet friendly too... Take outWheelchair accessibility: Double wide doors that open“
“Was kind of worried visiting a new place, but best decision of the evening. Dishes are well presented and delicious. Bento boxes are beautifully presented, diverse and fulfilling. The sushi rolls are perfect balance of your selected clubs and rice. A wonderful choice and cannot wait to come visit again“
“Great spot to stop in for lunch. I love the salmon lovers roll - it has generous portions of fresh salmon sashimi on top of a salmon and cucumber roll. I have also enjoyed avocado roll with eel on top.The service is always very attentive, friendly and efficient.“
“Great east meal in Ardmore. Been getting the poke bowl here for years. It is still my gold standard for poke bowls. I’m yet to have one anywhere else that comes even close. It’s huge as well so it’s a good value. My family eats here every week. It’s consistently good and the employees are wonderful. I recommend the crunch bowl with extra crunch and avocado.Parking: If you are eating dinner at the restaurant I recommend parking just behind where the bank is. Once the bank is closed the parking is up for grabs and it’s right next door.Kid-friendliness: My little nephew loves to come here and they are super sweet to him.“
“This has been my go-to place for Chinese take out, and they never disappoint! I usually get the General Tso's chicken and I'm a big fan! Their sushi is awesome too and atmosphere inside is nice and comfortable. The staff are really friendly and always make you feel welcome, even if you're just picking up. Definitely recommend :)“
“Been here several times and staff is friendly. They do charge gratuity if there is more than a party of 5. We always get sushi for appetizers and hibachi for dinner. My daughter loves the performance and enjoys her shrimp lo mein. Will always pick this spot for hibachi.“
“I love Kawa. It’s my favorite sushi restaurant so far and I’ve gone to tons of sushi restaurants in the past and in Japan. The presentation is beautiful, the servings are healthy, and the rice is just ?? delicioso. The servers are so kind and attentive. We love them. Also shoutout to the sushi chefs for being so talented and awesome. We always get their Toro and Uni sushi. Next on the list is hamachi, smoked salmon and tamago. Everything we’ve had was delicious and we’ve never been disappointed with what we end up getting. The only thing that sucks is when my gf and I are craving Kawa and we realize it’s Monday…We also try to limit going there to only once a month but we always break the rule.“
