“PLS DELI is a must stop if your in the Panther Valley area! The menu and selection of quality food is endless considering its just a little corner deli on Summit Hill! This is a very friendly and efficient family run business. True professionals in the food service industry! Not to mention the best "loaded waffle fries" you can get!!! Do yourself a favor and stop in and check out the selections! You'll be glad you did!”
“the place is great just make sure it's in your budgetKid-friendliness: they don't tell you to leave if you're kid is being loud, they have a kids menu with in the menu kids prices are lowerWheelchair accessibility: no stairs”
“First time here and was extremely impressed with the extensive menu. We had potato soup, BLT and fries….onion petals and prime rib steak salad with blue cheese. The server was very attentive and made the evening very enjoyable. Will definitely be back again. SC & ”
“Delicious wraps and charcuteries, amazing alcohol free options as well as wines… ie elderberry fizz with gingerbeer. Friendly and efficient service… patronize weekly and recommend to out of town friends every time with great feedback”
“Adorable place, and the hot chocolate / coffee combo is great too. And half the price they'd charge at a starbucks. Will stop in next time I'm in the area!”
“Love the place. Great service and good price. I enjoy the live music, games, and that they're open and a place to go to and do something fun & responsible.”
“I turned to The Buttered Crumb for my daughters’ sweet sixteen birthday cake and cupcakes and as promised they did not disappoint. The flavors of all the cupcakes and cake were absolutely delicious and perfect, as I knew they would be! Our guests raved about how delicious everything was and I cannot thank everyone at The Buttered Crumb enough!”
“Absolutely adorable bakery, and the food was delicious. My hard-to-please husband was especially happy with his breakfast crepe. Said it had "the correct balance." Drinks were also very good. The very kind lady who helped us was extremely helpful and a lovely conversationalist. We took her recommendation to check out the pickle shop, too. ;)Dietary restrictions: They do offer gluten free crepes, made fresh to order! Someone asked about them while we were there.”
“First time eating here with a table 8 of us. Food came out all about the same time which was nice. Place was pretty crowded however its wasn't that loud so you could have a conversation. This isn't a super fancy place but its not a hole in the wall either. Overall the food was really good from the burgers to the shrimp and grits to the salmon all good. The price seemed reasonable to the portions. Making reservations again for a table of 6 can't wait. Looking forward to it will update review when were done.”
“My wife and I stopped in for late lunch. The menu is very interesting- great variety. My wife ordered the kim chi fried rice and I ordered the pork pastrami sandwich. For an appetizer, we ordered the 1-lb chicken wings (garlic parmesan). The kim chi had a nice kick but still very tasty. My pork pastrami was even better than a regular pastrami- pork was lean, tender and very flavorful. The wings were huge and very juicy and tasty. We had enough for leftovers! Service was excellent. Our server was attentive and regularly checked on us. I'm so glad we were able to stop in. We walked to try it 2 years ago when we were here but it was packed. Well worth the stop!”
“Great place to stop. Great atmosphere, Don and Christina are are very friendly and welcoming. The vanilla porter is top notch and the jalapeno lager compares to the best of them. Must stop if your in Tamaqua.”
“Got the chicken bacon, ranch wrap. It was delicious. This is a great little spot to stop through and grab a bite on your way out of town. Or through town?? Idk about the town but the food is good. ?”
“Really neat and interesting cafe/bar in Jim Thorpe. Artsy/jazz vibe with upscale but laid back vibes. Chef John is spot on. Had the breakfast grilled cheese and soup of the day from the Sunday brunch menu.”
“As soon as you walk in, you will feel welcome and relaxed with the beautiful decor of lights and plants. Even smells like Italy just walking in. The Customer Service is very attentive and likes to keep the energy high. Great seating options for small to big crowds. Private room option for wedding receptions, graduations, etc, and a Selfie Wall for pics. They make their own bread , and I was told "You have to get the Cheesesteak Special!" It was delish! I'm used to most restaurants using Amaroso Rolls, and their bread did not disappoint. It was filling! Great amount of sauce and ingredients. Almost needed a nap after eating it. Food coma. Others in our party had chicken wings, Cesar salad, clams, pizza, and more. Our group of 16 loved their meals and drinks. Highly recommended for any size party to have a great meal and great time. Follow me for more reviews and feel free to comment on what you'd like to see more of.”
“This is a hidden gem. Best steak tacos ever and the margarita was out of this world. If I lived close I would go at least weekly. Service was fantastic! Very friendly people.”

“Loved our experience at Hairy Guys Brewing! Excellent, attentive, friendly staff. Wide variety of beers, cocktails, and wine. Sodas & snacks for the kids. Had a blast with games and TouchTunes! We had so much fun!”
“Awesome breakfast! Very timely. Never let my coffee get cold. Food was very very good. Table of bff's next to me sharing mimosas. Another table of veterans enjoying each other's company. Can't wait to come back!!!”
“Now called Confessions. What a great hometown location. Live music great food kind patrons. Never any drama just a happy fun place to visit. Your hosts Ruth & Chuck make this location great. They have a game room with a bar in the back your gonna love it.”
“Very quaint, cute space. Lives up to the name of a "coffee bar". Was offered to have my coffee served in a glass, which was a brand new experience (there are also traditional to-go cups as well). There were two people ahead of me, and the wait time wasn't terrible, considering Dan, the owner, was the only one behind the counter at the time. He was really attentive to everyone who came in, stopping for a moment to acknowledge new patrons. His recommendation for a coffee from Honduras did not disappoint. It was very smooth and flavorful with no bitterness whatsoever. I paid $4.25 for a normal sized latte, which is cheaper than your Starbucks and Dunkin by a few bucks! All in all, really great experience. Nice folks, good coffee, good environment. Would strongly recommend.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of alternate milk options.Parking: Fairly small llot, but seems easy enough to find a spot even during the busier times.”
“Thank you for our delicious cupcake peanut butter cake! The cake was so moist (even the left overs a few days later) and the peanut butter icing was to die for! This was the 10 inch cake and HUGE!”
“I was fortunate enough to be introduced to this café by a Dominican coworker. Since moving to Hazleton I have been disappointed by the seemingly total lack of cafés in the area. I love it here! The coffee is delicious and everything is made fresh, not left out sitting in display cases. We also tried some pastolitos (honestly not sure how to spell that!), and they were excellent. The dining area is bright, comfortable, immaculately clean, and very welcoming. Highly recommended!”
“We just had lunch there. The atmosphere was simply old world charm. One guest had the Turkey Rachel and he really enjoyed it. I had a burger and it tasted delicious and like it came off an outdoor grill. We were full so we took dessert home. The staff was very attentive and very pleasant. We will return”
“Stopped by after camping with the family near by and we are so happy we did. Our server Tiffany was amazing and made some great recommendations. Would definitely recommended and stop by again.”

“I used Door Dash to get my order today. As I am just in Hazleton visiting my best friend over the holiday. I ordered the Cheese steak and tater tots. It was pretty good. I had it ate in a few minutes. Overall I was impressed.”

“23rd wedding anniversary meal. Comfy chairs and lovely atmosphere. Good music playing in background. We both loved our meals. Reasonable prices and friendly service.”
