“Great place to stop. Great atmosphere, Don and Christina are are very friendly and welcoming. The vanilla porter is top notch and the jalapeno lager compares to the best of them. Must stop if your in Tamaqua.”

“As soon as you walk in, you will feel welcome and relaxed with the beautiful decor of lights and plants. Even smells like Italy just walking in. The Customer Service is very attentive and likes to keep the energy high. Great seating options for small to big crowds. Private room option for wedding receptions, graduations, etc, and a Selfie Wall for pics. They make their own bread , and I was told "You have to get the Cheesesteak Special!" It was delish! I'm used to most restaurants using Amaroso Rolls, and their bread did not disappoint. It was filling! Great amount of sauce and ingredients. Almost needed a nap after eating it. Food coma. Others in our party had chicken wings, Cesar salad, clams, pizza, and more. Our group of 16 loved their meals and drinks. Highly recommended for any size party to have a great meal and great time. “We just had lunch there. The atmosphere was simply old world charm. One guest had the Turkey Rachel and he really enjoyed it. I had a burger and it tasted delicious and like it came off an outdoor grill. We were full so we took dessert home. The staff was very attentive and very pleasant. We will return”

“Wandered in for something to do while waiting to be called for meal reservation at nearby restaurant. LOVED the beer flight. Especially the Christmas Ale and Peach Cobbler Ale with the optional cinnamon/sugar on the glass rim. And I never thought I'd even consider beer like that much less enjoy it. The other, less seasonal-sounding beers were also spot-on. Need to fix whatever is not quite playing music in the main room but otherwise it's a wonderful respite. I'll be back!”

“Great place for food and drinks as well as shoot some pool,depending on time ya fo sometimes service is slow but other than that the place Rocks!! Frank and Cori definitely got this place back on the map!Parking: If handicap street parking is what ya want because there are no steps to get in,otherwise ya can park out back and walk up the steps and your in!Wheelchair accessibility: Use street parking no steps to go in front way”

“The food is good. Staff friendly. Clean facilities. Ample parking. They have beer and wine. Its reasonably priced. We enjoyed canollis to take home after dining in. My grandson who is a picky eater ate his ravioli and garlic knots. They serve guers products too. All in all its fine for family dinners. Take out or delivery.Parking: Adequate parking in well lit lot.Kid-friendliness: My grandson enjoys it.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible and handicap parking available.”

“The best "chili-n-cheese" dogs I ever had! This place is definitely on the top of my list! Mary and Irv are pros in this business! This is the kind place you go to when you have hours of free time so you can get the full effect! You can eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner and never run out of conversation by either staff or patrons! Plus then you can leave with a takeout for a snack at home! It's more than your average deli! It's an experience you don't want to miss!”

“Local watering hole. Nice large bar area with limited non-bar seating. Definitely a drinker kind of crowd, not necessarily a dinner kind of place, although they do offer the typical bar fried types of food. There is pool table and an area outside for sitting. All in all, a pretty good place.Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible easily ...the main door has a step up ... however I think there is a door on the front of the building that might be accessible, however it's a smaller entrance”

“Stadium Hill has wonderful new owners. They have a new variety of food added to the menu, AMAZING customer service. They know how to make a grinder, a rarity outside the Philly area. Their chicken salad wraps are delicious and full! I can't reccomend them enough! They also deliver! Great, great place!”

“Passing by all the time on route 309 we never noticed they served breakfast. What a pleasant surprise! Generous portion and reasonable prices, no need to go to McD's. The dining room is cozy, decorated seasonally and even has a fireplace. The facility is clean and does more tricks than just ice cream. Well worth the visit. We'll be regulars from now on. What a great find!”

“Today I found the best diner. Our server asked questions and asked the chef for details on a dish she wasn’t as familiar with. She was new, but excellent.I had a Pittsburg cod sandwich, fries and coleslaw. Great sandwich and their fries are awesome. Everything was hot.I am really picky about coleslaw and ordered it on the side as it came on the sandwich. I didn’t have high hopes but today I had perfect coleslaw. The exact crisp texture, ratio of tart to sweet, liquid to solid and finely chopped cabbage exists. Never change that recipe. I even took a side home for later.My husband’s burger was big, cooked how he likes and on a Kaiser, not brioche like everyone is doing. He doesn’t like brioche buns so this was a pleasant surprise.Everyone was friendly and the whole vibe was just positive. The diner itself is pretty dated but it’s comfortable and prices are reasonable. They even have a bar so that was nice. Go check it out.”

“Girls were very friendly i even got asked out on a date!! Although I didn't want free custard she wouldn't take no for an answer,so she was nice enough to give me and my 3 friends free Italian ice!! Idk if she was cold but I can saybit was warm in her car on her break!! I plan on coming back there over and over I love the friendly service,I wonder if she knows I am one of her co-workers boyfriends I tried telling her but I don't think no is in her vocabulary,what do I do when I show up and my girlfriend and her are working same shift? I mean I think she will be ok if my gf joins and I know my gf will be ok with a quickie but idk how to say we already made ummm our own custard,just realized I turned this into dear abby.... anyway service is 5 star rating”

“We ordered cupcakes and chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine’s Day that were delicious. We, also, ordered my daughter’s custom Hello Kitty cake and not only was it almost an exact replica, it tasted amazing. It was the perfect combination of cake to icing. I was worried that it might be too sweet because of the amount of frosting in the original picture, but it wasn’t. They did an amazing job and I already pre ordered another cake for my son. This is definitely an extremely affordable shop without compromising flavor and attention to detail. I highly recommend this shop to anyone.”

“Pretty nice place to spend an afternoon. We did mini golf, there are two courses. We then had a early dinner, or a late lunch which was pretty good. Then we went across the street and hit some balls at the driving range. Then we went back and got some ice cream. It was all good. It was all fun!”

“First time at the farmers market, about an hour drive for us. The weather for the day was perfect. Found some great buys for some household items. Went and pick up mums early in the day, from 8:00 - 2:00 they were 6 for $20.00. Around 3:00 the were 10 for $20.00, which may happen at different farmers markets so they don't have to transport them back home. Plenty of food choices, we had in the main building, a porketta sandwich, with chips and a drink for $6.00. Nice little meal to keep us going. Headed to the Amish pretzel shop, the pretzels were hot and the flavor was outstanding. The cost, 3 for $5.00. The fruits and vegetables areas had everything you could imagine. The vendors in this area were quick to help because this was the busiest area. The different vendors prices were very reasonable and there wasn't a large difference in prices. Most people have their favorite vendor that they have used over the years. On site parking was not an issue, it seemed later in the day you might have to drive around for a space to open, early birds not a problem to park. Overall a nice outing, an abundance of all types of "stuff", as they say something for everyone...give it a try, a nice scenic ride this time of year...”

“This place has some of the best Sushi around!! They have amazing Chinese cuisine and the Dragon and Phenix is a must!! If you go in then you have to try the homemade sweet tea in the cooler. It's in the white cups...”

“We finally came here after hearing about this place for years and after being burned by our usual chinese joints.I cannot stress enough, this is top notch Asian cuisine. We went in and ordered 2 dishes and the portions were so more than fair (and even more importantly delicious), we could've gotten away with sharing 1.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu specially made for kids 10 and under.”

“this was the first time i ever stepped into a taco bell and it did not disappoint. First fast food restaurant i’ve seen that actually looks clean. i like how we can order from the kiosk thing since i was only trying i got a taco with hot sauce but it wasn’t really spicy unfortunately. I would definitely go back here!”

“The cheese pizza was very good but the chicken bacon ranch pizza was the best pizza I ever had in my life. The crust was perfect, not too much ranch and a good amount of bacon and chicken. A little heavier on the bacon if you like it.”

“Tommy's in Tamaqua does serve some of the Freshest and Delicious Subs/Hoagies in the area. Personally, my go to Hoagies are their Regular & Tuna Fish. Their Cheesesteaks are also Delicious . Their secret, in my opinion, is in the Homemade Hoagie Rolls which are made Fresh Daily.The service is wonderful, Jen, Sam, Sharon, Tina and several other crew members go to great lengths to cook and provide the best quality food and service to their customers!!!Two specials are always a crowd pleaser. Tuesdays it's buy 1 Hoagie at Regular price get another for half price. Fridays special is a Baked Haddock Platter w/ mac-n- cheese & stewed tomatoes! There are many more delicious Hoagies , Platters and Appetizers to choose from.If your passing through the area and decide to stop in on the fly, allow for some extra time due to large customer volumes at times.Payments can be made by CASH or CHECK only.”

“Good food. They charge a 3% credit card fee, but essentially give it back the next time you use the same card. They claim this is because on increased fees, but why give it back next time?Parking: If they have a banquet going on, parking can get difficult.”
