“I ordered the "mini meal" of eggplant Parm with spaghetti. It came with a roll, 2 veggies or 1 veggie and a cup of soup and dessert of pudding... All for just $9.99. For my veggies, i got pickled beets and broccoli which was fresh broccoli. I enjoyed my meal. My husband ordered the chili fries which he said could've used more chili and the bacon cheeseburger. He liked his meal. The place is an old time diner with counter seats as well as tables and booths. The bathroom was clean. Our server was great!!!“

“I came here for the first time and was very pleased, the spicy shrimp appetizer was delicious and the lasagna was also. We got a massive sundae for my boyfriend’s birthday but took it home because the portions definitely filled us up. One appetizer, two small pasta portions, one veggie split between 3 people was more than enough. Our server Ron was very helpful and attentive. Plus the unique decor makes for a really neat atmosphere.“

“We have lived in Reading for 3 years. We were especially surprised with the sheer quality and authenticity in their food. Our go to is the Seafood Noodle Soup with Chicken Wings and Crab Rangoon. The soup is incredibly clean and the portion is so plentiful. Their wings are probably the best Chinese restaurant wings I've had. The wings have this distinct flavors and crunch where other restaurants won't cut it. The crab rangoons are so good and have little to no grease. I sometimes ordered beef chow fun whenever I went for just myself before working a 2nd shift and it's also extremely good and authentic. The staff is really nice and are courteous to guests. We came back to visit reading for the weekend after a year. I can say that the quality has not diminished in the slightest. Please give them a try!“

“It's the type of place that, when you walk in, you can tell that the food is made with love. And it was! I had the elote, the shrimp quesadilla, and a cup of horchata and it was all very good. And the staff were all very friendly and casual (in a good way).Parking: No street parking, and I think the lot behind the restaurant is private.Kid-friendliness: They had Sesame Street playing on the TV when I came in, and the kids menu is limited but definitely sounds tasty. “We decided to try Arbor Inn after reading so many great reviews. We figured we couldn't go wrong for our anniversary dinner. The decor and style indoors is very outdated and crusty. Service was extremely slow and our server was inexperienced for someone that should be serving at a place with the high ratings. The best part of our meal was the mango chutney on the Jerk Shrimp appetizer. The grilled boneless ribeye was overcooked, fatty, and chewy. The Jager schnitzel was full of breading and overcooked. For the amount we paid and the quality of food, it was extremely over-rated and we paid far too much for what we got. The reviews seem to be propped up by the "regular" patrons that frequent this establishment. We will not return.“

“Great food and service! Came for a birthday dinner and was not disappointed!! Food was fresh and we all loved our dishes. Servers were very friendly and attentive. Definitely a new favorite for us!Kid-friendliness: Good options for picky kiddos! The waiter even joked with my son. There's also a really cool fish tank visible from most spots in the resturant. I would not recommend sitting on the bar side if your child has sensitivity to loudness. It was a great experience overall!“

“Driven by a number of times and never lined up to stop, today it did. Hands down, it's excellent. Superb burgers and sandwiches, proper chips that would make any Brit proud, and spot-on beers. They obviously know what they're doing and they're knocking it out of the park. If you've been to Schaylor's or Sly Fox, this is on par both food and beer-wise. “This was my first trip here. The prices were super reasonable! The pizza was very tasty and had a great amount of sauce on it. (I typically have to ask for extra sauce because I am a sauce person.) “UPDATE! I returned to this restaurant, now named “American Diner.” I ordered the same thing as before. Eggs, home fries, turkey bacon and grits. I also ordered a New York strip steak because that is what my bestie ordered on my last visit. Upon arrival I was immediately taken to my seat. There were plenty of other customers there as well on this Sunday morning. My servers name is Samantha. A very beautiful melanated woman who just happens to look like Clarissa Shields the current GWOAT of female boxing. She was one of the nicest and prettiest servers I’ve had. She was on top of her job and did it very well. There were no problems with my order and she asked several times throughout if I needed anything else. I dove into the grits first because that’s why I was there. I added butter, salt & pepper than dove in and to my surprise, they tasted a lot better than before. The previous time, they weren’t edible, but this time they were so I dug in. I cut the steak and ate a piece and noticed that it was a little tough and it needed more seasoning, but it wasn’t bad at all. I just added some table seasoning and some A1 sauce and everything was fine. The real test was eating the grits with the eggs and bacon I ordered. Well, I ate everything on the table and not once had to ask for a replacement or for something to be made over. It was cool sailing once my food hit the table. No, their grits aren’t the best and still need some work, but they are edible now and will not disappoint those who love them as much as I do. I was impressed with the cooks because the restaurant was packed and my meal was not under or over cooked. Everything turn out great considering how packed it was. It's a great place and also it's right next to a gas station too, so after having a meal and if your car needs some gasoline, than there's a redness quick shop literally right next to the restaurant.“

“I loved my fruity crepe here, it was quite sweet! I went with a friend, and we enjoyed the atmosphere. It was very small, but we sat inside, if you're outside it's less cramped. The fruit delight came with ice cream, which helped relieve some of the overly-rich elements of the Nutella in my crepe. It was quite affordable, and our total came out even, which was helpful. “The best breakfast-brunch-lunch-dessert place anywhere around! There is definitely something for everyone so it's great for meeting people there. Breakfast items are available all day :) There are multiple meat-free options. The falafel is one of my favorites. Today, I had a spinach feta pretzel wrap, and the braided soft pretzel was so good! I am especially called to this place in the colder months because there are so many comfort food options. The weekly specials add variety, but I always have a tough time choosing from the regular menu. I just really need to get here more often!!“

“Was just in tonight 7/27 around 545. Place was booming! All but one table was filled (granted it's a small place) but take out was also busy. Two ladies were working and I could tell they were busy so I would of had patience if they didn't get to me right away. However the older of the two asked how she could help me, I said if she needed a minute I could wait but she was on it and got my takeout order in.... Mind you I know plenty of people don't tip on takeout so as someone who has worked the industry I would of understood her putting her tables before me because she's there to pay her bills. (I did tip but she had no way of knowing if I would) so customer service A+ Food came out quick. I got a large chicken cheesesteak, fries and a slice in a little over ten minutes. My mom didn't eat the slice yet so I can't comment on that, I didn't even see it tbh. But the cheesesteak was delicious! Huge sandwich, just the way I ordered it. Super soft roll, didn't skimp on the meat. The fries seemed either over done or the fryer oil needed to be changed. They are the good battered fries though at least so I know under better circumstances I would of loved them. Maybe I should knock a star off for that, but really I won't because 1. Nothing is perfect 2. I got a lot of food for a fair price 3. Quick friendly service 4. It's a small business give people a break 10/10 recommend“

“I am a chocolate connoisseur and have eaten chocolate from all over the world. The Honduran Brownie is the best brownie I have ever had. I was introduced to Sweet Street while I was a patient in the hospital. From then on, I ordered the brownie with every meal, including breakfast, and depending on who was working, I sometimes got a brownie at breakfast. When I got out of the hospital, I looked up the company and have been ordering the brownie ever since. Having a Honduran Brownie is the best part of my day and I really look forward to it. I try to keep it down to two a day and that's hard. Every person I have given one to agree, they are the best brownies, period.
