“I met my future wife and gf on the same nite.. some girls are very aggressive and rude and make fun of people and their IWABO jerseys, I would never go back but that hot bartender Todd bartends with no shirt on Saturdays looks like tom cruse in cocktails, straight boner material“

“5 stars because they have Straub beer . The only food I have had were the wings and ribs and they both were great. There are a lot of flavor options for wings: maybe 15ish. My buddy spoke highly of the French onion soup. Overall, it's a nice, cozy place that's a good option to watch some sports. Great bartenders too !“

“Verrrry delightful. Had been hearing about this place since moving to PA and finally got to go—wait wasn’t super lengthy, seating was neat (we sat outside in a tent with heaters), and food came out really quickly. Loved the sauce on top of my pierogis the most!“

“The food was very tasty but the main reason we were there was for the drinks which were absolutely amazing. The grog was my favorite. There are so many different ways to make a rum drink taste and they mastered them all. Service was cheerful and friendly. The place actually looked like it could be on an island with all he tiki statues everywhere. Excellent stop.“
“I recently hosted an alumni event here and if you're looking for a space to do something similar, or maybe gathering some friends and family to celebrate a birthday or anniversary, I'd strongly encourage you to give SIP Taproom consideration. Kevin is quite accommodating and very easy to work with. The laidback atmosphere, coupled with an excellent offering of local beers and quality wines from California and Oregon, make this a place that shouldn't be overlooked.“

“Discovered this locally owened business and highly recommend! Ordered beef brisket and pulled pork; there were two sauce choice, BBQ and mustard, recommend the mustard. Both entrees were smoky, tender, and flavorful. The pork had a nice bark on it. The collard greens were delightfully spicy and the brussel sprouts were crisp with a surprising vinegar dressing. Acoustic guitar from 7pm to 9pm was awesome, as was the beer list...a dozen beers on draft.Highly recommend and will return!“

“The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was cooked well and so delicious! The parking lot was full so we thought we might have trouble getting a table but they had tables available so don't let the full parking lot keep you from stopping in.“

“Was very disappointed in the meat lover's Flatbread. It tasted like tomato paste for the sauce and the meat has no flavor. It was plain. I suggest to anyone don't get it. My fiancée had thier Italian hoagie which he felt bad and gave me half of his sandwich to eat. The bartender did ask if I liked it. I did let him know about the pizza not being too good. He just looked and didn't say anything and walked away. I'll still come here. But that flat bread has to go. I don't even see how that one is on the menu! Everything else so far I tasted from there is good.“

“So, I wish I could give the Loft, specifically, seven or eight stars. Great environment, great bartenders (Paul is just the nicest guy in the world, honestly). A great karaoke night every Monday. And I actually came here to say this: someone stole a six pack of beer I had bought, and ERIN, the gm, just insisted on replacing it, even though it had nothing to do with their establishment. I thought that was incredibly cool, and I think this place, mgmt and bartenders, will take care of you no matter what.“

“Soo good ? The food is bomb?, I had the Philly steak with mushrooms and beer cheese, a side of fries and my husband had the Rodeo burger ? with fries also we had the Fish sandwich/fries and the twice fried chicken wings with the house bbq/onion rings and everything was cooked to perfection and so delicious.“
“The experience started with the warm welcome from the staff. From the security to the bartender, they were all friendly and pleasant. The food was really good and seemed to be fairly priced for the area, although I still feel the area is overpriced in general. The process of getting into the venue was easy and organized. The space was a beautifully quaint and well-used venue. The crowd for a sellout was the perfect size and it was not overcrowded. The acoustics of the venue were very excellent and the price of tickets was phenomenal. If there is a downside, it is the parking, however it is free in the evening, which beats $40-$50 at most other venues. I will certainly be back just for the experience. Amazing work!“
“Well I’m from Dayton,Ohio and I had a really good time at Denise and Earls. The food is delicious, the people were enjoying themselves to the fullest. Everyone had good vibes from the staff to the crowd. I will definitely be back when I come to Pittsburgh.I really enjoyed the passing of the mic and fun performances by the crowd.“

“I am so happy this place exists! These are the best cocktails I have had since we moved to the area from the San Francisco Bay Area. So impressed by the staff, everyone is so friendly and every drink has been fantastic. We will definitely be back!“
“A bar that simply cares. From listing the origin of the various cocktails, to the variety of the liquers that are the stars of each drink, this place truly has something to offer for everyone from all walks of life. Cocktails range from less than 10 years to over 120 years old, and countries across the world. This is a curated collection that's served with honor and care. I highly recommend a visit, and if you're not sure where to venture, ask the very knowledgeable staff. Thanks again for the experience, we will definitely be back when in town!“

“Right on walnut street! I was out with a friend and he suggested this place, I was there like 25+ years ago when it had another owner. So we went in, got some beers, and ordered. Beers came quick and cold! My friend ordered a hot turkey with gravy and fries, I ordered a hot ham and cheese. Side of bacon covered cheese fries....excellent! Prices were good, as was all the food and drink! I highly recommend this place. Don't miss out!“
“Down to earth blues club. Moondogs keeps it simple and stays true to itself. One side of the room is a stage and tables for listening. The other side is a bar. I would prefer more options for beer on tap, and I feel like Moondogs has been left behind, but perhaps that is intentional.“

“After a long bike ride on the Boston Trail we were looking for somewhere local to pop in for lunch. We just found this restaurant on Google and couldn’t be happier we gave it a shot. The waitress was absolutely fantastic and the food was delicious! The place is super clean and looks recently updated. We will for sure be back! Thanks!“

“Great little spot with friendly staff / owner and nice local hometown feel ❣️ we stopped in for dinner with a toddler and infant and got a nice quiet booth where they provided coloring materials for the toddler as well as a booster seat. The service was wonderful! They also support a new local brewery (Magnetar) and the beer was delicious!!! We will definitely be back when we want a low key family night out ?“

“I’m traveling from Oregon and stopped by for drinks and food. This is an amazing establish. Reviews don’t do justice. Highly highly recommend stopping by for a quick sip and bite. Everyone was really kind to me. As a solo traveler I wasn’t sure what I would get into. I got a simple shrimp in the basket and it was SO GOOD. Omg. I can go on and on about Squirrel Hill Cafe. From Oregon to Pittsburgh, put this one on your list to check out“

“The food at this place as absolutely great. We always compare food with the best Mexican restaurant we’ve ever been to (in Arizona) and this is the closest competitor we’ve had so far. The guacamole was great, so were the deserts. The one complaint we had was the music is so loud it’s hard to talk with people at your own table. We wish the music was a little quieter. Other than that, it was great!Parking: We had to park at the bank. It’s pretty difficult to find parking unfortunately.“

“Was there for a private party of nineteen people. Had the back room.Had the two piece fried cod with fries and salad. The cod was cooked perfectly and the fries were good. Wife had broiled cod with haluski..both were excellent. The server was also excellent. One server for the party. She was on the ball and never had to wait for a beverage refill. The only negative would be only one pasta on the menu.Would definitely recommend and will return.“

“Went to a private party upstairs, about 40-50 people, a little tight for moving around with plenty of seating available for all. Food was good, wings hot with a variety of sauces to use, Mac and cheese bits and burritos. Had pulled beef and chicken on slider buns. Mac and cheese was very good-creamy. Open bar with fair choice of beers and liquor for the party.“
“This place ROCKS. I really can’t pinpoint what it is, but every single time I’ve walked through that door, I laughed till I cried, drank good and danced all night long. Julie behind the bar is a very important piece to this puzzle. Best bartender ever, hands down!“

“My personal favorite cocktail bar in the 412 area. The vibe is awesome, very authentic speakeasy feel with the lightbulb outside and minimal storefront advertising. I'm almost hesitant to leave a review bc I like this being a hidden gem!“

“Two words: hidden gem. Commerce Bar has a sleek and sophisticated atmosphere. The cocktails are expertly crafted by skilled bartenders that take pride in their work. It shows in the finished product. The vibe here is both relaxed and upscale. As a plant lover, I loved the photos trailing from the planters along the skylight. The music is unique.“
“Absolutely A Great Place to stop for a quick drink or two...The place is beautifully clean including the bathrooms and the staff is super friendly also the food is delicious and not expensive like other bars/restaurants. I AM glad that I made a great decision on getting the membership during my first visit so I can come regularly without a escort from another member. P.S., The smoking room is outside in the back in a little patio area, which is great even for a smoker like me as I don't like the smell of smoke while I eat and all over my clothes.“
“My wife's friend had a little party there and we had a nice time and the fried chicken was on point so I definitely want to thank the cook. The drinks were pretty good too but if there was one thing they could improve on it is making Margaritas which weren't too good but I will still give 5 stars ?“

“Love this local place. Great "bar" food. Wings are the best anywhere. And the buff chick dip is yummy too. Only thing that affects negatively is when the door to the bar (smoking) area is left open or opened frequently because that smell comes through dining area. But still love this place. Always friendly and it's local ❤️“
“Jodi ( bartender, cook, waitress, cashier) was pleasant and energetic eager to work. Clean dive bar, pool table, decent burgers. There's updated menus but prices are still great. I'll be back to try the chili, I'll bring some “

“It's like being at your favorite dinner table with family and friends! With our beautiful Italian family gathering around the bar area in numbers of about 15 Friday night, we had a blast! Yes, Joe is our cousin and that is definitely warm and wonderful but Louise, Joe's matriarch, was there too which made it extra special. Lulu, chef, Delaney, "Ms. Brown", Linda and all staff were amazing and fun. So the food, sauteed arthichoke hearts, pasta fagioli, wedding soup, Chicken Romano, Veal Romano, beverage list unsurpassed and our usual standards and oh the red velvet cheesecake was picture and taste perfect. All food made to order fresh and it definitely shows the attention to every morsel we enjoyed. Oh, the bread is made locally and it's the best. We were almost the last to leave and we have all the photos to show our fun time. Can't wait to go back for their Sunday sauce. Salute and see you soon. Thank you for your "cordial" cordial to cap off the night. Highly recommend. There is nothing better than a cozy Italian restaurant that is one of a kind. Spring is here and the bocce court will be ready!“

“The front space is rather noisy but the space itself is gorgeous (maybe the back beer room is quieter?) Pizza is incredibly thin, the way I like it and absolutely delicious. It was pretty unique from what I've come to expect living in Pittsburgh the last 5 years. Great cocktails, nice wines and good beer selection. The staff were all superb, chill and easy going. Cannot wait to go back.“

“The people here are so friendly and welcoming. This place had everything. It had all the gothic alternative punk rock vibes and I loved it. Larry was my bartender and he was pretty cool. “Tonight was my first time going to this place for a meal. Every time I drive by there, I'm usually running errands on my days off off which are Saturday and Sunday and they're always busy. Well I made up my mind to go there for dinner tonight after work and I now know why they're always busy! From start to finish, everything was excellent. The service, the food presentation, the quality of the food preparation, the cleanliness of the establishment and the level of exceptional, true TEAMWORK that I witnessed from staff was just an amazing and very pleasant dining experience. I've never been there before, so I'm not positive, but I believe that the gentleman I saw busing tables and seating new customers was the owner? I love seeing people who love doing what they do in their work because they do it so much from the heart and it makes all the difference in the customer service experience for anyone who walks through that door. They have a motto there. It's something like "no bad seat in the house". And that's so true because no matter where you sit you are just as important to the folks serving you as any other person who walks through that door. I will most definitely be a repeat customer. They have a very nice variety of menu items and I want to try a lot of them. Thanks so much for a wonderful dining experience to all who serve there! ?“

“The food was exceptional and we had a great time. The only reason I'm deducting a star here and there is because my daughter, who was there to celebrate her birthday, arrived with a half-drunk Starbucks coffee and the server insisted on taking it away from her while she was seated at the table. C'mon, guys, it's not like we showed up with a picnic basket. ?“

“My partner loves it here and we will be back. It's not my cup of tea personally (I like ones with more men haha) but it was clean, safe, very busy, and staff were friendly. “This is a nice restaurant. The food was good and the service was well-done. With my food allergies, the menu was a bit limited. I can't eat garlic so I had only a few options. The prices are a bit on the high side. My salad meal with one drink and one appetizer was $48 for one person. The restaurant would improve if the lighting was brighter. It was quite dark in the restaurant.“
