“I just loved this place when I was in Illinois living there for work. I have never seen one in Pittsburgh or the surrounding area yet. I ran into this place while here on a 2 month vacation and just had to have it. I got the large itilian and my daughter got the club and both were so good. I also recommend the Mac n cheese and sweet tea. I will definitely be visiting again before I leave.“

“The best pizza I have had!! State College has far too many pizza places that are too expensive and mediocre. This place finally breaks that mold. Reasonably priced and an incredible product. I just had their Nashville hot chicken pizza and it was incredible. The staff are friendly and fun to talk to.“

“Stopped in for Sunday brunch. Our first time here and wanted to check it out based from word of mouth. Seated quickly and server took our drink orders. I had a Bloody Maria after inquiring what the difference was between that and a Mary (tequila instead of vodka). Quite good actually. Probably a new preference. My food order was something called a Capricious Goat. Egg omelette with goat cheese, cherry tomatoes, and arugula. Served with home fries. It was a plateful. Nice mix of flavors. And the goat cheese was local.Hubby got the pretzel bread which came with beer cheese and apple slices. The bread was very interesting and reminded me of dense cornbread. The cheese was also quite different from what we were used to. To me it had an almost pimento spread type vibe. Cold with just a touch of heat.Hubby's other small plate was the beef empanada. Two generous sized pieces with a roja sauce for dipping. Golden brown with a very well seasoned filling.I spied their blackboard on the wall with posted drinks and desserts and my eyes lit up when I saw banoffee pie listed. Since this is something I've always been curious about, we decided to share a slice. The presentation as it was carried to our table was impressive! There it sat on it's own little pedestal. The pie itself was very eye appealing. First bite you could tell it was ooey gooey good with all that caramel. The sliced bananas were just right and that crust was amazing too. Very rich dessert and I'm glad we tried it.Service was outstanding. Now I know why this is a popular place. Looking forward to returning.“

“Went off the beaten path today for lunch on our trek across Pennsylvania. Miller's was worth the extra mile off of I-80. The hoagies are so much better than a fast food hoagie. The ingredients were fresh, literally being taken out of the refrigerator as they made our sandwiches, compared to fast food sandwich places with all of the ingredients laid out for the day. The staff was welcoming and efficient. If I lived in the area, I'd be here for breakfast or lunch regularly! The only reason for not giving 5 stars is because my husband really wanted a wrap. We didn't see it on the menu.“

“Perfection! The place is small, with only 5 indoors tables, and it’s very busy, but the service is fast, efficient and most important- lovely! We had the BLT bagel, and the lox bagel. Loved the lox, bursting with cream cheese (jalapeño cheddar!), slices of fresh lox, capers and purple onion. This is a must!“

“I have eaten here many times and the salads are delicious. My favorite is the Backyard BBQ, which comes with breaded chicken, cheese, corn, and bacon bits. If that’s not your thing the menu is pretty flexible. It is easy to make substitutions when you want to and the wait is fairly short. They also tend to have a great dessert available if you want it, with the s’mores bars being a personal favorite. There isn’t a lot of space to eat there, so I assume most people just take it with them. I did enjoy meeting a friend here but if we had third person with us they’d either have to stand or we’d have to go somewhere else.It would be great if they could come up with a way to reuse bowls, especially for people eating in. The single use plastic bowls seem a little wasteful.Overall a great salad with a convenient location and rapid turnaround. I’ll be back :).“
