“Cafe La Maude in Philadelphia is a charming spot that blends French and Lebanese culinary traditions into a delightful brunch experience. With a 5-star rating, it’s praised for its flavorful and unique dishes, professional service, and the cozy ambiance that makes the wait worthwhile. The menu offers a mix of healthy options, and while the prices are a bit steep, the quality of the food is exceptional. It’s a place where you can enjoy a leisurely meal and feel the warmth of family history and culture in every bite.“
“Food... Amazing!! Service... Fantastic!! Atmosphere... Cozy!!I highly recommend this restaurant. I enjoy the delicious food (especially the Salmon Freekah Salad and Pistachio Sticky Bun) and the Brown Butter Artichoke Borekas are everything!!! After a year of coming here, I've tried nearly everything on the menu ? Owner, Chef Mike Solomonov is incredibly generous!!!“
“Interesting use of outdoor lawn chairs for furniture (not sure how this works in wintertime).Plus, there is a good selection of non-coffee drinks and beverage accessories.And... a cortado served in a large GLASS tumbler! Delicious and classy!“
“Love this place for Gelato and drinks. Feel like in Italy when entering the shop. can eat in or take out Gelato. There is a bar inside that they made fresh coffee as well. Best espresso martini and Aperol spitz. There is a restaurant upstairs too but didn’t try yet. Many import staff from Italy. Very enjoy to be in this place. really recommended“
“1. The food is delightful and worth the try.2. Drinks were pretty good, especially for non coffee drinkers.3. For the Banh Mi and Sando, the bread was crisp and airy. All the ingredients were fresh and delicious. The Sando has an onion aioli that is slightly overpowering (for my personal preference).4. The service was nice and friendly.5. The atmosphere is very homey and welcoming. Nice place eat and hang out with your friends and family.“
“A cute pet-friendly cafe with a persimmon theme in Fishtown. It might be a popular spot in the neighborhood as it was busy on a Sunday morningSide note: My friend recommended me Drift Magazine for city coffee guide and I was excited to flip the physical copies there. We ordered latte and cappuccino. Very smooth coffee with a nutty espresso base. Well-frothed milk gave a creamy texture. Loved the latte art on top. The porcelain mugs and coasters they used were cute. Their pastries looked attractive to serve with coffee too.“
“Lucked in to finding this place while in town. Small local restaurant, clean and friendly. The mozzarella sticks are freshly cut, battered and deep fried. Best I’ve ever had. The pizza was amazing. Had pepperoni and sausage. Sausage was legit good!“
“Il Sorriso is a hidden gem tucked away in the heart of the city. The moment you step in, you're greeted by the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff make it the perfect spot to unwind or catch up with friends. Their espresso is bold and flavorful, and their pastries are delectable. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or just looking for a relaxing atmosphere, Il Sorriso never disappoints.“
“LOVED IT HERE! Truly authentic Italian cooking, with authentic ingredients to purchase. The staff was so friendly and accomodating on their menu. We had to make a slight change in order for a vegetarian, and they had no issues. We tried their breakfast sandwiches & lunch sandwiches, and each bite was jam packed with substance & flavor (I mean, just look at the layers in my photo.) Fresh ingredients, and an overall quaint/bright spot. This would be an awesome place to post up and get some work done, do some people watching, and enjoy delicious food. Not to mention, their baked goods looked out of this world. We wanted to get so much, but I landed on their passion fruit donut, partly because it was the last one left (so I figured something must be good!) And let me tell you, their dough is different. The donut was dense & fluffy at the same time, and their passion fruit flavor was y-u-m-m-y. I can't wait to go back to try more sandwiches and get some grocery shopping done!“

“Incredible service! They're super accommodating with my dairy allergy and made an incredible vegan latte. My boyfriend got the croissant and egg sandwich and said it was perfectly crispy and the eggs and sausage were fresh. Highly recommend!“
“A pastry shop, a beacon of delight,Where morning treats turn dawn into bright. Two souls, prompt and kind,In every task aligned,Make breakfast fare a memorable sight.Croissants cradle eggs and prosciutto alike,A harmony of flavors that make us psyche.Coffee rich, price fair,In this haven rare,Perfection this place does strike.“
“I saw this place on social media so wanted to check it out. You have an amazing idea here. I thought the Z thing was only for the menu but they have their employees substituting Z’s for everything. It’s funny, it’s an experience. Great customer service IMO.Y’all need to update your address or business page on google maps, this location shows one place. I saw another location on your website, this review is for the truck at 3400 Fox St. I’m not even sure what this business page address is for. Maybe this is an old location?Onto the chicken cheesesteak. I got one with fried chicken tenders inside, lettuce, and I think they put some kind of hot sauce as well. The bread this comes on is incredible. If you want anything HEALTHY, DO NOT come here, I’m reading that it’s deep fried bread. Whatever they do to it, I could’ve ate it alone. The fried chicken inside is seasoned well. It’s kinda too much and falls apart as a result but who cares, eat some first with a fork then eat the rest. I got fries here but they were just okay. I want to come back and try something else.“
“For my wife's and my wedding anniversary dinner, we ordered around 100 individual cakes from A La Mousse for our guests. We ordered mango mousses, papa bear cakes, and tiramisus. We all loved them!! We received so many positive reviews for the cakes, especially the mango mousse. The cakes were the perfect size also, presented beautifully, and all in all we thought added a really special touch to our celebration.Lynn and her staff at the South Street location are super friendly, helpful and were great to work with in the preparation for this event. This is definitely our go-to cake place in town!“
“Stopped in from out of town. This is exactly the coffee shop you're looking for. Quick and informative service. Roasts and pulls well executed. Food was super delicious with a full spectrum of options and flavors over an uncomplicated menu.“
“I’ve gone in twice for birthday cakes. I’m horribly last-minute, but luckily they always have already-made birthday cakes for sale which are DELICIOUS. They’re super flavorful without being too much, and they’re beautiful to look at. Plus they can write a message on the cake very quickly. I’m a fan!“
“OMG, I just discovered this little spot tucked away in an office block. Absolutely the freshest food. I had a smoothie, amazing veggie panini and the soup of the day which was chicken noodle. The ladies are lovely and service is top notch. All good and will be back when the opportunity “
“A hidden jewel for good coffee nestled in Old Rittenhouse Town, Wissahickon Park. (A Beautiful area to hike or mountain bike (two separate trails) or walk your dog ). It is a coffee shop and bike shop. The surprise was the quality and freshness of the coffee. My Americano was delicious. The beans were freshly ground, and the cup was Full of flavor. The young gentleman that served me (and my dog!) was very friendly and welcoming. There are a couple of picnic tables outside to sit and enjoy your coffee and the beautiful historic Rittenhouse town.“
“Just moved to the neighborhood. We moved here because we wanted to be able to walk to places like Coffee Cream & Dreams, and I’m delighted that everything about it is so good. Big fan of the cold brew, donuts, and croissants. The service is fast and friendly too. We’ll be back often.“
“I came here for the first time after an otherwise hectic morning and had such a delightful experience. The coffee and quinoa bowl were delicious and I am obsessed with their HUSKEE drinkware, which is made from recycled coffee husks. Everything about this cafe—from the general vibe to the customer service to the art—makes me want to return, and I look forward to my next visit :).“
“Food was fresh, delicious, and fairly priced. Beware of the pickled jalapeños if you are sensitive to spicy food. Both their beef gyro and falafel were the best I’ve ever had. Please keep in mind that I don’t even like meat and I’ve been struggling with anorexia for decades. So it’s very difficult for me to eat anything unless it’s super fresh and extraordinarily tasty. This place is a true gem and treasure.Service was outstanding, The owner-host made us feel immediately welcomed and at ease. She let us customize our order and was very prompt with our food. She was very knowledgeable about the ingredients they use, as well. The seating area is small, but that is to be expected in this area.Overall, this was by far our favorite restaurant to visit in the Philly area.Vegetarian options: they have falafel, grape leaves, hummus, baba ghanoush, salads, you name it! they offer endless customization options if you’d like, as well.Dietary restrictions: they serve halal, and they are knowledgeable about the ingredients they use.“
“Delightful visit to this bakery! The mocha cake was heavenly—moist, rich in flavor, and with the perfect balance of coffee and chocolate. Paired with their freshly brewed coffee, it was an absolute treat. Cozy ambiance and friendly staff added to the wonderful experience. A must-try spot for anyone looking for quality cakes and coffee. Highly recommend!“
“Giving 5 stars because Dotty's is excellent at what they do... Even if many of the flavors are over the top and I don't actually like them. LoLI'm really loving the savory doughnuts though! I didn't think that they would be as good as they have been. :-)“
“What we ordered: Baker’s Basket, Continental Breakfast, French Omelet, and a hot latte.I’d recommend the Continental Breakfast if you’re indecisive or if you want a variety in one order, which was fun for me to try. I love the croissants here because they are not too flaky yet still buttery and fresh. However, the scone was too dry for my liking, and the toasted brioche was okay. It was a fun breakfast for us with friendly service.Be mindful of the parking as well, because you’ll need to parallel park and pay for the time you’re there. If you’re even a couple of minutes late, you may end up with a ticket, which was a painful experience for us.“
“They had several great vegan options and the owner was very kind and interested in us having a good experience. The atmosphere is a little cramped but not claustrophobic. I loved the random assortment of books and plants all over. We thoroughly enjoyed our stop here!Dietary restrictions: Great vegan options!“
“Clean minimal shop with quality matcha products and great ice cream.Strawberry and earl grey swirl are my current go to after dinner in Chinatown, however it is a seasonal flavor so get it while you can. I’ve also had the hojicha float which was refreshing and had a deep roasted nutty flavor with an edge of bitterness. What I enjoy most about this place is the typical Asian compliment when it comes to dessert “not so sweet”.Surreal is quite trendy but I find myself becoming quickly tired of it due to amount, all the toppings, and just the overall sweetness of the ice cream whereas matcha Maiko has the perfect amount of sweetness to remind you it’s a treat but not to the point where halfway through you feel like need water or tea to tone down the sugar“
“The best place to have some coffee in the center city, continently located!Service is always great and friendly. There are long lines during rush hours, so plan ahead. It can be super crowded during lunch time as well. Try their strawberry matcha latte (iced or hot) - that’s my favorite there.“
“I know this is a coffee shop but don’t sleep on the toasties! Look at that cheese pull. Immaculate, much like the cleanliness level of the shop. The guys that work there are all real stand-up dudes. But definitely get a toastie.Kid-friendliness: Just don’t be obnoxious and bring your entire stroller inside. There’s not room for that. Don’t lie to yourself for the sake of convenience. Not gonna happen.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible but bathroom may be hard to get to when they’re busy due to space limitations“
“I've been here a few times, but this time it was to celebrate a birthday. The staff was excellent and went above and beyond to make the birthday special. Everyone was so helpful & friendly plus the service was outstanding. Will be back many more “
“I just want them to make my coffee and design my apartment ? the cappuccino is the smoothest that I've had in Philly and the decorum is exquisite. The price is very affordable for a cappuccino and it's CONSISTENTLY well made, which is rare for a coffee shop. Not to mention they're open on Christmas when everyone else is closed and I appreciate that. My 5 year old and I go and sit here for hours and write and read and laugh. It's an amazing atmosphere.“
“I’m biased because I’m ethiopian myself; however, everything about Alif is hella ethiopian, hella delicious. Love their missir (lentil) samosas and i could drink a whole liter of their buna (coffee)!I come here often and will keep coming here for the food and the vibes ??☕️“
“I’ve come here multiple times in the past decade and the chaat and lassi never fail to hit the spot. I got a fig lassi and a paneer chaat, both were so refreshing and the owner is so kind and hospitable. While this spot is not in a great location, the lassis and food make it worth it!!!“
“We finally stopped by in the afternoon one day to grab a quick late brunch, and really enjoyed our experience! The cafe was really bustling and busy, obviously a local favorite. I had the bananas fosters crepe and it was amazing, truly recommend ordering it and getting a side of home fries. My husband had a breakfast sandwich and he loved it! The service was fast and the owner even came by to check on everyone in the cafe, bringing a cannoli (which was amazing) for each table. So glad we stopped by finally!“
“A true neighborhood gem! My go to order is a pork roll melt with tots and The Hulk smoothie with pineapple added. Have been eating here for over 4 years and always consistent. Great customer service. Worth making sure you have cash on hand!“
“Sabrina’s has become my go to spot for breakfast, brunch, and lunch in my area. The food and atmosphere are always outstanding, whether sitting at a table inside, outside, or at the bar. The service is also great - our waitress recently at the Art museum location, Lauren, was very attentive and friendly, helping us navigate the specials and enjoy our experience. Highly recommend!“
“We've gone here for Friday lunches a few times in the past months and have ordered over half of the paninis they have available. Everything we've had from Torchwood is phenomenal, and I can't say that we've ever had a bad sandwich. It's quickly become one of our favorite places to pop out to during the week; plus, we love the music! The pineapple mango mint tea is a must try :)“
“Given the number of various establishments at this location that have come and gone over the last few decades, the fact that Vibrant has now been here well over two years speaks for itself. The Rittenhouse Square neighborhood was relatively coffee-free for years, and thankfully several places have popped up recently. This is the best of the lot. Coffees and baked goods are consistently excellent. Baristas are usually pleasant. Unless money isn’t a concern for you, however, be advised that a regular plain coffee is around $4, and prices go up from there, so Vibrant is not the best place to frequent often. The space itself is pretty tiny, there’s no real room to sit inside, which leads to lines out the door every weekend morning and when there’s an event going on in the Square. There are some small tables outside the entrance on Locust Street. That’s it, so by necessity business is mostly takeout. Worth it for an occasional treat/splurge.“
“The food and atmosphere was remarkable. I came here Saturday and Sunday morning. The staff was soo friendly and made me feel so welcoming. The food was delicious and homemade. The homemade turkey sausages was delicious. Everything about it was amazing. I would highly recommend trying this place out. They also have outside seating and the prices are very reasonableParking: Since the place is right on market street, it can be difficult to find parking. Since I stayed at the hotel nearby, I walked to the restaurant“
“The food, service and ambiance of this restaurant were excellent! All went above and beyond expectations. Very authentic, delicious Italian food, with very attentive and friendly staff, working hard for their customers. Coming here for dinner was a wonderful way to end my visit to Philadelphia!“
“We’ve tried all the Ethiopian food in this area and this is the one that keeps us coming back. The food is sooooo good. Service is a little slow but every time we’ve been there it’s only 1 guy working and he’s working hard. We don’t mind the wait at all, we usually bring some cards or something to keep us occupied ? the restaurant is very clean. its BYOB so bring your drink of choice! I really love this place. I hope you try it.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. I eat meat but went with 2 vegetarians and we shared everything. Eating vegetarian here still is sooooo satisfying.Wheelchair accessibility: This place is not wheelchair accessible. There’s a small set of about 4 stairs you have to walk down to get into the building.“
“Creative, cozy, delicious. Yesterday I had the Thai PB&J, and if it’s available when you go, I highly recommend it. It wasn’t my first time in here. I’ve enjoyed the wonderful, cozy, 90s-coffee-shop-in-a-romcom vibe on several occasions. The service is friendly and relaxed. The coffee is delicious. But it was that sandwich yesterday that made me finally sit down and write this 5-star review. This place is a gem!“
“Forin on Coral St is my favorite lil space. The baristas here are the coolest, most down-to-earth folks who know their stuff. (Shoutout to Gab & Caleb, but seriously everyone there is a gem.) It is one of the few multi-roasters in Philly, meaning they don’t just have coffee from one roaster so there’s always delicious variety in your coffee. Not to mention, their specialty drinks are home runs every time. There’s room to sit if you want to read or book, the atmosphere and aesthetics are charming if you want to stay and chat, and the community that surrounds it is filled with some lovely humans. Definitely recommend Forin to anyone who’ll listen. You can find something for everyone, whether it be a kid-friendly hot chocolate, a nice single-origin drip for your coffee connoisseur friends, or a tasty mocha to keep you trucking through this capitalist hellscape — it’s a welcoming space for all.Dietary restrictions: So many vegan milks to choose from“
“I’m Moroccan, i went to this Algerian café restaurant Yesterday to meet a Tunisian friend the place was nice and clean beautiful space n welcoming service, i tried a Merguez sandwich served with black olive and homemade french fries and is was delicious. Price was more then fair $10 for the whole plate. Thank you for the good service, definitely will try it again. Thank you“
“Been going here for about 3 years and recently tried the chai. If you’re a chai lover, you HAVE to try it out! Amazing spices and it doesn’t need to be sweetened at all. Every beverage I’ve tried has been amazing, as well as the pastries. If you’re thinking about going, you will not be disappointed!!“
“My mother and I visited this cute spot for our morning warm hugs in a cup. I ordered the Chai latte with almond milk in the ginger flavor and it twas DELIGHTFUL. The service from the staff was swift and sweet.I also noticed some vegan goodies on the menu I may have to try while I am in town ?“
“I have had the pleasure to come and eat/ drink/ buy products! The Owner is amazing beautiful and her skin is flawless. I Love it! Check them out! Grab yourself a delicious smoothie. The classes are really dope if you want to go for your bday. Girlfriend day out attend a workshop. Congratulations on your 3 years anniversary. Many more to come“
“Went there to get coffee and also try a new spot out, we got there around 1:30 and we didn’t know they closed at 1:00, (we went off of the time that was set on Google maps) we were about to walk to the door but the owner of the store came out and said they were closed but still kindly asked what we wanted to get and he offered us inside and let us order and gave us some knowledge about coffee because I’m used to going to Starbucks & Dunkin ? we got some pastries and he offered us a free blueberry tart since it was our first time coming in, They’re filled beignet is to die for. everything was so fresh 10/10“
“Food is great ? a bit expensive but worthy. Service is great and clean place . The only thing I feel is all tables are to close to get and felt a bit wired being close to strangers ?. It is a good place for a first date !!! Will return for the ? pizza.“
“What a Gem!!! Everything was fantastic. But really sets the cafe apart from ALL others is the Barista. A true ambassador of the Nona and Pops but also of Termini. I wish I had asked her name. She is the epitome of customer service and quite evident she loves her job and her employer. Give her a big raise, elevate her within the company to customer service trainer for all of your new employees.“
“such a cute cafe! I’ve been wanting to stop by for the longest but never had the time to until recently. I walked in and the gentleman at the register recommended “the Antonio” sandwich…and let me tell you, I came back the next day for another one! It was so good! The 2nd time around, I was able to get my hands on their tarts and they were delicious. Will def continue to make my way in.“
