“Wonderful little restaurant with more than just sushi on the menu. The decor is fresh and the restaurant is super clean. The sushi is made on the spot and is amazing. Same for the stir fry dishes which were a tasty surprise. You can see the chefs making everything. They’re not hiding in the back like other restaurants. I highly recommend this Mika Sushi but space is limited so call to reserve a table.”

“Superb ability to adapt on the part of the manager and his employees. I arrived this morning around 8:30 with 4 children for lunch and to play in the amusement park. They were preparing the room for a birthday but we were still given the space and allowed to play. It was very appreciated. The manager also came to bring us our orders directly to the room. Really nice service.”

Loved the vibe overall and definitely worth making a detour for - it's a great spot for a date, to hang with friends, or to entertain business colleagues/clients. They've completely upped their game even further and cemented its status as one of the best cocktail bars in the city.”

“I was excited to go to Joe Beef with my son, since we both had been hearing great things about the place for years. Upon entry, we were warmly greeted by several of the staff as we walked through the restaurant to our bar seat. I always try to sit at the bar since you can chat with the staff, as they cook or prepare drinks. The service was outgoing and helpful, and the atmosphere was charming and cozy. We started with the escargot, which were great, but the butternut squash soup was absolutely spectacular, and by far the best thing of the entire meal. After that, we had the duck, and the lobster pasta, which came highly recommended. The duck dish was succulent, apparently “free range” which gave it a bit of a gamey taste, and it came with a gorgeous savoury sauce which included delicious duck hearts. Unfortunately, the lobster claw, (still in its shell), that came with the pasta was a little off, not exactly fresh, but the other parts of the lobster were great. We finished off with the “Profiteroles Poire & Chocolat”, an ice cream, pear, cookie and chocolate dessert. As I understand it, the ice cream was homemade which helped make it a wonderful dessert. All in all, we had a great time, but I have to say that the food was good, but not the kind of “blow your mind amazing” that I hope for from a high-end restaurant.”
