“The staff are very friendly. The subs are delicious and affordable. My only complaint is that there is no automatic door opening button which makes things difficult for me because of my Mobility issues. Once a staff member noticed me coming to the door and ran out to open the door for me but normally they are too busy and not in line of sight of the door.”

“This was a highlight of our trip to Ottawa! It was difficult to find a good variety of gluten free options downtown. The Orange Turtle was amazing! They had multiple gluten free cookies to choose from as well as many other yummy gluten treats. The mango cranberry banana bread was delicious. The owner was very kind and friendly as we enjoyed chatting with him. The coffee was also very good. We will be going back here next time we are in Ottawa.”

“I love the food here. I had sushi yesterday and it was delicious. My mother ordered a salmon poke bowl and it looked so fresh and delish too! The only thing I wish they can improve is the space between the tables, The place is a bit crowded. But overall food and service is great.”

“My wife and my favourite food in the world are meat and cheese pies. Everyone needs to try these pies and then add them to their lives as a staple food. There’s nothing like ordering pies and eating them right away in your car. So flavourful, so gooey and cheesy. Get them with spice and lemon juice, Omg! “Went in randomly for lunch. Ordered spicy chicken with rice. It came with salad on side I think it’s seaweed.
I was quite surprised how nicely spiced it was and how huge the proportion was. It was hot and I loved every bit of it. Presentation was great too.
I have never had Chinese food this good before. Definitely coming back.”

“First time visitor on March 23, to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The restaurant was happily booked up when I tried to make a reservation, so I was only able to secure a table at 5:15pm. I left a little note asking them to keep us in mind if there was a cancellation for a later spot, and they contacted me by email, text, and phone when a later table became available for 6:15pm. Very responsive and friendly staff. Our time at Soif was marvellous. The staff were friendly and extremely professional. Service was relaxed yet very polished. Our server was knowledgeable about the wine and took great care to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. We had a flight of wine to start, followed by a beautiful bottle of white, and a flight of bubbles to end our evening. We shared a half cheese/half charcuterie platter that came with a mountain of crispy and delicious crostini, the latter being refilled without having to ask. Such a small but lovely touch. We also shared roasted Brussels sprouts, frites and aioli, a bison tartare, and grilled radicchio, that were all delicious. They surprised my friend with a little dessert wine and candle to acknowledge her birthday, which was so kind and thoughtful. I have not a single critique. The team here works like a well-oiled machine. No one seemed frantic or rushed. It was a lovely evening. I (we) will definitely be back. Santé!”

“Visited while on a trip to Ottawa, so glad we did. Staff are super friendly and accommodating, lots of games to choose from (although we brought our own from a recent purchase at Imaginaire and they charge you less if you bring your own games so, bonus!). We didn't have any food but the cappucino I had was fabulous (and a great portion size). The nerd trivia upstairs on Monday seemed fun, although not our topic (Star Trek not being either of our forte). This is a great place, highly recommended.”
