“Was there for lunch today with 3 people. Ordered simple poutine and beer. Food and beer was great. My colleagues meals looked great as well. Service was fast and efficient from being served the beer and food very quickly to getting the cheque as soon as we were done. This seems likely an excellently managed restaurant. Great selection of beers too!“

“Went back to Town for the first time since 2018. Food and drink is still good but I do dislike that they merged the menu with Citizen. They used to be distinct and have different reasons to dine at, now it’s basically the same restaurant that takes the best from both and removes a lot of other options. Service was quick but it did feel a bit like they were trying to rush us out to turn around the table. Prices were fair.“

“I discovered this restaurant about 3 months ago and since then, im addicted to it! This place has amazing good food. The Bun Bo Hue "spicy", lemongrass soup is my favourite. I eat it at least 2-3 time per month. It is sooooo flavourful!!! Then, I've tried Bun Cha for the first time yesterday and I fell in love with this plate too. So fresh, so flavourful. I can't wait to discover more of their food. And, the service is amazing, employees are super nice. Love this place“

“First time visitor on March 23, to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The restaurant was happily booked up when I tried to make a reservation, so I was only able to secure a table at 5:15pm. I left a little note asking them to keep us in mind if there was a cancellation for a later spot, and they contacted me by email, text, and phone when a later table became available for 6:15pm. Very responsive and friendly staff. Our time at Soif was marvellous. The staff were friendly and extremely professional. Service was relaxed yet very polished. Our server was knowledgeable about the wine and took great care to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. We had a flight of wine to start, followed by a beautiful bottle of white, and a flight of bubbles to end our evening. We shared a half cheese/half charcuterie platter that came with a mountain of crispy and delicious crostini, the latter being refilled without having to ask. Such a small but lovely touch. We also shared roasted Brussels sprouts, frites and aioli, a bison tartare, and grilled radicchio, that were all delicious. They surprised my friend with a little dessert wine and candle to acknowledge her birthday, which was so kind and thoughtful. I have not a single critique. The team here works like a well-oiled machine. No one seemed frantic or rushed. It was a lovely evening. I (we) will definitely be back. Santé!“

The mochi deserts with chocolate decoration is a fun thing for kids and adults alike. No MSG in any of the dishes we tried, which is a bonus for my dad whose stomach can't tolerate. Will be back. “Went for my wifes birthday with 2 other couples we've known for 20 years. The food was amazing. Very good! The drinks went down easy and very tasty! One of the staff recomended a game to us and we played it for hours. We all had a blast and created new lifelong memories! I would really recomend this place to anyone! “A lovely family-run restaurant in a great neighbourhood! We've been here every time we visit Ottawa, and so far every time has been excellent. We've tried a variety of their dumplings and their pad thai, and all of it is delicious. They don't have interior seating, so if there's good weather then you can sit at the tables they put out. A great bonus is that they are also environmentally-friendly - they asked us to bring back the take-out containers if we weren't going to reuse them so they could sanitize and reuse them themselves. We love everything about this place and will definitely be back again!“

We ordered the white fish appetizer which my girlfriend found delicious and I just thought it was missing a little something more. We ordered the trout main and the pot pie special. The pot pie was delicious, however we were disappointed with the trout, especially at that price point. The trout itself was good, and the pasta with chorizo was good, but it just didn’t work together. The pasta was too spicy and it took away from the fish. Extremely disappointed with that considering it’s also the most expensive thing on the menu. With all that said the service was fantastic. Couldn’t have had a better waitress.“

The owners are very nice and welcoming, they always greet every customer with a smile. ?I got the platters for a birthday party, which were a hit with the guests.I’ve never seen salmon and tuna this fresh in Ottawa. I usually go for the specialty rolls or tacos. I have been in many places from Paris , Nice, Cannes, Venice, Rome, Florence, Amsterdam, Geneva, Frankfurt, Berlin, to Washington DC, Austin ...There's only a couple of restaurants in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh ville that are better. Excellent price-quality ratio but no parking, no reservation and no credit card accepted.“

“You need to go here. Visited Ottawa this weekend and found Oh My Grill one night for dinner. Every single bite was perfection. Everything was flavourful and seasoned. The chicken was tender and of good quality. The garlic sauce, omg, so good. The hummus. The potato's bursting with flavour.
