“Great food .. pasta genovese was fantastic.. but a tad on the cold side. Not sure if it has maybe waited on the kitchen counter for one too many minutes though the service wasn’t the fastest either. Maybe 1 waiter shorts as I think they were only 2. Restaurant itself was well designed and charming but room temperature a little on the cold side as my finger tips and toes felt it all night so wasn’t necessarily the most comfortable dinner I’ve had.That being said the tuna carpaccio was fantastic and so was the beef tartare.Overall B+ for me“

“Ate here for the first time tonight and it was an excellent time! Hostess was super warm and welcoming and service was friendly and helpful. We tried the hong kong curry, veggie udon, sesame wings and poutine. Every dish was delicious. For 2 ppl with average appetites, we were full with 4 shared dishes and dessert. The chinese churros and Mango Tango cocktail were delicious too. The atmosphere was buzzing and the decor is beautiful. Lots of attention to detail. We’ll definitely be back with friends :)“

“This place was amazing. We spent our honeymoon in Montreal and this was the final destination of our first night. The pop-up @blacklagoonmtl had amazing decorations, ambience, music, etc. The owner/bartender was super friendly and very entertaining (especially in combination with some local regulars), and the drinks were creative and delicious. Public transit makes it easy to get here even if you're staying in downtown Montreal. If you're into a local bar scene with professionals who appreciate the art, service and science of tending bar, this is a must-see. Also, get a shirt. The design alone is worth it.“

“First time visiting The Keg last evening for an anniversary and my fiancé and I really enjoyed ourselves. Our waitress (Peggy) was very welcoming, funny and caught on to the reason for the night and brought us out completely champagne. We both thought that was very nice.Service was some of the fastest I’ve ever seen. Our starter came out what felt like 2 minutes after ordering it along with our drinks. (Almost like they knew what we wanted before us) Our mains were properly portioned and so incredibly delicious.We don’t often dine at higher end restaurants as it’s usually a treat, but wow. We talked about our experience a few times on the way home. Definitely coming back.“

“First we had impeccable service from our server.And we ordered 6 dishes + a dessert.Everything was excellent and he was able to guide us through the menu on the essentials or the best sellers.Very impressive to have two jellyfish dishes on their menu. We chose the salad.Then the rice cakes, chicken wings, grilled squid, soft shell crab and loc lac beef were all excellent.We also tried the fried bananas for dessert.The only negative point is that the wine list is limited but we still did well.“

“I ordered for take out this evening and the food was amazing! We had the Chef's Special Supreme and the Hawaiian, both of which were delicious. The supreme was a perfect amount of spicy and creamy, and the Hawaiian had a nice vinaigrette. The service was great and the staff were helpful. Can't wait to eat there again!“
