“A great way to end the day with a pie :), that always put a smile on my face.Lovely place and a descent variety of pies and cakes to match almost everybody tase and the plus their limited food menu to help you diversify your choices and cover all your bases. Reasonable priced with knowledgeable staff to make great recommendation.“
“I had the pleasure of trying their cold brew coffee and their dark roast, both are exceptional. I also have tried their peanut butter jam ice cream, sooooo smooth and delicious, literally like you’re eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich but WAY BETTER! I had their pickled eggplant which is the best I’ve ever had. I have tried the BLT sandwich and their chicken parm sand which and you can tell they’re made with love, amazing flavours, and FRESH, home made bread is to die for. 10/10“
“Good atmosphere, competitive price, food is good, the group was fantastic.I would have preferred that he had had a little song in French.Good eveningan experience to discover. even in a very English corner, impeccable and very appreciated service in French. if you have a sweet tooth this is the place. t. O my gods the desserts are absolutely delicious. atmosphere well decorated with attention to detail, competitive price, small place if in the area to discover I think you will be delighted..“
“We've often walked by with the intention on trying this charming, understated café-buvette for brunch and we finally found the perfect snowy Sunday for it.We started with the obligatory mimosa (for the basic b in us) after a complimentary cup of maple syrup drizzled fruit. We followed that with an outright divine 8-hour braised ham grilled cheese that knocked our snow-filled socks off and smoked salmon between an English muffin and hollandaise topped eggs bendict we couldn't get enough of. Both dishes came with exquisite potatoes and an essential homemade mayo to dip them in. Needless to say we didn't leave a single crumb of this fantastic, elevated Sunday brunch. Our experience was made all the better by friendly, helpful and extremely quick service.“
“Stopped by Café Coin Des Délices a couple days ago and had to write about their really their croissant and mochaccino. The croissant is just perfect - flaky on the outside, soft inside, with that fresh-baked buttery taste. The croissant cost 2.50$, which is really cheaper than almost all cafes in Montreal/Laval.As for the mochaccino, it’s a warm hug in a mug, with the right mix of chocolate and coffee, topped with the creamiest whipped cream. It cost me 4.50$.I paid a total of 7$ for both items which I found amazing. Nothing in Montreal costs 7$ anymore, this place is my go-to always! This is a cozy spot with very friendly staff, making every visit even better than the one before!“
“I bought myself an espresso machine and went to buy coffee at Faro.I met Guy and he took care of me directly. He made me taste different coffees to find my preferences. Then he explained to me in detail how I should go about making delicious espresso.Thank you for your time and valuable advice. Guy and his team are passionate. They don't just want customers, they want us to have the best experience possible.I recommend to everyone“
“Very nice place, the service was great they really explained everything in a clear and polite manner. They offer 2 types of paints: Ceramic paint (wich takes 2 weeks to be baked and glossed) and Acrylic paint (you can leave with your project on the same day). They also offer no parents days and Painting classes! The food was good and came out hot! We got the nachos and Gourmet hot cocoa and it was really good and tasty. Overall a really nice place for kids and adults !! If you can't finish your ceramic painting on the day you go, you can bring it home and come back for only 4$ on another day. Please call and make a reservation before showing up in case they don't have space. Enjoy!“
“The BEST cafe in the West Island. Everything is amazing and of the best quality— the soups, sandwiches, salads, pastries, cakes, cookies, coffees, teas... I have been going there for over 2 years now and have never once been disappointed. They also have many vegetarian and vegan options (for food and drink) and they even go out of their way to make sure I (and others) have veg/vegan alternatives. The ambiance is wonderful and welcoming. Most importantly, the owners and staff are the kindest and most accommodating people I have the pleasure of knowing. I will never NOT recommend TWIGS <3“
“Nice spacious spot in a quiet area for an afternoon coffee/tea with little treats. I love that they have vegan and gluten free options. Drinks and desserts were brought to our table. Just note that they close at 5:30pm so make sure you get there earlier. There's some free parking spots around the café. A great find!“
“We drove all the way from downtown with my friends as we heard so much about this place. The owner was the sweetest lady ever, she reopened the store just for us! The gelato was to DIE FOR. It was so good. The pistachio and hazelnut flavours are just so gooood. So worth the drive! It truly is some great Authentic Italian GelatoThank youuuu“
“I've been going to this cafe for years nowcute, eco-friendly, vintage the only problem is that the drinks such as coffee or matcha are never hot, they are lukewarm so which prevents you from enjoying this little pleasure and sipping it quietly, it closes early like coffee .Not cheap value for money!I tried smoothies, sandwich pastries, coffee and matcha!“
“Amazing! The sandwiches are super fresh, you can tell it’s made from quality ingredients and fresh cut cold meats! Also tasted the Mille feuille cake it was to die for! The cream was light and the pastry was fresh, I will definitely come again and visit this cafe! I had to take a sandwich home“
“Fresh, delicious ,and beautifully decorated desserts. The owner is very nice, and is willing to serve with nice smile. The food is fresh and very tasty. I diffenitly recommend this place.Vegetarian options: You can find so many vegan delicious foods“
“Randomly stumbled upon this local cafe. Very nice coffee, though I wish the coffee was a bit hotter. Suggestion to the barista to heat the bowl/cup first before serving (cold kitchen air might be a factor here?)Absolutely loved their croissant with egg, in terms of value and taste, the way the chef prepared the scrambled eggs mixed with cheese and cooked to perfection, was the best! The chicken burger was quite tasty, right amount of spiciness, pulled chicken with the sauce pair well with that type of veggie. Let's not forget about the potatoes, these were one of the best breakfast potatoes I've ever had, the lightly crisped exterior mixed with just the right amount spices! However for the price, I'd rather have the croissant with egg though. Still, definitely give this a try. FOR THE POTATOES ??The Sandwich Dejeuner was a little disappointing, nothing stands out and the toast was a bit too hard. Some of the veggies also weren't very fresh.Vegetarian options: They have at least 2-3 vegetarian options on the menuParking: On weekdays, it is quite difficult to find parking, but if you come on the weekend, about 2 streets away from Decarie, you have some 2 hours free parking.“
“Superb local shop! Lots of local products and across Quebec that are sold there. It's centralized and so convenient for making unique gift baskets. A family business that also serves us with the biggest smile and the most beautiful sincerity in the world in wanting to make our local entrepreneurs shine. It is certainly worth the detour and you will find yourself spending much more time there than you would have anticipated as soon as you walk through the door! ???“
“Fantastic and friendly service. The menu changes every season. The food is delicious and modern (breakfast/brunch style). However, it's ??for the portion. It's a super popular spot so please make sur to make a reservation, especially on the weekend. In the pictures (putting a star next to recommended dishes)⭐- Burratina and Roasted Figs and Pomegranata to share⭐- Soup of the Day (Sweet Potato)- Gin & Honey salmon gravlax Bagel- Grilled Cheese- Gaspor Farms sausage and bacon breakfast sandwich⭐- Egg Benedict skillet with Smoked salmon⭐⭐⭐- Selection of cupcakes (delicious chocolat and caramel cupcake).“
“The best coffee place in Pointe Claire. Great coffee, specialty coffees, and unique featured drinks. They are clearly involved in the local scene with frequent crossover events with other businesses as well as a rotating selection of art, books, and other maker crafts.Their pastries are supplied fresh daily from nearby bakeries and it shows. Everything is delicious and includes a broad selection of sweet and savoury treats. All in all, an excellent place to get a great cup of coffee.Dietary restrictions: A wide range of alternative milk options and staff are very knowledgeable about the ingredients that go into every coffee.“
“I had a long day and just wanted some comfort food, and this cafeteria style dining was just right. They had a variety of pan asian food, salads, sandwiches, and pastas, along with a variety of desserts. The pecan pie was amazing!J'ai eu une longue journée et je voulais juste de la nourriture réconfortante, et cette salle à manger de style cafétéria était parfaite. Ils avaient une variété de plats pan-asiatiques, des salades, des sandwichs et des pâtes, ainsi qu'une variété de desserts. “We used Dolci Piu for our wedding cake + a birthday cake for a guest whose birthday it was. I can’t believe it’s from the same bakery as some of the reviews here. Dolci Piu was recommended by our wedding planner. They prepared amazing boxes for our tasting to pick our flavour and we’re easy to work with. We modified a design from their Instagram for our wedding cake. The cake was DELICIOUS and beautiful!“
“Great little cafe. Laval is severely lacking coffee shops, and this place does its best to fill the void. The cap, latte and Americano we ordered were all great. The chocolatines were also fresh.Closes early most days, so a good spot for some java and maybe a snack.“
“It's a warm, historic and rustic place that offers very good quality coffee. We discovered this roastery and we were served with courtesy. Being new to roasting and coffee, the staff guided us to micro-batch coffee discoveries. What can we say about the owner who is just as welcoming as he is knowledgeable. I highly recommend! It's worth the detour!“
“I just popped in to look and have a cookie, because I do not drink coffee or find myself in cafés. But they impressed me with a smoothie menu and other baked goods.it took a while to be served, maybe there was a shift change and many children's milkshakes being made, but I'll stop in more often now.“
“Friends and I tried a few dishes and they were amazing!Hamburger was moist and delicious, KFC chicken and General Tao were to die for and the sushi can’t get enough of it. I will be back to rate other dishes soon ?The staff are super friendly and warm.“
“Le Rêve d’Helene is a hidden gem of a caterer and location! Helene and Luc went above and beyond to ensure our event was perfect for us. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The service was impeccable, with every detail taken care of without us having to do anything. The food was delicious, with a great selection of options. Despite the high quality, the pricing was competitive and reasonable. What truly sets Le Rêve d’Helene apart is the personalized touch they bring to your event. Helene and Luc are incredibly helpful and welcoming, making sure every guest feels at home. The choice of food menu was fantastic, and the decor of the tables provided added an elegant touch to the ambiance. Helene will tailor to your food needs and even makes beautiful cakes for your occasion. Everything she serves is made in house. The cafe was also beautifully decorated as the tables and chairs were transformed and beautifully dressed. The availability of a speaker for music was a bonus, slowing for a small dance floor. . Whether it's a shower, baptism, or birthday, I wholeheartedly recommend Le Rêve d’Helene to anyone looking for alders sized (40-60 people), welcoming location. Don't hesitate—thank you, Helene and Luc, for making our event truly memorable!Vegetarian options: Menu tailored to your needsDietary restrictions: Menu tailored to your needsWheelchair accessibility: On ground floor right in front of the wheelchair parking“
“Very very very good. The meals are always good. The variety of the menu will please everyone. And to conclude, the 7-star service makes you want to come back every day of the week. I recommend this establishment especially if you work in the surrounding area.“
“Amazing Experience and lovely service cant wait to go againDietary restrictions: great opions for vegans and veggies as well and gluten free aopionsParking: great spots and accesibleKid-friendliness: go to to the kidsWheelchair accessibility: ROLLIN“
“I can’t believe I only started to visit this place this year. They have excellent coffee and and endless option of ice cream choices. Soft ice cream , hard ice cream , gelato , etc.My kids and I just love this place !! Oh and they are very nice too.“
“The building may not be inviting since it's in a neighborhood of large industrial buildings. But the owner is very warm and the wraps (I had BLT and Chicken/Avocado) are delicious. They are normal size, but I was very hungry. The atmosphere is correct, there could be some music, however there are tables outside. To visit ! They are very good dishes, not expensive with a human service :) 9$/wrap with taxes.“
“Atmosphere is beautiful, staff is friendly but… super disorganized. I ordered hot chocolates and cappuccinos to go but it took 30 minutes to make. Our drinks weren’t hot, not even warm… I also ordered the chicken schnitzel sandwich with waffle fries that came out in no time but I still had to wait 30 minutes for my drinks. So as you would expect my food was cold since it was to go. There is potential here, staff need to synchronize and communicate. Sure I could have gone back in and asked to redo my order but I didn’t feel like waiting another 30 minutes to get the same outcome.“
“Everything you want in a coffee shop and bistro: Great food, wonderful coffee, and pleasant atmosphere. The owners are super-nice, and flexible with their times for large events like book readings, club meetings, etc. Bottom-line, best coffee shop in Panama City!“
“This location is a favourite to get our fix of authentic Montreal style bagels when we visit. It’s really really fun to get hot out of the oven fresh bagels. They are so good. The inside has a lot of space with some seating. I haven’t tried the sandwiches or other food but am guessing they’d be good as well. Definitely recommend any bagel from here!“
“Go for it without hesitation! It was for us, Saturday at 11 a.m. for their lunch offer.I really fell for their egg, ham and béchamel crepe! With a mimosa it was so perfect! My husband chose the veggie omelette accompanied by small hash brown potatoes that were so delicious. An atmosphere and impeccable service. Everything was perfect!Congratulations to the whole team!“
“Loved this place, the waitress was great kept coming every while and asking how's everything. The food is good, I didn't try much from the menu. The atmosphere is nice but I would've appreciated arabic music instead of English as it's middle Eastern restaurant.“
“It was my first experience in this ceramic. Usually I go to the ceramic cafe. I really loved the experience. I went accompanied. It cost around $85, 2 latte drinks, a chicken panini and 2 coins with the hours. The lady was really nice. I can't wait to see the results of our pieces.“
“Such a cute little quaint cafe. I was reading the review and they were saying the lattes and mocaccinos are smooth to drink. The oat milk latte did not disappoint. I did not expect the drink to be so smooth and rich. You get the rich flavor of the coffee but it's so smooth so you don't taste the bitterness. I also had a lavender latte once before, that was amazing. Not everyone likes lavender flavor so maybe opting for a regular latte first is better. Definitely going to be a regular stop when in the West Island. My sister also had a bubble tea and said it was really good. Very enjoyable and the staff is quite friendly. You can tell it's family owned. We always love to support small businesses.Vegetarian options: You can opt for non-dairy products for the coffees.“
