“We took an afternoon, walk to go and grab a coffee somewhere and found this little gem. The coffee is quite tasty and the view is very nice. It’s just in front of Place des Arts. Delicious drinks, in a very nice part of the city.Parking: Depending on the time of day and the day of the week, you may be able to find street parking on Ontario Street, Saint Laurent Street and since you are close to the main attractions, there are also interior parking spaces around“

“Been to quite a few steak houses in Montreal. With marketing, very difficult to tell the tourist trap from great food till it’s over. The Keg, has never let me down. Service is always 100%. Even with a full front of house, the kitchen has your food out in a VERY reasonable time. Fresh baked bread, great drinks, awesome prime rib, the wedge salad is perfect. Every bite shows the same temp, no black but raw in the middle. It’s shows the streak was cooked low and slow, you can’t fake that, it’s not possible. It also shows they care.“

“I recently had the pleasure of visiting this charming German schnitzel breakfast spot, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The owner, who was incredibly kind and easy to talk to, set the perfect tone for a fantastic meal.Firstly, let's talk about the food. Everything on the menu was made in-house, and you could taste the freshness in every bite. The schnitzel was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, just as it should be. The homemade sausage was also a favourite, hint of spiciness with lots of flavour. What truly stood out, besides the delicious food, was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the owner. His passion for his craft was evident in every aspect of the experience, from the carefully curated menu to the impeccable service. It's not often that you come across such genuine hospitality, and it made the meal even more memorable.I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for an authentic German breakfast experience. You won't be disappointed!“

“Our wonderful lunch started before we entered the restaurant! As we approached the door, a gentleman staff came out to help us with the walker. We enjoyed every bit of our meal which was served in this special and inviting environment. Then as we were paying the bill, the same gentleman came over to help my husband down the steps and another carried the walker to the sidewalk. On a score of 5 stars, I want to make Toucheh a 10!“

“This is a nice place to eat with great food and one of the few places open for lunch. My husband had the pasta with the muscles, clams, lobster, shrimp, calamari, and scallops.....I had the green pasta in a cream saffron sauce with the small shrimp in the pasta and both of these dishes were amazing. This is one of the few places with birra moretti in Montreal which is my husband's favorite. The owner and waiter were nice and helped us with a great selection on lunch and they make you feel like family. I highly recommend this place.“

“Like having a baguette in Paris but with way better service. Staff is always kind, courteous and efficient. The croissants and chocolatines are buttery and flaky and their chouquettes are like eating buttery sugary air. A must try in my books“

“Excellent service et le personnel est accueillant et très sympathique. De plus, je recommande cet endroit à ceux qui ont l’oreille sensible aux bruits, car la musique n’est pas trop forte ce qui permet aux clients de pouvoir discuter ensemble sans avoir l’impression de crier pour se faire entendre. La nourriture est excellente et se partage très bien.“

“We arrived for our reservation quite early but we were still able to be seated immediately. Our waitress was very friendly and of course spoke both French and English. We enjoyed Edamame and Chicken Gyoza to start and then had the Park Maki and Bluefin Bluefin. The appetizers were good and the sushi was absolutely wonderful. Finally, we enjoyed an omakase dessert. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely return.“

“We ordered tacos, torta & flan from Ta Chido tonight and that was the BEST takeout order we’ve had in these COVID times! The restaurant’s prices were so reasonable and the quality of the food exceeded our expectations! The meats were freshly-cooked, the order arrived warm despite the 20-minute drive it took for Uber to deliver. Unfortunately, I thought an order was missing and I quickly contacted Uber and they adjusted my bill. I’m now in the process for Uber to correct my mistake.“

“Amazing food, service, and atmosphere at a Montreal landmark! The owner of 36 years watches over everything and there are servers who have been here since the beginning. That means they are treated well, and as a customer, that comes through in excellent service!! Our server at our first visit was "Gourmet"! And he gave us a Gourmet experience! We return regularly now, and I can say ALL servers deserve praise. So thanks Le Taj!!!Kid-friendliness: It's a beautiful restaurant for adults...but it's also my 7 year old daughter's favorite ?. The servers are highly experienced and kind. My daughter feels like a princess at Le Taj.“
“Excellent for buying anything you need quickly to fill your pantry, they have a wide variety of things and if you get hungry on the way somewhere you can stop by to buy some sushi or some of the salads they have inside and eat it in their dining rooms. It seems like an excellent option to me. They also have these beers that are very good and with a good level of alcohol ?“

“When it comes to gluten free pastries, I’ve not seen a single bakery that comes close to what you can get at Boulangerie Le Marquis. I live in Ottawa but always come here when I’m in Montreal.I’ve had a lot of the tarts, but the Pain Chocolate and Croissants (both gluten free) are certainly the best. The dough is actually laminated, the way you’d expect a croissant to be. So many gluten free bakeries have let me down on that front but this is not one of them! You can buy them fresh or frozen. They store well in the freezer for up to a few months and are easy to reheat. Pictures attached are the pain chocolats reheated in the oven with an egg wash.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free. Best spot in Montreal to get gluten free pastries, everything here is gluten free.“

“Very good gluten free location. My only sadness is that back in March 2022 they had this delicious pistachio & chocolate cookie that appeared on the menu.. then suddenly a few months later when I came back in they informed me that they never had such a creation? I dream of that cookie. I wish I knew its name & why it appeared so suddenly just as suddenly as it disappeared.“

“Je vous recommande fortement Bonbon Collections si vous avez des allergies ou intolérances alimentaires! Leurs desserts sont délicieux! Vous pouvez tromper vos proches sans problème, ils ne sauront pas qu'il n'y a aucun allergène prioritaire dans le gâteau. La liste des ingrédients est simple aucun ajout discutable. Honnêtement, je suis vendue depuis plusieurs années et j'ai toujours des petits gâteaux en format individuel dans mon congélateur comme ils sont un bon dépanneur!“

“During a leisurely stroll through downtown Montreal, my son and I, driven by a craving for burgers, ventured into La Belle & le Boeuf. Though it wasn't my first visit to this restaurant, it had been a while since I last dined here, a hiatus more due to Montreal's vast dining landscape than any fault of the establishment itself.Upon entering, we were promptly greeted and escorted to a cozy table for two near the bar, a prime location amidst the bustling atmosphere of the restaurant. Despite the crowd, the staff's efficiency in taking our order was remarkable. Anticipating a wait for our food given the busy scene, I was pleasantly surprised when our order arrived promptly. Our adventurous appetite led us to order a platter brimming with chicken wings, pogos, onion rings, fries, and sliders, an ambitious choice that proved to be more than we could tackle—even with a hungry teenager in tow. The portion was generous, to say the least.Throughout our meal, the staff maintained a perfect balance of attentiveness, ensuring our experience was comfortable without being intrusive. Their frequent check-ins added a personal touch to our dining experience.La Belle & le Boeuf stood out not only for its rapid service amidst a busy environment but also for its commitment to customer satisfaction through attentive service. It was a reminder of why, despite the abundance of dining options in Montreal, returning to familiar favorites can still yield delightful surprises.“

“Order #13 Phở Tái Gân Sách, size large. Nice tasting broth, fresh basil, lean portion on the tripe and tendon — thin pieces, which is fine, but far too few of both the tripe and the tendon. Less of the rare beef than other restaurants as well but quantity there perfect for my preferences.I will return, though perhaps try ordering my pho with their a la carte option in the hopes of getting a bit more.Dinning partner ordered the Phở Gà (chicken), large with a mango bubble tea. Pho was enjoyed with good amount of chicken.Service fast and attentive. Space standard clean and comfortable. Parking, if needed, easily found (metered in front, free available around corner.)“

“Came here for the first time on Valentine’s Day and the owner/chef kyrin was super attentive and ensured we had a special time. We went pretty late in the evening, closer to close and we did not feel rushed at all and we were taken care of nicely. The owner gave us a dessert to share at the end which made the night extra special. Thanks so much again.“

“This is one of Montreal's gems. V, the owner, has made an outstanding job fusioning Mexican and Indian cuisines. His signature drinks and dishes layer these seemingly different flavors to create unique pieces. He is also an excellent host, so the experience is perfect. My personal recommendation are the falafel tacos ?“

“This bakery is truly a gluten free heaven. After being diagnosed with celiac 15 year ago I had given up hope on ever eating light flaky pastries again. But, the brothers behind Parc Sans Gluten are magicians. Their croissants are perfection! True perfection by any standards! Each of their wide assortment of desserts (eclairs, tarts, cakes, turnovers, mille-feuille and more) are exceptional. Equally fantastic are their savory baked goods (multiple flavors of calzones, pizzas, meat pies, wraps, and more). Everything is made in house, from scratch, and is of the highest quality (for example you can see sheet pans of fresh roasted vegetables in the kitchen). Their offerings change weekly, making routine visits a must. Parc Sans Gluten gets my highest reviews, not only for those who require gluten free, but for anyone who enjoys top notch baked goods (both sweet and savory).“
“You have to search a little to find the counter of this intriguing Polish pastry shop. The welcome was cordial and the answers to my questions were quickly answered.I opted for the essential donuts with unique flavors. One of each: Apricots, custard and plums. As soon as the order is placed, as soon as it is done. They couldn't be cooler! The crumb was airy and the authentic flavors were a pleasure for the taste buds!Don't expect commercial donuts that are too sweet. Here the homemade flavors are a pleasure and the flavors are different and frankly delicious! The pastry cream is well balanced, creamy and soft. The apricot is more tangy, almost juicy. Yum! The plum fritter is rich, delicately sweet and my big favorite! They are a little more expensive than the donuts from the big restaurant/cafe chains, but here we are elsewhere. Buy less, but buy quality is a vision that applies perfectly here! Get out of the routine and dare these unique donuts. It’s a detour to make during your visit to the Jean-Talon market! In any case, this will be the case for me!“
