“I grew up in RI and now live far away. When I come back home, Christy's is a must stop. ! am fortunate enough to have shopped at liquor stores all across the country and the world. Today I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Deborah. Wonderful conversation, wonderful experience. Had what we were looking for and more. I've been shopping at this liquor store for years and just met her today. There is a reason it's right at the top of my lists as my favorite stores. There is no hometown bias, it's a great store sincerely and anyone looking for a good experience and a business worth supporting should shop here.

“I’d like to give a shout out to a local businesses where I had an absolutely delicious meal. I was looking for something new & different in the Cranston area close to Garden City that wasn’t the same old monotonous fare that I’m used to. I stopped in for lunch on Thursday as I had an appointment on Reservoir Ave & again for dinner on Sunday after I picked up a cake at Antonio's Bakery. I’d like to start out by saying, I’m half Italian on my Dad’s side (Neapolitan, from the Avelino region, & Sicilian, specifically from Messina) & a quarter Armenian on my Mom’s side (ancient Armenia which is modern day Turkey)…so therefore I’m extremely fussy about my Italian, Armenian, Mediterranean, & Middle Eastern cuisine; my Grandma (Neapolitan) & Grandma (Armenian) were outstanding chef’s in their respective kitchens, & I was outrageously spoiled as a child & very rarely ate out, I had the best of the best~those skills were certainly not passed down nor inherited by me-scrambled eggs in the microwave anyone. With that being said… The owner (who is from Syria, so you know you’re getting an authentic product) & his team provided great customer service, very attentive & patient, knowledgeable about the food they’re serving & able to explain the flavor profile of each item. The restaurant is pretty well taken care of & clean. They encouraged me to try the shawarma, I’m glad I listened, I wasn’t disappointed…now I’m obsessed. I ordered the grape leaves, hummus, & chicken gyro. The grape leaves and the tzatziki were okay, I was expecting a tangy, lemony flavor with the grape leaves along with a more traditional look as well as flavor to the tzatziki, however the hummus & chicken gyro were very good. The hummus was creamy & the gyro was light, airy, & mild…it felt like I was eating healthy. The owner provided a free sample of their falafel…which I had at another establishment years ago & didn’t like…when I returned on Sunday I ordered that along with the chicken gyro, & the owner gave me a free paklava dessert-to my surprise I thoroughly enjoyed it as I’ve found others hit or miss & off putting. Needless to say, I had an amazing experience & I’ll definitely be a repeat customer for sure when I’m in town.”

All 3 fan are covered with a thick layer of dust some accumulation actually hand down from the blades! please get up there and clean those blades!!!”

Poco Loco Tacos has it all: an unpretentious menu containing all the standard issue Mexican favs and some creative ones, low, low prices, a chill counter guy, and a rustic vibe. I took a chance on a basic beef taco and was not disappointed. DELICIOUS flavor, and slightly hot like I like it. If you go, you'll find indoor seating and on-street parking. Recommended.”

“As a board member of our PTG I’ve used Cafe International twice now to cater breakfast for the teachers at Stadium School in Cranston. The owner was very helpful with suggestions on what to order, the food is always fresh and so delicious. The cinnamon sugar bagel and iced spiced chai is a personal favourite. Prices are reasonable and ordering and pickup is smooth. Thank you, we will be back in the spring for Teacher Appreciation week!”

“My family and I have been ordering food from this establishment for years! The staff is great, delivery drivers polite and food delivered HOT!!! I think the prices are good and have not increased as much as other places. Very clean inside, and always receive a friendly greeting when you arrive for pick up or dine in. I am a vegetarian, and there are several options available. Also, they will work with you to have your order created to your needs(to the best of their ability). Can't say enough about this restaurant!!!!

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian grinders, pizza, veggie calzones, spinach pie, eggplant parm sandwich and dinner. Salads, several kinds.

Parking: This location does do a lot of business. The parking lot is a good size, some businesses close at night so there may be more parking then. At peak times as in any restaurant, you might need to park a little father away. Still close though, we have never had an issue with this in years!

Kid-friendliness: I have seen many children in the restaurant over the years. I think they are wonderful dealing with the children. Please be respectful as they are a restaurant not a daycare.

Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped parking in front, easy access to building and enough room for a walker wheel chair et. I don't know about the bathrooms for handicap, never used them. Call and ask, they would be happy to inform you of any needs you my have and if they can help.”

“I love Uncle Sushi & Grill. Best East Asian food in RI from the places that I’ve tried. Their Vietnamese Chicken Pho is DIVINELY flavorful. And it tastes even better the next day. Their Fried Rice is fresh and flavorful. It has the perfect small amount of oil so you don’t feel bogged down the next day. The chicken wings are so crispy when you get them regular. The spicy ones are less crispy of course due to the sauce but both have beautiful aromatic, well balanced yet complex flavor profiles. They use the perfect amount of Fish Sauce in their dishes so that it’s not overshadowing the rest of the components. Also, their Thai Iced Tea is really smooth and yummy. You can tell the amount of each ingredient placed In the dishes are deeply intentional. The staff is kindly efficient and smart. Due to the size of the space they’re mainly a Takeout Restaurant (order in-person or call during non-rush hours) but the food is well packaged so you aren’t losing any flavor during the ride home. Also, I didn’t experience any spillage in the bags during transport. For all 4 items I spent ~$37 and I have food to keep me going for the next few days! I love this place.”

It was easy to get to, not far off the highway, and parking was available, which made everything convenient right from the start. There was a healthy line when I arrived, which is always a good sign, but there was still plenty of seating. The atmosphere was quiet, clean, and comfortable, which made it a great setting for a good conversation and productive meeting. Told waitress my husband didn’t feel well and I asked her if we could get a couple of pastries to go, she refused! Paid $40 X 2!! I went twice, one during lunch and again during dinner . Main difference I can remember between lunch and dinner was that they offered dim sum and steak. Their dimsum was good but I greatly enjoyed their fried rice, noodles, and cha siu. Along with their skewers!

Their sushi was mid tbh and so was their spring rolls. They offer a variety of foods, typical Chinese buffet entrees. They also had a salad bar and fruit for dessert plus ice cream which was nice.

Service was nice and fast, did not have to wait at all to be seated. Would love to go again!”

“I have been coming here for quite awhile now. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Today was the first time I was dissatisfied with my coffee. The cup had a significant amount of grounds in it. It was not a pleasant experience.”

“They did a great job with the renovation, looks completely different and very modern compared to the old china dynasty. Everything we ordered was very good and service was excellent. Salty shrimp with shell was my favorite, best salt and pepper shrimp I have had around here. Apparently they got the recipe for the sticky wings from the old owners and they were great too.”

“Amazing young man named Alfonso greeted my daughter and I as soon as walked in. He was very friendly and attentive. He made suggestions and knew the whole menu. I had to check the sign and make sure I was in California taco and not a higher end Flemmings or Camilla’s . He informed me it was his first job and he was doing his best leaning everything . He was doing an exemplary job of customer service. More young ppl should share this young man’s work ethic as he is going places.”
