“A hidden gem! Twin Oaks offers what many restaurants no longer do. The minute you walk in, you are met by a well-dressed, friendly host. The wait for seating is never too long, as they have plenty of it. The waitstaff is also dressed quite professional, allowing the atmosphere to be as fancy or as laid back as you need it to be. The menu has much to choose from, and anything I've ever ordered from here has been delicious. The portions are quite big, and they even offer half orders of many items. I recently got a steak that was cooked to perfection. The side offerings are always delicious, and they even had beets, which my husband and daughter both happen to love. My sons got half orders. One had the chicken parm, and the other had the spaghetti and meatball. They were both delicious, and they still had leftovers! For all of this, including wonderful service, the prices are still very reasonable. This place, nestled in a quiet neighborhood, brings me back to when restaurants were run by families for families, and dining out was made to feel like a special occasion. Twin Oaks is a dying breed, and I hope they never change!“
“Was in area ,asked a sales girl for a little different place for a quick lunch, she gave us 2 choices, but highly recommend Michelangelo, the staff was very friendly, did not rush me, brought food to our table, very courteous, now we know why it’s highly recommend. Can’t believe we didn’t know about this little Gem before. Will definitely stop by again!“
“The Screaming Unicorn is a popup eatery located at Buttonwoods Brewery in Cranston. They have a small kitchen space and pickup window next to the bar and offers a changing menu of crafted sandwiches, smashburgers, salads, French onion dip, and unicorn fries/nachos, most sandwiches (sandos) priced $14-$16 before tax. I stopped by Buttonwoods Brewery recently and headed over to Screaming Unicorn. I ordered a Braised Beef Sando ($16 plus tax) and was given a number stand to place on my table. The brewery was quite busy and I got my food in about 15 minutes. The sandwich itself was cut in half and had soft juicy braised pulled beef, onions, provolone cheese, horseradish aioli, chimmichurri on a toasted chewy bun and au jus for dipping. The sando was not very big and messy to eat. I enjoyed my sando with a cold drink as this was a good place to get inside for the hot weather outside. I will definitely have to try other crafted food items as their menu changes each week.“
“Those in the area may take Haruki for granted. This was my go-to sushi restaurant for years when I lived in RI. I moved to southeastern MA in 2017 and have spent these years looking for my Haruki replacement to no avail. My solution, far less sushi in my life than I prefer, but I always try to hit Haruki when I come back to the area. Always fresh, rice is always warm and freshly made. Great selection and warm welcoming team members. Thank you Haruki!“
“Sheeeeesh everything was sooooo good! This isn’t my first time coming here but surprisingly I never have reviewed them. Had the smoked porkchops, rice beans and some tostones. It was all amazing! I’ve been here many times when they first opened but unfortunately I don’t live on this side of town anymore ? I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area! Also I’d like to add I don’t know what my waiters name was but he was great! Very pleasant with a smile anytime i asked for anything and the fact that he was fluent in English was definitely a plus!“
“Food photo with no filters! If you like being able to customize your pizza pie this is the only place to go. They have endless toppings so even the pickiest of eaters can find what they like. That's right a place for kids and kids at heart! Great options for those who have specific dietary needs. You can even customize the crust. The cheesy bread is a must try. The desserts are great as well. If you haven't been to Blaze a trip is in order!“
“This is typically our go-to place for great wraps and salads but tonight not so much. When I ordered I was told 25min. 40min later I got our ordered. Okay... fine, it was busy... but when we started eating it the chicken tenders were overdone and chewy. The tuna was dry and didn’t taste the same and the ,Madeira salad had more onions and olives than there was lettuce- the chicken was dry too! We’re hoping this was just a bad night!“
“Located inside the Garden City Center (Mall) in Cranston. Went here for lunch. I’m not generally a salad person and I loved it! Tons of options. Not cheap ($15 for my salad) but typical for a salad bar place. I had the GUACAMOLE GREENS ?highly recommend it.“
“I had a nice meal at this Panera recently...got the Pick two with a chipotle chicken sandwich and a strawberry poppyseed chicken salad. Both were very well made, fresh ingredients and nicely seasoned.Ordering using the mobile app is the best thing...your rewards account gets credited right away and the order is ready when promised (you can opt for text messages, which are very accurate).Good food....“
“Went in for a small shrooms and roni pie, which was plenty big. A little too much flop for NY-style but I don't think that was the point. They definitely don't skimp on the ingredients and it was delicious. Good prices too and they even have a senior discount. What's not to like? I'll have to be back for one of their stromboli's.“
