“Some of the best food in Jamestown! I love to cook, and I cook A LOT. Angel's is an angel on those nights I am exhausted or just burnt out and don't want to make dinner. My husband and I order takeout from them a few times a month, and would definitely order a lot more often if they were open 7 days a week. My favorite hands down is the Caesar Salad with salmon. Salmon always cooked perfectly with a crispy crust, dressing (on the side) is creamy and delicious. House made croutons add the perfect crunch. Portions are so generous, I have plenty for lunch the next day. My husband usually orders either the chicken milanese, chicken marsala or chicken piccata and all of them are yummy as well. Highly recommend for take out, but order early as they get really busy. The secret is out.“

“Glad we popped over here from Newport. The French toast and breakfast sandwich were delicious. The pastry selection was huge, though we didn’t partake. The line was long, but they were taking orders as fast as the could. This is an order at the bar style cafe. The food came out fast. Nice little outdoor area as well. Popular with both the locals and tourists.“

“Loved the clam chowda. The clam cakes were mostly breading so I took a star off. Service was good. There was only one person tending bar and waitressing. The only suggestion is to be greeted or a sign that tells you to seat yourself/wait to be seated“

“I loved this place. Service was quick. Portions huge. Friendly servers. I'd only say my wish is they get to expand the location. They deserve more space. But they work well with what they got. I got Isla's pastrami with fries & it was so good & filling“

“What a perfect Mothers Day dinner! We had a great table in the window alcove and service was friendly and responsive. The meal was great. Bruschetta starters were small but tasty. The tagliatelle was delicious. My Italian mother had the branzino and said it was excellent. She loved the meal and is a very tough critic! The ricotta pistachio cake is a must-have for dessert! Fantastic!“

“Great little spot for breakfast, and only a 4 minute drive from most of the Newport hotels. My wife had a bacon egg and cheese on a very fresh everything bagel. I had 'The Cowboy" which was one of the British options. Both were delicious. The owner / chef was very nice and helpful, and even gave us a tour of downtown London via YouTube! Highly reccomended.“

“Another amazing experience at Trattoria Wakefield. We chose to go here over all other RI places to celebrate our wedding. Service was impeccable and food delicious. “Really good Jamaican jerk chicken--in Rhode Island of all places! Ordered takeout over the phone, and our order was double-checked before handed to us. Portion size was good for the price, and the food was delicious! The chicken was seasoned and cooked well, and the sauce enhanced the flavors. The steamed vegetables were tender, and the rice + beans side was soft and fragrant (could taste the butter + coconut milk).“

“Went to the Coast Guard House for my daughter's birthday a couple of weeks ago. Our server Julie made us feel comfortable like family. She was very attentive taking care of every need we might have. The food was great. I will definitely be back. Hope I get Julie for a server again.“

“Adorable home style restaurant with a true Italian cuisine. As their restaurant indicates, it's very cozy. The wait staff is attentive. I believe for alcohol, we were informed beer and wine. My husband and I decided to enjoy the bottles water. It was a pleasant experience.“

This was THE BEST espresso martini I’ve had in Newport hands down ! For food we had oysters and crab cakes and lobster roll which were all very good as well. Nycoles exemplary service, impressive martini making skills ( it’s all about the shake ?) and outgoing personality should be recognized for she will be an enormous asset to your restaurant especially during these peak season months ! “One of THE BEST Italian restaurants I've ever been to. It's a very intimate setting and the food is delicious! I had the Manicotti al pomadoro and my boyfriend had some farfalle cream dish, which was fantastic as well. We had tiramisu for dessert, and I'll just say we would've ordered 3 if we could eat it all. This is a must try spot!“

Aside from the Lobster Roll being out of this world, their clam cakes were amazing and their fish and chips were fresh and delicious! “My wife and I are vacationing for a quick two day stay in Newport. We came to Pour Judgement at the suggestion of someone who knew of the spot in Providence. We come from a small town and this reminds us of our local watering hole. The patrons are fun and the service is a absolutely stellar. We could not ask for more, this bar made the perfect stop before our nice dinner out on the town. Drinks are poured nicely and the bartenders are unparalleled in their craft.“

“Cute little Mexican / American restaurant set in a classic New England style house. We had an early reservation and were sat upstairs, which is less lively according to my friend, but totally fine as we had an early dinner. Everyone kept mentioning the ribs, which I wouldn’t typically order at a Mexican spot, but they were delicious! We split them between the 3 of us, got a pitcher of margaritas, an order of queso and guace too! After this, I was so full I barely could eat my entree which, was sooooo delicious. Salmon and salad topped with a corn salsa - the menu has a better description but the portion was very generous. Friends also ordered a lobster quesadilla and enchiladas, which they enjoyed. I would definitely recommend this place!“

“Great place, we decided to give it a shot for lunch today and were blown away. I ordered a large steak bomb and it was one of the best I've ever had. The bread was toasted but the inside was nice and soft. They definitely use very fresh bread. I also tried the potato skins. These were not frozen, pre done potato skins. They were homemade and delicious. Crunchy on the outside and the inside was like mashed potatoes. They were excellent. I sampled the habanero hot sauce, which was also homemade. It was great, very spicy and hot but really flavorful. One of my co-workers had the chicken parm sandwich and said the sauce was amazing. He asked the staff if it was homemade, and they confirmed it was. My co-workers agreed, were going to add NK Chicago Pizza to our lunch rotation. Great place, and the staff was really friendly as well. Nice place.“

“Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday and were seated immediately. Casual dining. We ordered the clam chowder and a couple of the fish dishes. The fish was fresh and was accompanied by choice of potatoes and fresh vegetables (baby carrots, green beans, and Brussels sprouts). We would definitely return.“

“Came here for dinner on Saturday night while on vacation. Lovely ambience, feels very intimate and wonderfully decorated. Many vegetarian options. We got the green curry with tofu and the brown soy noodles with chicken. Food was amazing although I took off a point for service because they charge extra for rice instead of including it with the curry. The green curry was some of the best I've had. We also had the J rolls which were delicious. Service was quick and they were very attentive throughout the night despite having many other customers. “Great choices for pescatarians. The bouillabaisse with lobster was incredibly tasty and the crab cakes unctuous. Very good service, fast and attentive. Nice decor and ambience, a bit on the noisy end but it is a popular place so it's somewhat to be expected.“

“I liked the pizza at Martino's. It had good crust with good texture. I would not call it thin crust, but a good example of what you might get in Rhode Island and better than most. I just wish they had fresh garlic, but that's a personal issue for me. The owner is local and enjoyable to talk to.“

“I absolutely love this Thai restaurant. I hope this Thai restaurant lives on forever because its truly a gem. I simply cannot find any Thai restaurant in the northern part of this state that can even come close to this one. Make sure you stop by here if your ever on Aquidneck island. Especially for a tasty, filling, and cheap lunch. I highly recommend the Chicken Pad Prik King- probably my most favorite dish and food overall. “OMG... Lived here in Middletown for 2 years and first time visiting IHOP! Don't know why I waited so long. Wife and I stopped in for a late evening dinner(breakfast) and everything was amazing. Ashley was our waitress; very attentive and took care of us. The kitchen staff absolutely crushed it! Had the Spicy Poblano Hollandaise.... ??? Wife the Thick and fluffy French toast with eggs and sausage and that was delicious as well. All in all, 10 out of 10 for everything! We'll be back soon!“

This is not a tourist bar, but do not let the rough look turn you away. This place has cold beer and solid wings. The bartender is a no joke kind of gal, slinging beer and serving food. “The Chop House Grill has been our go-to place every week for years. We went again tonight and sat at the bar to eat and interact with James Tsai, our favorite bartender and server. He is a true expert at his job, and is frequently observed training new waitstaff. He gave us perfect service as always. A newer member of the staff is Max, whom we also enjoy dealing with. Both are ideal representatives of the Chop House Grill. Kudos! I wish that we could give 10 stars to "the Chop" and these amazing people.“

“Alex was our fabulous server. We were a table of five and then six (all from Newport) that made Alex work! We sent her back and forth I can’t even count how many times. She was patient, knowledgeable and just damn good! Everyone of us liked our meals and the drinks were great! Great night all in all.“

I don't like that you have to get a huge 5 peices of French toast and you can't get 2 with eggs etc. Cornbeef hash isn't your traditional type and I wasn't a big fan of whatever veggies were mixed in and the bottom was alittle burnt. Two adults and 1 child came to over $50 so its a bit on the pricey side.“

Very charming with good mom n pop ambiance.Only downside was that it was very cold out and we went to dine in and the doors were WIDE open. “The family is so nice and the portions are huge. The dumplings whether made there or frozen, were great. The issue we had was the food was bland and needed some spice and stronger flavors. I realize they make food for tourists, and we are accustomed to more urban Chinese food. When we order again I would try the Szechuan dishes.“

“Was here for a wedding reception and the base is beautiful. The bar staff are friendly and the food was good. We had heavy appetizers and an open bar, so they can handle just about anything. There are some restrictions because of base access, but anyone who can get on the base can come to this bar. The view over to the bridge is beautiful. Enjoy!“
