“Ok so who knew Warren, RI had so many AMAZING food spots? I can't wait for my next visit to this cute little New England town. Most recently I had the pleasure of dining at Revival through a recommendation from a close friend and MAN! this place did not disappoint. The inside is cozy and welcoming, the service was speedy and friendly and the food selection was incredible. I also love a place that has specials - my mother in law enjoyed the short rib pappardelle. My first time having Osso Bucco and OMG - I need it again and again. Cocktails weren't half bad either, I'd love to return for a more casual snack and drink.“
“This place is awesome! Went here the first time a couple weeks ago on date night. So good. The waitstaff is so sweet and the restaurant is so lovely inside—so colorful and full of life!We had enchiladas, tacos, and burritos. I had a couple yummy cocktails—great!“
“So, my girlfriend, and I wanted to try some new places that we have not been to. The food was very different, and eclectic. We tried the General Tso's Cauliflower, which was very good. Lots of flavor, and like the fact that it's a vegetable. Something different. For my entrée I had the Mozambique Mac & Cheese. It was two different flavors poured into one dish. Bravo!!! The only issue we had was that there parking lot was really small, but that will not stop us from going back. We will be back.“
“We love it here, the food is delicious except they put way too much salt on their home fries. The staff is wonderful too. The only thing is they charge you $2.50 for butter which most other restaurants don't charge anything. Overall a lovely place.“
“Food was good. Prices have gone up considerably. They charge a transaction fee on top of that. Apparently, this is for credit card customers, but if you don't see it and pay cash on the table, it gets charged anyway. Not a good business practice.“
“I went there for my birthday. The chef wrote me a card which was so thoughtful. We got the white bean and focaccia bread. This was soooo tasty. For dinner, I had the crab cake and eggplant. My partner who is not a vegan enjoyed the food as well. The staff was so great as well. I would definitely recommend and return.“
“Officially one of my favorite bars in Providence! It's gorgeous inside, but the drink was absolutely amazing, and I don't typically drink. They have some great options, but I chose the beet drink with goat cheese foam which initially intrigued me but simultaneously sounded strange. Well it was delicious! Loved our experience and will be back.“
“Lovely ambiance. Amazing staff. Great selection of food.Thank you Jasper for an amazing experience.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options to choose fromParking: Parking is a little bit of a challenge, there’s about 3-4 diagonal spots. However, pedestrians were very kind and understanding.“
“The food was wonderful, tasty. It came out quick and hot. The spanish rice was fluffy and spicy. Thr service was friendly and made you feel comfortable. Absolutely love the atmosphere. The wall mural is beautifully done and each time you look at it you find something new. Definitely get a tamarin margarita.“

“Finally got around to trying out the new Barrington location and it was nothing short of amazing! We got there on a rainy Sat night - called ahead to see if they took reservations but were told no and that there should be no wait. We got there shortly after and were promptly seated and serviced. The new spot is def a few steps up from the old spot - updated, modern and airy. Meaghan was our waitress and was wonderful - as was all the staff. It was outstanding friendly service and efficient all at the same time. We started with the loaded tater tots and the octopus special. The octopus was cooked wonderfully and the tots were a fun appetizer to share - reminds me of my elementary school lunch if I was Richie Rich. But the spotlight goes to our entrees - I got the chicken parm with fresh rigatoni and the pink vodka sauce and he ordered veal parm with fresh bucatini and pink vodka sauce (how unoriginal ). Both were delicious! I love me a good vodka sauce and fresh pasta - my rigatoni was maybe 20 seconds short of being al dente but I'd prefer a tad harder vs soggy floppy pasta. The bucatini however was perfecto! The mister said it was one of the best veal parms he's ever had and that's a tall order to fill! All drinks were creative and tasty! And with how delicious dinner was, we had to get some dessert and they didn't disappoint! We were way too full and took the rest of dessert to go. With the nightmare that is the Washington Bridge debacle - this is a great place to support more locally, you won't be disappointed! No need to go to the Hill for some good Italian (they do serve up Portuguese fare as well) when we've got a great spot in our backyard! With apps, drinks, dinner and dessert - tax + tip was close to $200 but well worth every penny!“
“Tiny on the inside but packs a mighty oyster punch. No reservations but there’s a standing bar area you can start ordering drinks and oysters from while you wait. Obviously come for the oysters, but stay for the Bulgarian lamb burger!! Also the kimchi brine oyster shooters. Man those things were delicious (and dangerous!!) Also also pickled fried onions. Get those you won’t regret it.“
“Shout out to Ivy and Mandy who made the four of us feel welcome as walk-in this evening. We are doing a Girls Weekend in Little Compton and after a day of shopping in Newport, needed some sustenance. Jade was our awesome server and had great recommendations and went that extra bit to make our meal special. All our entrees were terrific (salmon, swordfish, steak frites and mussels). Thank you!!!“
“Ok, you want a great burger? Be prepared to take a bath afterwards. And that's not a bad thing. I had the juiciest, most tasteful burger I've had in ages. I regret I didn't take a picture, but when I took the first bite, I didn't stop. Had the special maple bacon cheese burger. Our waiter was great, upbeat and personable, and the place is clean! The only thing I have a problem with is the loudness, but it's a bar and grille. It's what you'd expect. Won't stop me from visiting again!“
“Best fried chicken I’ve had in Rhode Island. I’ve lived in the south for a number of years and this place gets it right. The Nashville Hot Chicken Bao Buns were our favorite. We also loved the creamed corn and mac and cheese. Give this place a try if you’re looking for delicious chicken and southern comfort food.“
“I love the moody lighting and music that plays at night! Each member of the staff was extremely personable and we loved talking to Ryudo & Anthony about the stunning drinks/food they made. Watching them make a hot cocktail on a cold night was incredible! What really made this an experience instead of an outing was all of the small details that were paid attention to. Like higher quality paper towels in the bathroom, coasters matching the type and color of drink, utilities having a matching aesthetic (from lamps to teapots!) and bartenders personalizing each drink (offering us little changes they think we would like more, without us having to ask just based on how we react to the previous drinks). It was all so personal, and I loved watching every single person get that experience. I like that it’s just how they do things, and not just our one time experience onlyAnd I’m not just biased because I love the olives (they come in a little bathtub!!)“
“A very small cafe in east Providence. The food was good but quite expensive honestly. Staff was friendly. They have two vegan options: a brownie and some sort of “cheese” sandwich ( which I had and was really good) I would go againVegetarian options: I am aware of 2 vegan options but there might be more. Plenty of vegetarian options though.Parking: I didn’t find any parking. I ended up parking at India point park.“
“If you like Mexican food you have to come here. You'll thank yourself later. The Cochinita Pibil is like pork flavored soft butter. Neeza is family owned and everyone here is very friendly and welcoming so much so you won't want to leave. The decor is cozy, funky, retro-modern with the perfect tempo of Mexican music. Very relaxing. Wallet friendlyTequila flights...need I say more? We are working our way through the menu and loving it.“
“Frequenting Red Door has become a ritual for my friends and myself, and for a good reason - it's a culinary destination that effortlessly marries an exceptional drink menu with an inviting ambiance and engaging events. Red Door, in my experience, is a delightful journey through flavors with menu items such as the Heihei chicken and drinks such as Oaxacacillin, and Emerald City, and an ever-changing tapestry of events, and a haven of positive vibes.“
“Love it here. There’s indoor and outdoor seating (include bar stools). Very cozy in some areas indoor. The backyard has plush and well maintained lawn. Loved that this outdoor space is child-friendly. They host events here on weekends so I can imagine, the space fills up quickly. I stopped by for breakfast on a weekday and there was a line to order food and drinks, but the service was effortless and quick. Food was tasty. The one thing I will point out is the smoothies are not made of fresh fruit/veggies, I was bummed by that. They use flavored concentrates. Parking in the front is limited, but there is a sign pointing to extra parking toward the back.“
“Amazing food and experience. Their menu is fluid and every option is unique - made it tough to pick given how appealing everything sounded. Wife and I enjoyed the Mac Daddy burger, Odeum chicken sandwich, and a King Street Steak Tip sandwich because it was too tempting. Our sever Nicole was amazing, and manager John was incredibly nice and accommodating. We can’t wait to come back here.“
“Located in the oldest indoor mall in America, Rogue Island has an eclectic Prov-Centric cuisine. If you haven't signed anywhere in Rhode Island this may be confusing. Let me explain. You see Providence has arguably the best food in North America and we have our own little twists to things..Unique, creative entrees and appetisers paired with local beers and spirits are just the beginning. I really can't do the quality of food here enough justice with words. They change the menu seasonally to reflect local sourcing and rhythms. They shop as local as possible. The chefs are locals. The vibe is Unique to Providence. It's located centrally downtown so there are no excuses because it is nearby buses, Uber and parking. Go here, eat great food and be happy!!!Dietary restrictions: Tell the staffParking: EverywhereKid-friendliness: Not so muchWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“We attended a Maison Ferrand cognac seminar & tasting the other night at Sapphire & it was such a fun & unique experience for us. The staff at Sapphire (Melissa, Marc, & Shiv), as well as the guest bartender (Vannaluck), went above & beyond to make the experience interactive & memorable. We were greeted immediately with a French 75 made with cognac - Did you know that the original French 75 called for cognac, as well as many other classic cocktails? No? Neither did I. The welcome aperitif was a great lil' treat to kick the night off with. We were given a mini charcuterie selection to keep us busy until the main event, which began about 20 minutes after we arrived. Vannaluck talked us through the history & characteristics of cognac. We were given 3 small pours of different cognacs to taste as well as a serendipitous, bonus mini pour at the end. Throughout the night, the kitchen sent out a variety of tapas that UTILIZED COGNAC. Cognac glaze, reduction, brine, etc. Fascinating! I went in knowing next to nothing about cognac & left with a decent understanding of the spirit. I've always wanted to do something like this, & Sapphire made it extremely accessible. It was also amazingly affordable. I'm really looking forward to more events like this one. Sign me up, please.“
“I just wanted to drop a 5-star review and give a shoutout to Dallas for making us feel so welcome this evening. I called ahead to inquire about mocktails, and was told they could definitely accommodate that request. My coworker and I showed up, neither of us drink, and Dallas made us both amazing mocktails. I often feel like the bartenders in most places are annoyed when you don’t drink alcohol but I really did feel welcome and included and was very grateful. The drinks were great, and I will definitely be back, alcohol or no alcohol. You guys are great! Thanks so much.“
“OH MY GOD HEATHER! I told you that would be the headline for my review. after waiting an hour elsewhere to even have our order taken, we left. We'd been here once and sandwiches were great, so we thought we'd try again with some friends. Phenomenal is an understatement! Service was top notch and the food so incredibly fresh and flavorful. The Buffalo mozzarella triangles are a must try! Even if you don't like heat, don't worry. they're made with a homemade Buffalo sauce that is light and creamy with a slight hint of spice! the breading has just a touch of fresh basil and they literally melt in you mouth. my boyfriend said the meatball sandwich may have been the best he ever had. I cannot recommend Grainsley's enough and I can't wait to see what culinary delight I enjoy on our next visit!“
“Great food, great service. Several vegetarian and vegan options. The yakisoba available during lunch time is a favorite.Vegetarian options: Veggie ramen and yakisoba are great. There were a couple other vegetarian options clearly labeled too.“
“Yooo whaddup! I'm visiting from Miami. If you're looking for the freshest and tastiest oysters this is the place to be. Excellent customer service. Easy reservations. Great tasting food. Amazing experience. Highly recommend the Cherry Stone Clams.“
“I've spent a fair amount of time living in the South, and with that came a taste for good BBQ. When I moved back to New England I missed being able to find BBQ on ever corner. And whenever I did find a spot the food was marginal at best. When I heard Dunny's was bringing BBQ to their place I can't say that I was excited about it, the years of let down didn't have me with high expectations. Well last night we decided to give it a shot. The food was absolutely perfect! I ordered a combo plate that consisted of (2) ribs, pulled chicken and brisket. Included were two sides, I chose Mac & cheese and fries. Also standard meals come with slaw and cornbread. We sat at the bar, service was prompt and friendly. The food came to us being halfway thru our drinks. We were offered three different choices for BBQ sauces, we asked for all three. The food arrived hot and the bartender provided us with extra napkins.... it's BBQ! Everything on my plate was very tasty and cooked perfectly. I've experienced places that do one or two items great, but then ruin the meal with something so far off base it was disappointing. One of the signs of well smoked and cooked ribs is "fall off the bone. Well I picked up the first rib and was left holding just the bone. Honest to God the meat remained on the plate! The texture and taste was that of what you'd eat in rural North Carolina. The pulled chicken was a first for me. Basically breast meat shredded simmered in a unique BBQ sauce, it was really good. The brisket was three generous slices with just enough fat to eat it without trimming it off and loading it with flavor. The brisket is where I tried each sauce, all were good, although the spicy wasn't hot by my standards. The Carolina was spot on tangy and sweet. Fries were really good too, spiced with garlic and maybe chive (?). Cornbread was okay, I'd like to see them add jalapenos. My only suggestion would be to add collard greens to the menu. They do offer beans and my dining partner had them, but I was too full to ever try them.Spot on for an Irish guy bringing Southern BBQ to a neighborhood bar!“
“Very solid spot for dinner if you're in the area. Not mind blowing but good! Had the Greek style salad that was good but a bit overdressed and a bit heavy on vinegar for my taste. Pasta was cooked well (had the bolognese). Portions quite sizeable! Easy to make a reservation and service was prompt and the right level of attentiveness.“
“Over 400 kinds of whiskey! The food menu is small but good; no desserts. The boards have several fun options. Couple meals. Mostly apps, sandwiches, and burgers. This is where you go to have a few drinks and some apps with friends. Cute option for a date night. Not for kids. You go here to sample different types of whiskey you've never had. Some are expensive and some are not. There is beer, wine, and other spirits as well. Trendy. Great decor - metal and wood. As with most places in Providence, parking can be tricky. Give yourself some extra time.Kid-friendliness: Not for kidsWheelchair accessibility: No“
“I can't say I've ever had a bad experience at needle and thread. I was so happy when they announced that they would be open on Sundays because I was able to celebrate my birthday there last night (2/18). Drinks are always on point. The menu changes seasonally and I can't say I've ever had any complaints. Looking forward to my next visit!“
“Great all around experience. Smoked wings and brussel sprouts were terrific, wonderfully seasoned and cooked to perfection. Pulled pork, brisket and chicken sausage were all great in their own way with nice blends of flavor and a good mix of crisp and tender bits of pork and brisket. The food didn't need extra sauce, but it did add a little to the pork. Finally, we all agreed that the skillet cornbread was amazing and would be worth doubling up on in the future!“
“Bottom line: a delightful French bistro with absolutely delicious food, a casual, cozy vibe, and an excellent value. Something different in the East Bay. An underappreciated gem. We’ve been going to Le Central for a few years and recently rediscovered just how good it is. The vibe is French bistro, complete with black and white checkerboard floors. It’s casual, relaxed, and cozy. It feels like French comfort food. The menu is thoughtful and amazing for how truly delicious the offerings are. It’s a ‘who’s who’ of some of the best French dishes, without pretense or weirdness (no snails or frogs legs). Starting with the table bread, half of a baguette, perfectly toasted and partly sliced, with soft butter and some olives on the side. The onion soup is full of melted Guryere cheese, caramelized onions, rich beef stock, and toasted baguette slices, served in a ramekin. It’s perfect and utterly irresistible. Pair it with a salad and it’s a meal. The Salad Nicoise has perfectly cooked green beans, roasted fingerling potatoes with butter and parsley, roasted red peppers, a bed of arugula, a nice filet of perfectly poached salmon, and a mouth-watering lemon-caper compote. It’s hearty enough as a main course for lunch or dinner, and is deliciously satisfying (and I’m not usually a salad person). The hamburger might be one of the best you’ll have. A hand formed patty of organic beef on a toasted Brioche bun, served simply with tomato and lettuce, cheese (cheddar, Guryere, or Roquefort) and applewood smoked bacon optional, and a side of ultra-thin and super-crisp potato frites (too good to be called mere ‘French fries’). We love burgers, and both think this is hands-down the best we’ve had in the area (it’s the spiritual opposite of Chomp burgers which are excellent in their own right but very different with many heavy, spicy additives that make for a ‘wet’ burger). Le Central’s hamburger stands on its own simply with the highest quality ingredients prepared perfectly (like the rest of the food).Coq au Vin (chicken with wine) was a revelation. A half of a Cornish game hen (breast, leg, and thigh), braised in burgundy wine, served in a crock brimming with mushrooms, sauteed onions, and bacon, in a rich, thick, velvety stock, and a side of roasted fingerling potatoes. Just the smell made my mouth water before even taking the first bite! It was heavenly, deeply satisfying, and very hearty and filling. There are always some specials, often including an omelet. Recently we’ve had asparagus and brie, and mushroom and Guryere, variations. They were spectacular, served with a side of potato frites. They turn brunch into a special experience and feel decadent despite the modest price. They offer a full brunch menu that looks yummy, though we haven’t (yet!) tried it.Desserts are homemade. Our favorite are the Rochers (“rocks”), chocolates like turtles. Dark chocolate filled with the specialty of the day, various nuts and fruits. Order at least one if you’re stuffed and don’t think you can fit in anything else, but a plate of 4 goes down easily with tea.The drink list is massive. In the spirit of a French bar there are dozens and dozens of liquors of every kind. A nice offering of about 20 wines (French of course), every one we’ve ever had has been a winner. Some beers, and even several ciders, apple and pear varieties, from Normandy! This area has tons of typical bars/pubs/taverns, seemingly one on every block, along with Portuguese (Portuguese-ish) and Italian restaurants. Le Central stands out, both for being unique in offering a great selection of the best of the best of French foods, and for the amazingly high quality and reasonable prices. It’s one of the great, underappreciated secret gems of the East Bay area. If it was in Boston the prices would be more than twice as high and people would be raving about it.We’ve been finding it hard to go more than a week between visits.“
“Best bar in Providence and I have only been to this one( can’t see anyone being better). Heard good things about it and it did not let me down. The ladies that work here are all tremendous, Polite, professional and know how to make a damn drink. Not only can they hold a conversation but the people that come into the bar can too. All around a great bar with great people and great drinks. Support this place because they deserve it and you will appreciate it too. I’m new to Providence and the place in a whole made me feel welcome!!!!“
“The service food and atmosphere was awesome. The Salmon dish was great also the steak frites. Server was great the only disappointment was there was no clam chowder. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good place to eat.“
“Went here on a Thursday for dinner and a beer after work and the place was amazing. Everyone was so nice and I felt like Ive been going here forever. The food came out quick and was so flavorful! The chicken mozambique plate was so good and had a little kick of spice to it. They also had music bingo night at the bar side and everyone was singing along it was such a vibe. They have music bingo every other Thursday. I absolutely recommend here if youre looking for somethkng casual and trying to chill. They have their own parking lot.Parking: They have their own free parking lot.“
“What a find! Was looking for a good restaurant for lunch in Bristol and found Brick, which it seems only recently started opening for lunch. The smell from the road of brick oven pizza lured me in:). The atmosphere is awesome, a big roomy old industrial building that feels almost like a tap room - while it was lunch, I didn't get a chance to dig into the beer list but they have a huge and well appointed bar. Our server, Haley, was friendly, personable, and shared that all the ingredients are local. She even gave us the tip to warm left over pizza up in an air fryer to keep it crisp! Had the pizza of the day, Fig & Prosciutto, and the Shroom pizzas and total amazing-fest. Delicious, thin crispy crust with a sophisticated taste. Without question will be back and happy to recommend Brick to anyone in the area or passing through - try them for lunch as was a light crowd, fast service, and selfishly I want them to stay open for lunch forever!“
“We had an amazing time celebrating my wife’s 40th birthday. Our server Steven was very attentive as well as serenaded my wife with the most beautiful rendition of Happy Birthday. The dinner music was lovely, the singer had a fantastic voice as well. “Sara Smile” by Hall & Oates is my wife’s favorite and he sang it to the T!! Don’t get me started on that Banana Cream Pie, by far the best I’ve ever had!!! We will definitely be back!“
“First time as was in town from Newport to see Little Jagged Pill at PPAC. Bartender (Tim?) was excellent friendly, knowledgeable on menu and made great handcrafted drinks. Manager (she moved here from NYC) was also excellent. I ordered the pork loin special, one of my friends ordered to porchetta over grits (I was a bit jealous as it was amazing. Overall a great experience.“
“So I have to say I am really pleased that Diego’s has got its groove back. I was there in June for a disastrous brunch and we left aft 45 minutes of a really bad experience. I mention this as the owner must have cleaned house. I was there on Sunday for brunch and I can not help but to describe the experience as phenomenal. The service - impeccable. It was almost as if the waitress knew when our drinks were almost empty every time. She also had some great recommendations related to the food and drinks. The food - phenomenal. We had the crack fries as an appetizer and it was not only great but the portion large enough that I had trouble finishing my actual meal. And the special - I had the Chicken Benedict. The only thing I can say bad about it was it was so big I couldn’t finish it. Everything about it was perfect - it had a little zing, the cornbread was a perfect alternative to an English Muffin, and the chicken so good. So my compliments to the owner and staff. I don’t see my review from June but I’m sure they remember it and changes were made. We decided to give it another try and I will I say this without hesitation… this was probably one of the best brunch meals I have had in a long time. Well done - we will definitely be back.“
“Il Fornello is a culinary gem, offering a delightful taste of authentic Italian cuisine. From savory pasta dishes to wood-fired pizzas and decadent desserts, the menu is a celebration of traditional flavors and recipes. The restaurant's warm and inviting ambiance creates the perfect setting for a cozy dinner or special occasion. With attentive service and a carefully curated wine selection, Il Fornello promises a memorable dining experience. While prices may be higher for upscale dining, the quality and authenticity of the food make it well worth it.“
“I am telling you that if you want the best tacos on Tuesday and wings on Wednesday in Bristol, RI you have to go to the Wood St. Cafe and while there enjoy a cold beer with Sabby the friendlly owner or Mary Lou at this cozy bar. I highly recommend this establishment with their family atmosphere.“
“What do I spy behind the (not proverbial) heavy velvet curtain... Speakeasy vibes 90s hip hop Intimate alcove seating, Chocolate coffered ceiling, c shaped bar, vintage hand painted tropical murals adorn the walls. The two mixologists conjured bespoke cocktails with adeptness. This little gem packs out after shows.“
“I was visiting my son from Florida so we ended up up going out for dinner place is super clean waiters was very attentive and polite they check on us every 15 minutes to ensure everything was good love the presentation on the plates small rice portion still was good steak was good just a little cold at the end the waiter offer tequila on the house that really was a nice touch I'll be back in town soon and visit this place again thank you all“
“Localz is a good meal at a fair price. They don't take reservations and aren't on open table, that's a bit of a downer, but overall you can't go wrong here. Try the corn and bacon dip as an appetizer.Parking: The parking is somewhat limited and you may have to park along the guard rail on the road.“
“I love everything about McCray's!!! I read other reviews but I could not relate to "any of them." I was just there last week and ordered $100.00 worth of food, everything was delicious ? I do agree with the one review! Those Devil Dog Mud Slides "ARE THE ? BOMB!" You really can actually taste the liquor! My only complaint is: "I wish you were open EVERY DAY of the week ALL YEAR LONG! Kudos to you and your staff!! I'll see you next season! ??“
“Stopped here before a comedy show next door. We got some light ape and drinks. It took a while for anyone to come and take our order which is why I gave the service a 3. We almost left because we thought we weren’t going to make it in time. The food was very good and loved the presentation was fun and cute with the mozzarella “ducks”. Price was also reasonable.“
“This place is the best club in Providence. They got the safest location and really never have issues inside. I see people from all over the place and even people bring their family members that are visiting from other states and countries. To go to a place and feel the good vibes before you walk in is priceless. Always a good time can't wait to go backWheelchair accessibility: Easy wheelchair access. They will make sure your entrance and exit is effortless“
“The food was very good and the restaurant was very nice. The service was excellent. Will surely go back again.Vegetarian options: There are options for vegetarians.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome.Wheelchair accessibility: There is room for a wheelchair to get in.“
“A truly unique bar that packs so much character into a small space. From the movie posters to silent film projections, this place is covered floor to ceiling with conversation starters. Great selection of beer and cocktails. Galactic only sells one food item, a grilled cheese, and it’s honestly one of the best grilled cheese I’ve ever had.Offers a variety of entertainment including karaoke, open mics, comedy shows, and live music. Fun intimate vibes.“
