Always fantastic and delicious
By. Long shot, Persimmon is the best restaurant in providence and the best we have been to in the US. The food is always perfect, service is amazing and a great atmosphere. The black spaghetti is a must have! We have been to Italy and the spaghetti is my favorite! They deserve 10 stars!
This probably the best example of Providence related to the food scene. Extremely high execution of insanely high quality ingredients. This is a place that goes on the list of must-return restaurants. I loved everything about it.

Persimmon provides an exceptional dining experience with impeccable service and fantastic food. The restaurant offers small, creative plates in a tapas-style setup, allowing guests to try multiple dishes. Standouts include the foie gras appetizer, which is highlighted by its fantastic presentation, and a variety of other well-executed dishes such as the deviled eggs and spaghetti bolognese. With top-notch service and high-quality ingredients, Persimmon is a must-try in Providence. Guests have noted that the oysters taste incredibly fresh, while the desserts, like the honey orange tarte and the pistachio and strawberry layer cake with basil ice cream, are delightful. The ambiance is nice and the area is pleasant for a post-dinner stroll. It's especially great for vegetarians, though the menu changes regularly. Overall, Persimmon is an excellent choice for a memorable meal with both creative food and warm hospitality.
